Haven't had sesame flavored tsukemen before but it was quite good and i appreciate how wel the flavor is infused i to the broth. Menya le nood is a great option for hot days when you need something thats not gonna make you overheat. I would say its got a decent portion size tho feels smaller than the average ramen shop. It does have one of my favorite flavors which i mentioned above, so i do still come by here from time to time!

My wife wanted to go Lin'sHawaiian Snack Shop to pick up some Lemond Peel. I wanted to have noodles for lunch. I told her let's try Menya Le Nood if we could find parking. Well, we lucked out. Hadicap street parking a few feet down from the restaurant. Menya is small restaurant with a Japanese flair. Metal stools and bench seating. It was comfortable enough for a short stay. Interesting was the kitchen which is four steps above the dining area. I had the Menya ramen with tonkasu broth. My wife had the standard ramen with shoyu broth combo. This included Three pieces of goyza. The goyza was not to my liking. The Menya had a good tasting broth. It had a perfect whole soft boiled egg and two thick slices of pork belly . The pork was tender and flavorful. The noodles were on the denser side and chewy. Our server was pleasant and courteous. Enjoy

Food quality was very good. The tsukemen noodles were delicious and had great texture but the pork was a little too fatty though very good overall. The gyoza & karaage chicken were very tasty. Limited drink menu but was able to try their own Yuzu chu hai beverage that had a little spice to it. Not too bad.The Server was very pleasant and the service was very good. The food came out very quickly after we ordered.Small place but very comfortable for an early evening dinner with friends. Parking is a challenge but was able to find Street parking near by. Will definitely eat here again.

It was my first time going on a Saturday morning to catch with one of my friends. I got their Salad Tsukemen with Black Tonkotsu Broth -- it was so rich with the garlicky, pork broth and the noodles were perfectly cooked. You can make the tsukemen as a combo by adding a bao on the side!*BONUS POINTS*- Monthly specials - Vegan Menu *PARKING*- limited parking spots (~3-5)- metered parking*LOCATION*- very busy since it is near Kapiolani and on Pensacola, so I recommend using the traffic lights to cross the street since many people like to jaywalk

I guess my husband wanted to try this ramen place located on Pensacola street before you get to chan wah Kam manapua luckily we found street parking because we have a handicapped plaque right on Pensacola street. We're the 1st one there because they opens at 11am. Decided to eat something than ramen but what I wanted only comes a combo whether you choose ramen or bowls. I wanted a Mini chicken karage bowl with 3 piece gyoza. She said can't have it have to be a ramen or a full size bowl to get the combo or order separately. So I opt to eat a basic ramen with shoyu broth and ordered the 3 piece gyoza to make it a combo. My husband ordered their menta special ramen with tonokatsu broth. My ramen was ok the noodles were little on chewy side and the broth mild shoyu taste but ok. The gyoza was good. Though my husband said it seems to be garlicky or onioney taste. He's ramen came with egg, 2 pieces of thick pork belly slices he said was good. All in all was ok.

Great experience! We went on a Thursday around 5:30 PM and had the whole restaurant to ourselves. Parking is a little tough because it's located on a busy street with limited street parking.Onto the food, our order came out quick. The Spicy Chicken Karaage was delicious! The batter was crispy and well-seasoned, but I wish it was a little spicier. The Menya Tsukemen with Black Tonkotsu broth was also delicious! I love the thicker noodles and kakuni pork! Everything is a little salty, so I think adding spinach or some vegetable with this would be good. The restaurant was a little small, so I recommend making a reservation or coming early.

Yum! Still a great spot for tsukemon. I ordered the tonkotsu tsukemon and my partner ordered the regular tonkotsu ramen. We were both very happy with our selections. We came on a weekday around 11:30 and were seated right away.

Menya le Nood is a solid restaurant around the Ala Moana area. I appreciate that they were able to accommodate the saltiness level for my mom. We all decided to get the vegan goma broth, which is $1 more. I ordered the Menya ramen and it was good. Parking situation can be a bit hard, but we were lucky to find metered parking nearby!

First of all, this restaurant's name is interesting, isn't it? I came here late at night, with not many options left. However, I was actually glad I came here because their tsukemen was delicious, albeit the broth could be better. The restaurant was clean and cozy. Customer service was great! The food:- Chicken Kaarage (10/10): This dish was great! Crispy on the outside and juicy on the inside. The seasoning was spot on, as well! This is definitely recommended if you are going to get an appetizer to go along with your meal.- Menya Tsukemen (8/10): The noodles were great but the broth has room for improvement. The noodles were mildly chewy and thick in texture. The portion was also reasonably generous! Now, I felt that the broth could be thicker, it was a little watery for my liking. Perhaps their traditional ramen might be better?Overall, like others have mentioned, this place doesn't make you go, "ok, I want to come back to that restaurant again". Nevertheless, if you are in the area and would like to have tsukemen, then Menya le Nood might be able to satisfy your cravings!

From quick and friendly service, to crispy soft shell shrimp deliciousness.... I enjoyed this hole-in-the-wall noodle spot! It's a very small, cutesy space... open kitchen like, you can watch them making your noods. Our server was Logan, and he was super nice and helpful with any questions we had. I came with my old colleagues as a lil "reunion," and it was such a chill vibe here. I ordered the Black Tonkotsu Broth basic with no Menma and add Onsen Egg. I chose thin noodles and it was cooked perfectly! The broth was nice and rich with a heavy garlic flavor that I absolutely loved! Garlic soft shell shrimp was something I can just eat alone or on top of some rice!! Crispy enough to eat, but soft mean and flavorful! For those who can't stand a whole strimp tail and all, then I would still try it at least once! Gyoza was nice and panfried... nothing more than good, but something I must have with ramen! I tried the bao and the bun was nice and soft. I got mine with kakuni (braised beef) and that was the perfect blend of umami, savory, and sweet caramelization! I will definitely be back for ramen and that shrimps.... A great place to go after a long day in the office! Ahah
