Mid-Pacific Country Club

Exclusive Private club wife and I were fortunate to be invited as guests. Got to play a round and lunch after. What a treat! Course in great shape. All the staff, carts, snack stand, groundskeepers and pro shop staff were excellent. Attentive, professional, friendly, helpful and courteous. After the round of golf, had a late lunch/early dinner at the restaurant. Restaurant staff were excellent as well. Great views of the course, clean and comfortable. Ordered the boeuf bourguignon, fish and chips and Hawaii plate. For dessert the baked Hawaii. All were prepared perfectly and Absolutely delicious. The baked Hawaii was to die for.So good! Michelin star worthy! Compliments to the chef! Highly recommend.

We actually went to this country club for the first time for a lunch gathering. Checked online for a menu prior to going, but could not find any information on the food, only the country club itself So, being that you have to be a member, or sponsored by a member to come here, it seems like you can't just drive in off the street, any time you want. Inside, it looks like an ordinary golf course restaurant. Comfortable seating and a gorgeous view of Kailua and the Lanikai Pill Box hiking trail. They actually have a good looking menu with a little bit of everything, from appetizers to desserts, and everything in between.Our table had a bunch of appetizers, fried chicken wings, shrimp tempura and coconut shrimp, cold tofu, soy beans, and kalbi. Or entrees varied from, what I could see, Kobe beef sliders, fish tacos, Reuben or corned beef sandwiches, I had the Shrimp Bahn Mi Bao, which came with 3 sweet, Chinese style buns, filled with a fried shrimp, topped with pickled carrot and daikon, and a little Chinese parsley, and a handful of fries. This was really refreshing and tasty!Dessert, there was a variety of watermelon sorbet, bread pudding, and I had a afrogotto, I'm probably spelled it wrong, but it's vanilla ice cream topped with espresso, very good!

I just recently attended a wedding here and it was my first time at Mid-Pacific Country Club. The club itself is pretty nice, though the interior design of the ballroom felt a bit dated. It has a fantastic view of the golf course, and the Ko'olau mountain range beyond: great for the wedding backdrop! The employees I interacted with were nice, minus the bartender in the ballroom the wedding reception was being in held in. He was okay, but had a noticeable attitude when I simply asked if he was accepting credit cards for mixed drinks. The food was just okay, except the potato mac salad; that stuff was amazing! The parking lot is also very badly lit; the bottom part of the parking, farthest from the club, has zero lighting so it's borderline pitch black at night.Come for the view and the golf! Not for the food and "meh" customer service.

Tonight=Thursday night was "Prime Rib Night" and it was super delicious All servers are great too. Loved it. Awesome place to have a family get together dinner.You need to have a membership to come here or someone has a membership to bring you here.

I just wanted to give a special shout out to the wonderful kitchen staff who made such a delicious Thanksgiving meal for take out. Highlights were the mashed potatoes, the stuffing, and especially the amount of turkey gravy we received. It's always sad when you run out of gravy, but 32 oz has kept us stocked up throughout the leftovers. All of the food came with heating instructions, which made it the easiest holiday meal prep ever (for us anyway). Also, my mom has *significant* food allergies, and the kitchen was able to make her a special plate with turkey, green beans, and roasted potatoes to enjoy! While this Thanksgiving was substantially different for so many families because of COVID, huge thanks from my family to Mid Pac for bringing us some much needed holiday cheer! Bonus: the food was packed and ready for pickup in their driveway, so we just pulled up, popped it into our trunk, and drove off. Literally 1 minute and done.

We were super excited to become members of the country club in our neighborhood, and initially found it to be a lovely, welcoming environment. However, when the club reopened in May after being closed for the pandemic, they made some very tone-deaf decisions that were pretty exclusionary. Closing the pool to children from 0600-1000 everyday, and from 0600-1100 on days when they do water aerobics, when the pool is one of the only activities open to kids, and during summer came across as being uninterested in maintaining family memberships. We also utilized their gym frequently prior to the shutdown. It was decent. Small, but functional. The staff is very welcoming, the food is good, and the other patrons are friendly.

We just had our class reunion here and the venue was spectacular. The sunset is amazing backdrop and location is perfect. The ballroom is decent size to accommodate our class size with good food of course. Parking is not a problem since there's plenty of space. And thank you for the personnel who gave me a ride on his golf cart to the venue. Although it was a short walk, it was nice for him to offer me ride.

We don't have membership, but my husband and I got married here! It was fabulous! The staff was so friendly, professional, and had sincere service, they made me feel like a queen! The grounds were beautiful (they have ceremonies on the first golf tee and the reception in their main ballroom) and their events coordinators worked closely with my hired coordinators to make the whole event flow smoothly. And the food... was... INCREDIBLE!! (Unfortunate that my husband and I were too busy to truly enjoy it... T_T) Lanikai is a significant place to me and my husband (confessing his love, first kiss, and proposal) so having the wedding at Mid Pac in Lanikai was a huge blessing, and so far the best day of my life. Thank you, Mid Pacific Country Club, for helping make this day so special for us!

Great golf course tucked in beautiful Lanikai. Always in great condition, and always fun to play. It's a private country club, but if you have an opportunity to play here definitely do it!Staff is always warm and friendly, and the clubhouse offers reasonably priced food with a great view. It is also close to beautiful beaches (Lanikai duh), so if you tee off early you can catch some surf and sun next door too! It doesn't get any better than that!

Grateful for the beautiful setting, amazing staff, and great friends. We enjoy our family time at the pool and laid back meals spent at MPCC. This is a unique and special place that leaves pretense at the door and is pure ohana.
