Maunakea Street Florist

Walked into this place. An elderly man was there and I asked him if the one refrigerator containing leis was all they had. He grumbled something and wasn't too pleased to get up and answer my questions. Service 1 star. He did get up!Ambiance: 1 star. Messy and uncleanValue: 2 stars? Not sure of quality of flowers for the price listed.

The older man with white longish hair was very friendly and even teaching a homeless man tai chi in his shop. I would highly recommend. I got a 10$ orchard lei.

Maunakea Leis and Flowers has been doing leis and orchid heads for me for YEARS! I have NEVER had any problems with them, the leis are always in amazing condition, and they go above and beyond for all of my orders. The prices are EXTREMELY reasonable, too! Mahalo for all the years of excellent service and quality flowers.

A rude, snappy woman who obviously doesn't care about the energy that goes into her lei or how she talks to her customers!!!She yells over her cluttered shop "hello" & waltzes over. When we asked her how much the lei were she begrudgingly glosses over that they "range". WTHeck! Why are you in a service filed when you can't give it! Then after a minute or so she irritably yelps, "K, let me know what you like!" When you haku you put your mana into it. This one wreaked of money hungriness and bad attitude. There are OTHER shops in downtown that will take the same care with the customers that they put into their lei...with ALOHA. You WON'T get that here!

Was at the store today and was looking for specific lei. Very rude lady was working there and sounds like she hates her job. I just walked out as there are 10 other more stores I can go to! Don't ever go to this place!!!

This is our family's "on the way to the airport / birthday / thank you / special occasion" lei shop. Are all Chinatown lei shops the same? Probably. But this one is on the corner of Maunakea and Beretania Streets so you can sometimes find parking right out front or just have someone drop you off while you run inside. Convenient. Reasonably priced. Friendly. Nice selection. And it's fun to see the ladies in the back making the different leis.

Nice leis but poor customer service...opened the fridge to get a better look at the leis and the cashier walked up and closed the door right in my face lol

I frequently get orchid heads and leis from this location and am always extremely happy with the products. Excellent quality, friendly service, and always accommodating. I have been a customer for at least a decade.

I have never been treated so badly by the owner or the person who services the customers. I called my husband to see how much leis I need to purchase. The man told me he had 10 left. I go back in to purchase the leis and He tells me hire he sold out. no one bought the 10 leis and I know that for a fact cause I was standing outside. The gentleman leans over to me and tells me you should've bought it earlier and that I shouldn't have danced around. He tells me there's no more of the leis and that I should leave.
