Hubby, daughter and I attended my Yelp friend's daughter's first birthday. It was fairly easy to find with ample parking all around the recreation center. My friend's daughter's theme was all pink as the hall was decorated in pink. How cute. As a guest coming to the party, the venue was pretty nice with restrooms across the hall. There were four or five long tables and the hall could probably hold around 200 people maybe less. There's a kitchenette in the back so you can cook or keep your food in the fridge. I thought that was pretty cool as most recreation centers don't have a full kitchen you can prep your food. My friend had the hall from 5 pm to 9:30 pm. We ended up leaving around 8:30 as hubby started work this morning at 4 am. I definitely had a good time.I'm sure it was pretty pricey to rent the hall because they probably charge by hour. Overall the recreation center served its purpose.

My friend just started teaching zumba here so of course I had to come out for her first class! The location was very very easy to find and the zumba room is located in a huge recreation center. There are huge windows letting the natural sunlight in, as well as a beautiful view of the swimming pool.My friend Sheryl's zumba class is fire! Whether you are a beginner or an accomplished dancer, you will have fun at her amazing class. The music is a compilation of all of my favorite zumba songs and Sheryl is a great instructor. For non members it's a reasonable 6.00 per class. Be sure to come down and join us!

Yay! they have air conditioning in the party hall!Came here for a party, must have had about 200+ people. The tables were set up all in a long row, with 3 long rows of tables with seats on each end. Everyone is pretty much crammed in, so if you are in the middle, good luck getting out because your stuck, perhaps this party invited more than the room could accommodate?. The party managed to fit a photo booth in the corner of the room, and the drinks were outside on the lanai area, where guests could also hangout. They have a large stage, parking didn't seem to had been a problem, lots of parking stalls right outside the rec. center and bathrooms right down the hallway. One thing I was pleasantly surprised about is, the rec. center office was opened on a Saturday night, and I was able to get my Mililani Town Association card updated during the party! Love that they have flexible hours for Mililani homeowners, so convenient.

This is kind of a small venue to host parties. Maybe 200 people can fit but that is pushing it. I've hosted my sons birthday party here and it was very tight! My clown had a small section to perform, as she preferred only for the kids and not on the stage. Totally understandable. I had originally put her out in the center room, but the rec management who was there at night, wouldn't allow it so we moved her stuff in a tight corner.. She also notified me that she will be bring her bunny so I also had to check in with management to make sure it was okay. Any vendors I used had to be cleared with management.. The pool use is optional but has to be reserved at the time of the party. But it won't be exclusively offered to your guests. Other Mililani rec users can use this pool at the same time. But not many venture to this pool. It is very outdated.. If you host parties during the day, with the permission of Mililani rec, you can place a bouncer right outside. It was pretty expensive to host the party here. They were strict on time and a police officer had to be present. No alcohol allowed. This is the same location people come to renew their rec center membership cards. Although the location was convenient to where we live and easy to transport all party supplies and run home if we forgot something, I personally wouldn't host another party here. It was a bit stressful and mighty expensive. But I was a new parent throwing my first first birthday party. You live and you learn!

I've been here for a grad party several years ago. The hall is a decent size. Not as big as the Rec 5 space but still large enough to have a family party. Today I visited the newly renovated admin office. It's been about 6 months or so since they started the renovations. The office is very nice. Looks like the workers now have a bigger work space for themselves.

