Shopping and dining in Mililani, Oahu, Hawaii...If I ever went to Mililani Marketplace in the past, it was before Yelp, and before I can remember...This Shopping Center is probably most known for Safeway. We visited because of Sakura Restaurant. I had a gift certificate from an Instagram Contest in which First Hawaiian Bank collaborated with small businesses such as Sakura Restaurant. Sakura is a stand-alone business. Everything else is like a strip mall.Luckily, Irene M. knew her way around. We walked over towards Subway, passed Super Cuts and Po Sing Chinese Restaurant, and saw a nail shop around the corner, past Meet Tea.It looks like this Shopping Center has some vacant space. I wonder what was here and what's coming...

Where?...It is one of the smaller shopping center in Mililani that has Safeway which anchors it and see many come here to shop though my first visit here was for Meet Tea and you need to know because the signs aren't quite that visible and sadly they no longer sell tea (sigh!) but there are a few other biz here like Sakura which is the reason I'm here because lucky Nadine has won an Instagram contest and I was the lucky enough to experience it all.Subway, Super Cuts and a few other services are available here though what I'd come back for is Po Sing Chinese Restaurant as they seem to have some yummy roast pork and plate lunches here that I never knew existed. Lots to explore in Mililani and this shopping center has some spots that I hope will be filled with more biz to keep me coming back.Thank you!

Did ya folks know there was actually (3) shopping centers in the Mililani neighborhood????I guess most folks who venture to the Mililani neighborhood know that there is the - Mililani Mauka Shopping Center, & the Mililani Town Center............ but the 3rd (and probably the most forgotten shopping center) is the Mililani Marketplace. The Mililani Marketplace is the smallest of the (3) shopping centers in the Mililani neighborhood.............but this shopping complex has a Longs Drugs, & Safeway Supermarket as an anchor for this shopping complex...........pretty good, if I say so myself. If I can remember correctly, I saw the following businesses (while I was there yesterday) -1. Longs Drugs2. Safeway3. Bank of Hawaii (Inside of Safeway Supermarket)4. L&L Drive-Inn5. Chopstick Express6. Ohana Tax Service Inc.7. SuperCuts8. Subway Sandwiches9. Freestyle Cafe10. Sakura Restaurant I'm not sure if there are more businesses at this shopping complex (which I may have missed), but if you check out my pics, you can see there wasn't a lot of shopping choices. On the bright side, if you live close by this shopping center, I'm sure having this little shopping center is a blessing............because if I lived close by, I would probably come here to do my marketing too............

Mililani Marketplace is one of those residential community strip malls that runs along Meheula Parkway. Just about a mile west from the main drag of Kamehameha Hwy, this quaint shopping complex is anchored by Safeway and Longs Drug stores. Not much about this shopping mall that you could write about, but it is decent in what you would want in a shopping mall. You can get here by #52 or #62 bus from downtown Honolulu, if you are like me and don't want to spend loads of $$ on gas. Get off Kamehameha Hwy and Meheula Pkwy and walk a leisurely about a mile to get here.Just the basic essential stores that this shopping mall has. Nothing fancy. I did like the fact that there is the Safeway and Longs here, along with Subway and a quaint Chinese restaurant and delicatessen. There is plenty of ample parking here, especially on the weekend. Pretty sure this small shopping area is the 3rd wheel to Mililani's two other retail spaces - especially when they are in relatively close proximity to each other, namely Miliani Town Center and the Mililani Shopping Center. Also here is a tax preparation business and couple of banks, along with an L&L Hawaiian BBQ restaurant. There is not much in the way of real shopping here, especially with the limited selection of stores. This shopping mall reminds me of Aina Hina Shopping Center. The Mililani marketplace is your quick all-in-one place to get your essentials and nothing else. If real shopping in the Miliani area is your thing, head on over to Miliani Town Center. I recently came here for lunch with a friend. We stopped off at Po Sing and picked up an order of roast duck and some lunch (for her) while I was good and went to Subway before heading off to the Miliani Mortuary & Cemetary to to visit a friend and a part of her family who is interred there.Unfortunately, this shopping center did not really meet my expectations, as it was my first time here. Although it was good for what it is, I would prefer to shop at the other two spots mentioned above or maybe hit up Waikele, if I am in the area again. The prices are consistent to what you would find elsewhere on the island, although it can be more pricey due to the location and the business markup / profit margin. Gotta make some money somehow, right?Support local!C+

Mililani MP has a nail salon, grocery store, fast food places, Supercuts, and the reason I come here mostly is to do my banking with BOH located in Safeway. And can't forget to mention, Po Sing Kitchen, they make the very best char sui, and roast pork, most people go to Po Sing for that. Lots of parking, I rarely see the parking even half full. There is an empty space good for a restaurant, hopefully will one day be occupied.

I had the 2 part Shingle Vaccine at Longs Mililani Marketplace. The pharmacist told me that they'll notify me at 6 months for my part 2. Soon the 6 months came and went, then 10 months, then over a year. Longs never called me to schedule the shot cause they didn't have it. After 18 months my doctor told me to go to Times as they had the vaccine and I got it within a week. Fast forward a few years and I needed to get the pneumonia vaccine in 2 parts. I asked the pharmacist at Longs if she'll remember to notify me and she proudly said she's going to remember. Good luck to that as you're better off believing in Santa. I've now moved 90% of all my medications to Costco as for some reason there is no copay like I had at Longs. I asked my doctor about this and can't write what he said but basically I think I got ripped. Since CVS took over the chain it's not the same Longs Store of old. I would recommend checking other stores instead of going there.
