Check out their pastrami sandwich on thursdays!!! Just wish they opened the dining area again for eat in during lunch time.

I'm not sure if we went too late right before closing or if this is what they serve. I got the mini pork cutlet. *See pictures. The meat was so hard and dry, and the breading was dry and hard. It was like they microwaved last weeks food, threw it on a bed of rice (no Mac salad), and added half a scoop of gravy. I paid $11.50 for this, and it's going straight into the trash. I can't even eat it. It's THAT bad. I tried biting a dozen pieces, spitting every piece out. I can't afford to break a tooth, and it's not even worth rushing a sore stomach. Gross!!!!Oh, and don't get fooled. Their prices have gone way up! Their regular plate is $15! Hubby ate the hamburger steak ($11.50), and he said it was OK. 1 small patty, some onions, rice, and half a scoop of gravy. It's pretty overpriced for what they give...

The best comfort food. Haven't been back here in like 20+ years but the place still looks the same minus the closed dining area. I got a combo Baked Spaghetti and the Baked Beans with Hotdog specials plus fried rice. Was ono (delicious)! Comfort food reminds me of hanabata days (small kid time). Got one kanak attack (fell asleep) after attempting to grind all of this massive plate lunch. Employees are nice. I think most of customers work in the area and walk there.

Only open on weekdays. Made time to go there and get there lunch options. They have set menu options each day during the weekday. Everything looks good! The food reminds me of school meals I used to have. Parking available.I got the Mini Pork cutlet $10.50~- Gravy with pork cutlet over rice. I'm so glad the gravy wasn't too salty. The pork was thin. I liked it!Great spot for cheap eats. I would come back to try other options!

This place is legit! I miss their dine in section because now it's only takeout and catering. Food here is yummy and great portions! Got their yummy double cheeseburger and fries, mini beef stew with rice, and mini Korean fried chicken. Me and my co-workers loved it. They also sell maki sushi, fried noodles, and baked goods here. Will be back again!

This is a review of their banquet hall.Just hosted a surprise retirement party for my Mom here.I've dined here throughout the years and the food speaks for itself. Time tested family recipes keep everyone coming back. This isn't some hidden gem but a family dynasty and a local favorite for generations here in Hawaii. This was my first time however hosting an event here. The level of customer service was just as excellent as their food. From beginning to end, all of my questions were answered and the event manager Anna was super helpful.In terms of affordability? They can't be beat. We booked a Sunday luncheon for our event and it was a minimum of 100 guests. I was extremely happy with the value we got with the delicious famous Ige's food and service we received. Also, beverages like water/juice and coffee were included. They also allowed us to bring outside pupus with NO additional charge. They did however require us to provide the paper plates and cutlery for the pupus, which we had no problem with. The staff made set up so easy. Tables were all covered and all we had to do was set up our decorations. Break down was just the same, with us only having to take down our decorations. In fact, we naturally were throwing away our own trash by habit but the staff were so kind enough to let us know that they will gladly do that for us. So so happy with the experience we had with Masa's Cafeteria. The place and food brought back so many happy memories for our guests of all ages. Everyone felt at home and felt so cozy. If you're looking for a laid back venue to host a party with genuine friendly customer service and legendary tasty food, please give this place a try.

My go to lunch spot when I'm in the Māpunapuna area. Large portions for a fair price.

Had a retirement party to attend and it was held a Masa's Cafeteria located in Mapunapuna . Lots of parking either on the street or they have a lot behind there cafeteria. The food was delicious from Potato Macaroni salad, rice, Chinese chicken salad, yakisoba noodles, spare ribs, shoyu pork, fried chicken, beef broccoli, mahi mahi and of course dessert Andagi donut. Congratulations to my friend Geno Oshiro retiring after 40years in the DOE . I can't believe anyone who can work that long and still have the energy that he has. Also I cannot see myself working that long if I could I would retire now LOL !!! But I got into the State late in my career so I got at least 10 more years to go . Masa's also serves plate lunches during the week day Mon-Fri so if your in the area support local their food is good

Shoyu chicken was Ono. Everyday they get different special food they serve but that shoyu chicken, majah ONO
