Mauna Kea bakes artisan breads that can be purchased at various stores on Oahu. Their breads are really ono. My fave is the Roasted Garlic and Fresh Thyme Sourdough Bread. Dat Buggah is da Winnahs if you ask me!!!

I bought a loaf of sourdough dough bread. Taste is good, but as an artisan bread maker myself, I couldn't taste the lactic acid from a true starter-leaven. Starter is simply starter, leaven increases yeast and sour product, lactic acid /induces a fermented smell. The ingredients on label was not legibly printed. Some bakers use vinegar (acetic acid/artificially induced sour). Real fermentation has a richer and deeper aftertaste. It was good though.
