Medical care in Aiea, O'ahu, Hawaii...My aunty's doctor has an office on the third floor of Mary Savio Medical Plaza. I didn't notice this building where Elephant and Castle Restaurant used to be... a long time ago... on Kaahumanu Street. Anyway, I just used GPS to find the building. Aunty said that if I park on the 3rd level of the structure, there's a walkway that connects straight to the building. She was right! There's even a convenient lab on the ground floor of the building... yay!Inside, the directory and signs were helpful. The only downside was paying for parking. The doctor's office doesn't validate. There was a kiosk next to the elevator that accepted credit card payments. I'm glad that I paid before we returned to the car. The car in front of me had problems exiting... because they didn't pre-pay...

At 720am I was parked in the patient drop off for a couple minutes (to gather stuff in car for medical appt). A guy comes up to us and says "only Handi-Vans can park here" and tells us to find parking. Although there was several signs that says patient drop off. I then tell him I'm a patient, and I'm being dropped off. He then says "he's the bldg manager and I'm "telling" you to find parking. Wow. I guess I now have to find parking to be dropped off and now also possibly pay since they wanted us to find parking. Many times there are lines of vehicles to get out so that 15 min grace period can get passed..because of that. The oddest thing of the manager being so strict is there was a sign that said patient drop off and no sign that ONLY handicap vans are allowed. Seems like the the rule was made up that morning. There was also a white truck in one of the "drop off patient spots" that was parked before us and this morning it was parked for more than an hour. No patient in and it wasn't a "handi van or handi-truck". I was informed that the van was his. Go figure. If the truck is his or staffs, perhaps park in staff parking and not patient drop off parking. See pics. No

Found out who is responsible for keeping the Mary Savio Building so immaculately clean. Ran into the building manager named Steve recently during an appointment there. Steve said his team of the 3 of them - Ellie and Lorin (security) have been maintaining the Mary Savio Plaza for a good number of years. I could tell he took pride in his work along with Ellie who I always see cleaning, sweeping or wiping something. This may not be important to most people BUT the restroom is so well-kept that you won't even find a shred of toilet paper on the ground. I dread even walking into a public restroom. It's good to know there are people who care not only about their jobs BUT about the people and environment around them. Mahalo Steve and Team! Other people do notice too, I am sure.

This medical building is conveniently located in Aiea. Plentiful parking, although the parking structure is a bit odd in it's shape so a little hard to maneuver around. Parking is a flat rate, no validation needed, although a bit expensive at $4.

I used to come to this building for my dentist as a young adult. We are talking early 2000's. In my opinion, the building never was a fancy building. It was very basic. The only visible change is that they added a large parking structure. Today I brought my mom to an ortho appointment and went into the new parking structure. I was surprised by the cost. It's $4.00 with validation for 0-2 hours. WOW!!! I thought that was a big charge for a medical building in Aiea that seems dated and under maintained. I frequent Hale Pawa'a in town and don't even pay this much.

Whoa, parking is a mess but new structure under construction will yield over 400 additional parking! In the mean time, a shuttle service being offered where you can park at the Times Square overflow parking and you'll be given a ride. I was lucky enough to get a stall today, so I haven't used it yet. That was plan "B"

I received care here and I think it was very good. Easy to access location but the paid parking is ridiculous. Other than that the sleep study clinic is clean and the employees are nice.

Wow. Parking is a complete rip off, esp for not being in town or Waikiki. At least change it to 1 hour increments. 16 minutes will cost you the same as 1 hour and 59 minutes - $4 with validation!!
