This cute structure is in the midst of the entanglement of pools...Surely the lazy river or the one of many pools is clearly the draw though I find this bridge really cute for the adventurous ones as being up high you get the birds eye view of this vast landscape and is a place where the little ones can explore at their leisure if swimming isn't their thing the pool portion is pretty shallow to dip your feet keeping it cool and still make a splash.I think it's a great introduction or starter place with for the little ones with the slides but here at Aulani does give many options to satisfy and cool off without worry as you can watch your kids with chairs just steps away the Menehune Bridge, which is like a fun little playground and a place to keep cool and have fun!Thank you!

After all, this is only a very small portion of the pool area at Aulani; I find it surprising that it even has a listing on Yelp. There isn't really anything to comment on, but given how much I adore Aulani and the Menehune motif, I will.

Let's just say my 6 year old was more interested in circling the lazy river a bazillion times that I could barely pluck him away to go on this bridge....I was finally able to convince him to check out this spot. He enjoyed riding down the two slides with a small line. But eventually we ended up back in the river and at the bigger slides.. This attraction is perfect for young ones to play around and explore. It doesn't get any deeper than a foot at most. Reminds me of the kids section at Wet N Wild waterpark. I'd say it's great for mommies or daddies and infants through toddler stage to play around in. Chairs are usually taken early on in the day but you can sit in the water with them no biggie. I didn't see any lifeguards on duty in this area but it could have been me trying to watch my own child the whole time. After reading other reviews, I did notice a couple parents on top of the bridge..during my short duration there, they did not get scolded.. Oh and this bridge closes quite early. So if you want to check in and hit the pool, I'd hang out at this location first before exploring the other pools.

I'm surprised this is a location on Yelp, after all it is a very small part of the pool area at Aulani. Not really anything to review, but do to the fact that I love Aulani and the Menehune theme they have I am giving 4 stars:)

Wish I took a picture of the sign that was posted right by this cause it made me laugh! Some highlights included:- THIS WATER IS RECIRCULATED. (oh gawd, what could that possibly mean to all the kids playing on the Menehune Bridge??!!)- NO CHILDREN UNDER 48". (sorry big kids. I was disappointed. I really wanted to play and squirt water at people)- DO NOT ENTER PLAY AREA IF YOU ARE ILL [etc.] (basically, don't play in this water if you're sick! in any capacity... remember - the water is recirculated!)Plenty of seats around this area to watch your kids play too!

My kids love this play structure more than the swimming pools and lazy river. They usually make friends with others and play tag. There's a slide too. No adults allowed, they can watch from the bottom.

High light of the trip for my littlest, she could explore and slide all by herself, so much fun!!

Perfect spot for toddlers and little ones to play with mini water slides and water splashing everywhere. As a safety freak mom this place is perfect! The water can't get more than a foot deep and my kids run and play until they are ready to pass out. Tough to find seating in the peak summer months since everyone just lays down their towel and reserves chairs. Thankfully I'm told that the staff watches for chairs left unattended for more than an hour and if not used they re open the seat. Gotta get there early if you want a good spot. Food and drink services are also available. Taking away 2 stars since they could use more staff regulating the children since they "don't allow adults on the bridge." Kinda frustrated that my 2-year old son was "cutting" and they flat out said he couldn't play there. What?!? First offense. He is 2 years-old and I know he isn't the only one who cuts the line not to mention the older kids will go down the slide and pummel my daughter who hasn't even had a chance to climb out. And I offered to stand with him in line to teach him to wait his turn. But was told ur was against the rules so that's when I was very rudely told that my son had to play elsewhere. Uncool! Come on Disney, I'm paying nearly $2k a night and your going to treat my children like that? I get that there are rules for safety and I respect that but don't single out my son when all the kids are doing it.
