We ate at Mika's Lunch Wagon when they were at look Residence Inn Full Moon Night Market. There really isn't any ambiance because it's a food truck and you have to either take out or find somewhere on the side to eat. We love Korean food and we haven't seen this truck here before so we gave it a try. We got bulgogi bibimbap, spicy rice cake with clear noodles and mandoo, and the meat Jun plate. When we placed our order, the guy told us it would be ~30 min and he was nice. We thought that was long but we would rather have someone tell us it takes long for the food and have it come out faster instead of the other way around. It came out quicker than the estimated 30 min which was nice. Bulgogi bibimbap: comes with a gochujang sauce and lots of different pickled vegetables. This was really good the first night because everything was so crunchy and mixed well with each other and the sauce made it great! Unfortunately, even after refrigerating leftovers it was already spoiled the next day. Meat Jun: probably one of the worst meat Jun I've had by far. The outside tasted of flour more than it did egg, and it was so thin and tough that we had to salvage it by dipping it in the spicy rice cake sauce. I do like how it came with some banchan like potatoes and kimchi, the kimchi was a little too fermented for me. Spicy rice cake: this was probably the best thing that we ordered and the only plate that we actually finished. It wasn't too spicy, you could actually eat and enjoy it without your mouth being on fire. The mandoo wasn't anything too special but the rice cake + sauce + noodles totally redeemed this place.Overall, maybe we would come back here but we'd try something different than what we got, except for the rice cakes.

The little kitchen that could! Stumbled upon this cool little spot to eat. We ordered kimchi fried rice and liked it so much we ordered the spicy rice cakes with cheese. So good and I can imagine the rest of their menu is desirable!

The food was super delicious! If you want authentic Korean food you need to give this food truck a try! I've been searching for a good spicy squid spot and found one right in the heart of Waipahu!

Full disclosure the wait was a little long but to be fair the family in front of us had a massive order. The man at the counter was nice and took our order quickly and let us know that there would be a bit of a wait so it wasn't a surprise. The Jajang was amazing. I've long thought the best Jajang was made at home my home specifically but this was way better!!! So delicious and the balance between the salty and sweet with the rich savory depths of the sauce was perfect. Now I'm curious about the rest of the menu. I'll definitely be back for more.
