Mikes Surf School

Thanks so much for the fun surf lessons! Mike and Zeke did a great job taking my husband and son out on their first surf adventure. It was windy and choppy (and the only day we could do this) but Mike and Zeke made them feel comfortable and had them surfing pretty quickly. We will definitely call Mike the next time we're up on the North Shore. Mahalo, Mike and Zeke.

Mike is such a nice guy and great surf instructor! My husband and I took our 17 year old son and we all got up on the board and were able to surf in. Mike is super strong and paddled me out through the waves so I didn't get too tired too quickly. My 17 year old got up over and over and I was able to get him on video! The weather was beautiful and we had a great time making family memories. Later, I was talking to a local and they said this was the best surf school on the island! So glad we found them. Highly recommend!!

We had the honor in working with Mike today! It was such a great experience! From start to finish, Mike was extremely informative and made sure we were comfortable before moving onto the next step! HIGHLY RECOMMEND this surf school! All around great vibes and such a cool way to spend the day on the north shore! Also big thank you for all the food and beach recommendations! Best day in Hawaii after a fantastic 10 day trip. Thank you for the experience and the memories!! Highly recommend Mike for an authentic experience on the North Shore. Zeke was excellent with my daughter!! We all made it up!‍‍ He also recommended local restaurants including Seven Brother's Burgers which were delicious.

I was super nervous to surf for the first time. Mike and Zigg/Zeke were SO NICE. They showed my mom and I all of the techniques, safety instructions. They brought surf boards for us, rash guards, water shoes. They even went above and beyond to make sure we came out during the best time period for the waves. Honestly an incredible experience and this post doesn't do them justice. I LOVE surfing now and was able to go from a complete noob to full on riding the waves. I learned a tremendous amount, prices do not even begin to cover the incredible experience. I cant not reiterate how friendly and so thoughtful Mike was and how he went above and beyond. I had always wanted to learn how to surf. I honestly had the best time of my life. Please help support these amazing Hawaiians and learn to ride the waves. Mahalo

What an enjoyable experience. Mike worked and adjusted the schedule based on weather and brought along an additional instructor because he knew the surf was heavier than normal and wanted to ensure our safety and enjoyment. He was with us from start to finish and gave us pointers to ensure we had a chance to surf the waves. He is great example of Aloha and welcomed us with positivity! We hired Mike and his team for private surfing classes without much of expectations and we were so pleasantly surprised by the attention to details, care and service our entire family received. Mike, Jason and Zigg went above and beyond to overdeliver and to our HUGE surprise we all stood on the boards and rode waves, including our 6 year old. Great, authentic surfing experience for our tweens. Mike and Zeke were friendly, helpful, and genuine surfers with knowledge of the North Shore. Our boys said it was "awesome."

Great surfing lessons! We did 2 private lessons with Zeke & Donovan. Mike prepped us for windier conditions & surfing safely. Strong beach side lesson from Mike, and the instructors were really great at helping us in the water. We caught 10+ waves with their help, and had a really fun time! Definitely recommend if you're looking to get out on the water!
