Maui Brewing Co. Waikiki

I love the vibe here - it's covered and the bar is in an inside area, but you can still see the sunshine outside and if you want to sit by the edge, you can look down to the main strip of Waikiki. The staff here are very friendly and welcoming and the beer selection is solid. I recommend doing the beer flight so you can try whatever beers you are interested in! I haven't had their food, but the menu looks pretty good. I'll be back soon!

Food was delicious, drinks great, service top notch and quick.Our waiter was very kind to my mother who told him about her dietary restrictions. He then gave her suggestions and she was able to order a meal that she enjoyed. Wish I got his name.

This was unexpected but stopping here for lunch on a weekday is a great idea. The food is pretty darn good - I would say better than several hotel Restaraunts, who charge you more for less quality in food. I've yet to find a brewery with food that isn't really tasty and Maui Brewing Co. didn't disappoint at all. Our pizza was delicious and the beer flight was also really good. The highlight was of course the beer. A nice surprise was the mai tai! - who knew Maui Brewing Co knew how to make a nice cocktail. But yes - lunch is a good time to come here as it will be very busy during happy hour and dinner. I'm a bit over the loud party scene anyway but I'm still into drinking nice beer - so if you're on the same wave length of having a chill beer on your vacation with good food - check this place out!

Visited on a Sunday afternoon and it was almost packed. Even when we left at around 7 pm, it was about the same amount of people with tables still available. The bar was the most requested and full area than the tables. I first had Maui Brewing Co.'s beer back in 2019 when i visited Maui. Having it in Honolulu, it still tastes just the way I liked it with my favorite beer still being the Pineapple Mana Wheat. Its obviously much better from the draft than from a can. We ordered food and they were just okay. Nothing too special to note. Service was great and tended to us when needed/left us alone to catch up and enjoy beer. My husband ordered a couple cocktails since he isnt a beer fanatic like me and thought they werent that great. Overall, this is a place to enjoy some beer and hangout. Food-wise and cocktail-wise this place isnt it.

Kabayaki Butterfish was a delicious plate. We sat outside in a very dark, unlit area. The restaurant was super busy.

Decided to kill some time as we were waiting for someone & got lucky that it was still Happy Hour! We were only planning on having a drink or two, but we can't pass up a Happy Hour menu. We each had 2 Nitro Coconut Hiwa porters & ordered the wings, truffle fries and origami pizza. For 3 people who weren't hungry, there wasn't a crumb left! The USA vs Canada hockey game was on as well so there was a good mix crowd cheering on both teams. Can't wait to return!

Visited Maui Brewing Co. on a Wednesday night. It was busy but not overwhelmingly busy. The service was lacking big time. It took awhile to have a server greet us but I let it slide since we had children with us and it gave us time to decide what we wanted so we were ready to order when the server came to our table. We all ordered our food, drinks were delivered, food was delivered by runners but our server never came back. Sides and sauces were missing, drinks were empty. Had to flag down other servers for help. Like I said, it was busy and loud but not overwhelmingly busy that you couldn't check back on your tables. The next time we saw our server was when we needed the bill to pay. I was quite disappointed in the service but the food, when corrected, was good.

Checked out this local brewery. It certainly seems like a happening spot. Maui Brewing Company has a few locations including this one in Waikiki. A lot of room inside so it usually isn't crowded. The beer is better than the food but it's actually all good. Beers are the main things of course. It's got a pretty good variety to choose from. There's also a happy hour. Get better prices on beers and a few appetizers. It's about $9 at regular price for a pint. Kind of a lot but expected in an area that's full of tourists. Best one we had was the Big Swell. This is an IPA with citrus hops to appropriately make it tropical. It's about $9 for appetizers. We just got the Chips And Pico De Gallo. Pretty basic but good for absorbing alcohol. The rest of the menu features seafood like ahi, and burgers including a veggie burger if looking for healthy options. For sure it's a popular spot and if wanting to have beers instead of cocktails. It's located on Kalakaua Avenue in the Outrigger Waikiki Beachcomber Hotel. This is up a few floors after lots of steps but not as many as Diamond Head Lookout has thankfully.

superb service over at the bar on super bowl sunday. our bartender, kanchea was extremely attentive and cool!we were able to be seated last minute for free, which was amazing considering all the other bars were charging, even for standing. queso was a little chunkier than i would prefer, chips were freshly cooked, and beers were okay. this place is excellent for the service alone. they make you feel like royalty! plus the space is humongous. shaka brah !

I love the ambience and the food was amazing. The chicken wings w the huli huli sauce omg, incredible!!! Service 20/10 thanks for everything.
