Me Ke Aloha

I love love this guy. I designed a bracelet over 25 years ago and a few years back had him do a ring that matched. Honest and quality work. I'm going to design a new one for retirement. You get what you pay for. You are going to pay more elsewhere and get less quality. I've been wanded every time I travel because the weight sets off the detectors at the airports. Love my bracelets and ring.

They make Hawaiian Jewelry (think gold bracelets, police department badge necklace charms, etc.). They also make jewelry with Japanese themes like koi, cherry blossom, etc. I really thought my experience was going to be good here because the owners were so nice, patient, and I liked a lot of their jewelry. They say they can make any design one wants. Draw any picture and they can make it a jewelry piece. It seemed for real. I was really disappointed that jewelry I had ordered was not ready by the time Me Ke Aloha said it would be ready. It was about a month later, in fact. I had to call and check on the jewelry when the date they said it would be ready came and went, and they didn't seem particularly sorry.Nice people, decent jewelry, but I suggest that if you have pieces ordered that need to be done by a certain date, lie about that date. Me Ke Aloha designed our wedding bands and they are gorgeous. The owners are friendly and patient and really make incredibly high-quality Hawaiian heirloom-style jewelry at reasonable prices. The folks at Na Hoku should be ashamed of what they charge!

After living on the North Shore of O'ahu for 3 years in the 1970's, I have always wanted an heirloom bangle bracelet. So when my husband and I went to Hawai'i in 2006, we discovered Cary and Renee's Me Ke Aloha jewelry shop. They both were so kind an helpful and I ended up selecting the maile lei design. Cary made many helpful suggestions including engraving Me Ke Aloha with my husband's name and the date on the inside of the bracelet. When my bracelet arrived I was absolutely thrilled. Cary and Renee followed up and sent us a box of chocolate covered macadamia nuts as a thank you. We exchanged Christmas cards and it's been fun seeing their family grow. I highly recommend Me Ke Aloha jewelry. I love my bracelet. I never take it off. When I do take it off to show to other people, they always remark on its heaviness, and I tell them, it's solid gold, not hollow like some heirloom bracelets. Great service and quality products. I've had several custom Hawaiian heirloom pieces made here. I am very happy with the end product. I've always gone with heavy weight gold, while on the pricier side worth it. If you are looking for well crafted jewelry as heirlooms - it's a great choice. Hawaiian jewelry - I wouldn't go anywhere else.

My boyfriend surprised me with a bracelet from Meke Aloha Jewelers for my birthday last year. I fell in love with them from the minute I saw the jewelry because of the attention to the detail of the engraving. I took me about 3 months to finally figure out where he bought them (he didn't want to tell me, so he could get all the affection for buying my favorite jewelry). I stopped by their King St. store to see what else they had to offer and WOW! is all I can say. The bracelets there are much so more detailed than anything I've ever seen. Compared to the bracelet I got at another shop, there is just no competition!

Received superior service when we purchased our wedding bands from Me Ke Aloha. 10 1/2 years later I visited Hawaii & returned to Renee to have my ring resized. Was pleasantly surprised that Renee remembered me after all that time. Once again I received excellent services. Renee was very patient and accommodating. Received my ring much sooner than expected, and very pleased that my ring looks brand new again. I have an eye for quality and Me Ke Aloha makes top notch, unique, custom-made jewelry, and provides warm, personal service. It is a pleasure doing business with them.
