Never knew this place existed til today. You learn new things every day...Was told it was a bike path but saw no one on bikes, just a few walkers so it was not crowded or noisy. Luckily the heat of the summer is previewing in late May already there is a spot of shade and some boulders to sit on. Not safe for white shorts. If you have toddlers or young elementary children they can run around in the grassy area.We only went as far as the boulders and didn't see any restroom facilities. Good idea to bring your own water to quench your thirst.

While studying the Trail of Tears in 7th or 8th grade, if my memory serves correctly, each class held onto and carried a rope from the Middle school down to McDonalds and back up through the ravine. Towards the top, our PE teachers surprised us with water balloons. That has got to be one of the most memorable moments I had at MMS. Heck, I remember walking from MMS to town center on Fridays and on the last day of school! Oh the good ol' days! It's a beautiful path, well maintained for the most part. It's quite long path to walk, jog, stroll, or bike through. Nevertheless, it is in no way strenuous or intense. Perfect for little ones too. People walk their dogs just bring poop bags and remember to toss it in the trash can. Didn't notice any sketchy people around but I still wouldn't go alone. It's a nice neighborhood and the path isn't hard to find when going down or up.

I'm just going to lay it all out here on Yelp...I find runners incredibly sexy! When I drive past a runner on Meheula I gawk and admire their stride, form, and effortlessness with just a few beads of sweat dripping down their neck and back. But when I run, drivers gawk and wonder what the heck? I look like a mental hospital escapee as I'm ducking, zig zagging, swatting, and shaking my head trying to avoid gnats crashing landing on me. No matter how fast I run or what time of the day I run, gnats swarm me like bees to honey. So now I've given up...I just carefully walk to the Mililani Ravine Park trail then run to my heart's content. The trail runs parallel to Meheula but is well hidden from the street so nobody can see me spazzing out from the gnats attacking me. When my rugrats don't have school they love to tag along and explore "the woods" which keeps them busy and safe as I get my run in. Rolling the grass hills, plucking 4 leaf clovers, admiring eucalyptus oil oozing out of the trees, and hunting for Smurf mushrooms (no worries, we don't eat or even touch them). There's plenty of space for them to play catch or blow bubbles, but they simply love getting in touch with nature. I love this "secret" trail because its walking distance from my house and a great sliver of nature in suburbia. But if you live outside of Mililani Mauka, you honestly don't need to make the special trip.

This trail is located in Mililani Mauka. It's not a very long trail by any means, but it really is a nice, serene path in the suburban community of Mililani Mauka. One point of entry is adjacent to the gazebo at Mililani Mauka. The actual park itself is right at this entry. It is a nice secluded park that cannot be seen from the main or side roads. The park is green and surrounded with lots of tall trees which provide ample shade. The grass is very green ad well kept. Continue walking up the path, and it will take you to Maka'ika'i Street. To continue on the trail, you have to cross the street. This half of the trail will take you between some townhouses and homes and ends at Mililani Mauka Community Park next to Mililani Middle School. This path is great for walking, jogging, and running. We do see an occasional biker and some young children skateboarding through, but it never is crowded or busy at all. The park is a good size. We've had a picnic there a few times, and it is nice and peaceful, away from te hustle and bustle. Every time we have had a picnic here, we'd be the only ones set up there. So it's nice. There really isn't a designated parking area. We live close by. So we usually walk to it. You can park on the intersecting streets: on Maka'ika'i or on Lehiwa. You're better off parking on Maka'ika'i because of how busy Mililani Mauka Community Park gets with the handful of sports team that practice there. One part of the path is just a few steps away from our backyard, and our daughter loves going there after we come home from work to either ride her bike or just bring a few of her toys and play on one of the huge boulder stones on the grassy sides of the path. She loves to pretend it's one of her cartoon villages as she plays with her toys. It's been called Smurfville, Ponyville, Sugar Rush...whatever her favorite cartoon is at the time. It's a great path to go on a stroll and is a great start or end of a good run through Mauka. It's really peaceful and just a good place to clear your mind after work. Serene and safe.

We really enjoy this park!! It's great to kick the soccer ball around, practice some baseball or even get a good workout in. We even go sometimes just to blow bubbles and eat some pretty good pictures of the sunset on good days. Fair warning though after a certain time mosquitos come out so be sure to have spray or just cover up.

This is little hidden gem of a trail located in central Oahu. The path is paved and covered with ample shade with the many trees situated along the path. At one end is an exercise area closet to the entrance of Mauka. You could actually park your car at the Lehiwa entrance and then walk down and back up. Thanks fellow Yelp ppl for sharing this place on here.

Always a beautiful walk. No full moon, but still a peaceful night. Especially after today. I always enjoy sitting at the cleaning with the rocks and listening to the birds, and crickets.

This is a good park to relax at. The grounds are well maintained. There's also a good path that runs through the park that's great for walking/jogging. There are no picnic tables, just of nice field with some trees. There is some graffiti on the walk path, which is a shame. There's also no lighting for nighttime strolls, and the only light pole has been broken for awhile now.