I love this location. Mililani Recreation Center 3 is the main recreation center, where the administrative office is located. If you wanted to walk in your payment for Mililani Town Association (MTA) quarterly dues, this is the location. In addition, if you wanted to purchase or renew your membership card, you would come here. The last time I checked, I believe that it was $12 per year as a homeowner. You may also purchase a two year membership card for $21. You save a few bucks that way. The staff here are always so friendly, too. I'd prefer coming here to renew my membership than other locations. As a member, MTA offers many recreational activities and/or classes to choose from including Judo, Karate, Kenpo Karate, Yoga, Tai Chi, Aquatics, Tennis, Basketball, Hula, and dance classes. They also offer exercise classes, such as Zumba! For those that wanna shake their booty! Lol. If you really want to sweat and work your bum, then sign up for their bootcamp. Now that's good stuff, right there. I think I want to sign up for that one, myself. Hehe. They also have a great Seniors Program and a Tiny Tots Program for children from 18 months to 4 years of age. Any who....once a member, if your'e interested in signing up for any of the membership services they provide at this and other locations, this is the location you would need to sign up for them. This location has a lap pool, tennis courts, and a rental facility that can house a small party. If I'm not mistaken, I think it's around 100-150 max. This is a cool place to house a weekend lunchtime birthday party for a child. You're able to rent the facility and the kids can go swimming in the pool while they are there. Cool stuff. We've attended a few birthday parties here and it was pretty cool for the kids. We've also attended a graduation party here. I'd say if you're planning on inviting no more than a hundred guests, this is a great location. My husband and I used to come here frequently to play tennis with friends...when we had more time on our hands (pre-child). We also used to come to this location to swim in the pool on weekday evenings as well as on weekends. It's not as busy as the other locations.

I've been to parties hosted at this location as well as hosted a party here too. I definitely enjoy being a party goer a lot more than hosting it for sure. But either way this location makes parties that much more enjoyable. Lots of parking, in the lot or on street. Big amount of space but not way too much space either. The kitchen area come in real handy for keeping and prepping foods for set up and clean up. The actual host area with the tables and chairs also have a stage for performances and announcements. Right outside the "banquet area" there's a hall that you could have games and activities going on, very spacious as well. The bathrooms on site are very clean and multiple stalls, huge plus. On the outdoors or the facility there's a pool, I never asked for details on pool usage so I can't provide info for that at all. No matter the time of year you host, the building is easily cooled with multiple doors, Windows and ceiling fans. I'd highly recommend using this venue for parties/gatherings as long as you have someone that is part of the Mililani Town Association to make the arrangements. As far as I can remember I was recommended by a coworker to use this location and asked my father to set up the reservation dates. There was a deposit taken and there were fees for special duty officers that needed to be on site. Clean up needed to be done by 11pm and I can't remember when set up began. Overall I've had nothing but great experiences with Mililani Rec 3 and will continue to visit.

Today I am reviewing Mililani Rec. Center 3. Why? Because I already did Rec.7, I might as well do them all. Rec. Center 3 is starting to show its age but it is still very much a great addition to the choices you have for some fun in the sun when you can't afford to go to the beach because your workplace doesn't really know how numbers work sometimes and cuts you a really small check and then you have to call corporate and then they say they'll put it in the next one instead putting you on a tighter budget than usual so you can't drive to fun places hahahahaha ha hahaha. . . .anyway. . . Rec. 3 has a dance hall, tennis court, Hot tub, Pool and ping pong tables so we're going to go categorically again. Rec Center: The main building itself hasn't changed much since I was a kid riding my bike up here on the weekends, there's even a very old map from before Mauka was built that is really cool to look at. The bathrooms are pretty standard for a public Rec. Center and the snack machines are always stocked, you can also get an MTA card printed at this location. Dance Hall: Only been in here twice but it's fairly large, you could throw a pretty nice graduation party in here for sure, it even has a stage but I'm not 100% sure if it's air conditioned or not.Tennis Courts: Immaculate, they've just been re-done by the looks of things, we always see people here playing. Ping Pong: You set the tables up in the main room, the one with the map I was talking about. When both tables are down it can be a bit cramped, especially if the ball gets away from you but overall it works. Hot Tub: A standard hot tub, the kind of one people get just to plonk down in their yards, you can adjust the temperature and the jets and everything .Pool: This pool is one of the smaller pools in Mililani with a maximum depth of 6ft, it's also one of those ones that is shallow on both sides but deep in the middle. I also HIGHLY advise you to wear goggles at Rec. 3 in particular, they have some sort of super chlorine in there. In short, despite its age, Rec. 3 is still good enough to seriously consider when you're looking for something to do.
