Cash only, first come first serve, only open 3 nights a week! You'll see a tiny little truck with colorful lights located inside a plaza with a liquor store & massage place. Located right across from the Ala Moana Hotel. Plenty of parking. Can be a little sketchy at night due to the liquor store. Oscar is a one man operation so please be patient during prime hours. This very small, but mighty little food truck will offer you the most authentic tacos and burritos on island. Don't judge a book by its cover, sometimes you'll never know what kind of gem you'll find...As a fellow Mexican food lover, this satisfied my cravings. From the crisp tortilla crunch, flavorful carne asada, to the authentic red and green salsa made in a molcajete..every bite of it was full of delicious. 2 carne asada burritos were $34. It's not the biggest burrito in town, but it sure is one of the most authentic you'll find. Quality over Quantity. We first learned about this place by meeting Mayita herself! She was very kind and friendly, happy to explain the menu and talk with us. She kept raving about how her husband, Oscar, makes the best Mexican food and how she knows we'd love it. We're so glad we listened to her and finally came by to check it out. It definitely was the highlight of my Friday night :) Mahalo Oscar & Mayita!

The food truck, (more of a small trailer stand), is very clean and well organized. The owner who is the single worker there is friendly and hard working. The food is made to order and comes out hot and fresh. Cash only. Food had very good flavors and is one of the few legit Mexican food place in town.

I like how calm and nice the owner was making the food! He has lights and a table to dine at.The music is charming as well.I was riding past on my bicycle and was able to order my food and have it in my hand in 5 minutes. They have an assortment of sauces. But what really caught my attention was the HOMEMADE red salsa and green salsa. There is onion, limes, cilantro, jalapeños ect fresh cut out for us to grab from as well. All in all I was ECSTATIC to eat the food. Being a delicious truck I think he should invest in a Venmo QR code because the burrito was $14.I got the steak burrito because a loyal customer before me told me it is the best. It is rather long in length and a hefty burrito. Fresh ingredients inside and allowed the other condiments I added to blend together to create one of the best burritos I have had on island in 6 years.

**CASH ONLY** wish I knew this earlier (c'mon yelpers). As someone who doesn't typically carry cash it was a miracle I had enough in my wallet for 1 taco! . Located at a tiny parking lot across from Ala moana hotel. Look for the shiny rainbow lights! There's 1 table and 1 bench to sit. I got lucky as the only customer at the time. .Carne asada taco was sooo good ($5). Pricier than what I'm used to in LA but the taste brought me back to authentic Mexican taco trucks. Highly recommend. .I'm definitely coming back here - with much more cash! lol. .Big shoutout to the owner running this one man show. I commend you and appreciate the yummy food you make. Thank you! .cheers (:

Honest review coming in HOT :DQuick Note: #cashonlylocation So the other day my ohana and I pulled up to this cute little wagon named Mayita's Grill with some Christmas music and yummy aromas coming out of it. I chatted for a bit with the chef inside I later learned was the owner (Oscar) he was so kind as to solely speak Spanish with me as requested as well as teach me some new phrases so that I can put my Spanish to some more real world use. Now to the food! My first impression was YUMMY! I got the Carne Asada Burrito and the flavor was definitely present not to mention I am a crispy gyal and the way he prepares his Carne makes the meat have some nice crispy exteriors so for me it was really pleasant. My fam all got different variations of the Birria options (Burrito & Quesadillas) I will admit the opposing comments that were among the bulk of us were how messy and essentially difficult to eat the burritos were without a fork (which would've only been an issue if we wanted to eat on the go) as well as the fact that there were no drink options and we all planned to eat at the location. Beyond those small things there were fresh tasting topping and yummy mild-medium salsas. Overall I had an amazing experience!

Perhaps the smallest food truck I have ever seen, but the owner is very friendly and the food is superb. Right across the street from the Ala Moana hotel. Prices are quite reasonable.

Cutest little taco truck across from the Ala Moana hotel! CASH ONLY! Best birria i've had on island by far. Lots of authentic homemade sides: jalepenos, cilantro, onions, salsa verde, salsa rojo (which is amazing!!!) & the birria items come with a delicious little serving of consome! Taco tuesday special is $1 off birria items. Not on the menu but you can ask for a single birria taco (instead of 3) if you're just looking to try; there is also a little sink on the side of the truck by the table in case your meal gets a little messy :)
