Nice quiet park which is perfect if you're looking to play basketball as a lot of places I have been the hoops are always taken. Very clean and everyone is friendly as well.

Was here on Sunday for a little BBQ social with friends & family. Park was quite, not too many folks used the park today besides the some firemen checking out some things was the only other excitement besides us.There is a sign posted at the entrance, that was not there before of, no animals allowed among other things prohibited, but there were alot of pet owners, including myself, who came with their dogs to play for a while. Its a clean park and great greenery all around to enjoy and take pictures.

Maunawili Valley Neighborhood Park is a hidden gem nestled in lush Maunawili Valley with a stunning view of Olomana ridge. When deserted, this 8.2 acre park is a tranquil oasis. Other times, it is alive with the sounds of delighted children enjoying the playground. The park also offers picnic tables, restroom facilities, two full size tennis courts, a basketball court, and a large play field suitable for soccer, baseball/softball, or volleyball. The park is located near Trinity Christian School and Maunawili Elementary, so the small parking lot tends to fill up quickly after 3:00pm weekdays. Be advised, this park is NOT dog friendly, and groundskeepers will scold you if they discover you there with your furry friend! To reach the park, turn on Aoloa Rd (near Kapa'a Quarry Rd) from Pali Hwy. Veer left onto Maunawili Rd, park will be on the makai (left) side of the road.Yelp 365 Challenge #132/365

A seriously boring park for kids. There are no swings and the slides are sticky so kids can't actually slide down them. The play structure is old, not in good shape and doesn't have a lot to offer.
