Staycation in Waikiki, for the New Year 2025, oh YES please! Before MVC opened up for occupancy in October of 24, I would walk pass the Marriott Vacation Club during our walks in to Waikiki and was feeling so excited, to check out MVC. For 2025, most of the dates were already filled but luckily happen to check again and there was availability for January. It's finally happening- beyond grateful and doing my happy dance!! We walked in to Waikiki ( so convenient) to enjoy our staycation and opt out of the valet only parking, our vehicle. I believe it is $55. I rather explore Waikiki on foot since many of the businesses we plan to check out is nearby. You can park in the loading zone for 15 minutes on the right side of the entrance. Check in time is 4pm & I called that morning to see if early check in was available, we got a call at 2:30 that our room was ready. Checking in was a little confusing, once you enter the premises, on the valet side you will have to go to the 3rd floor which is the lobby to check in. Owner occupancy room tax comes out to $36.28 per night, highest I've paid, not sure if it is because location of Waikiki?! hehe. We got our room keys, no towel cards, pool towels are in your room and also at the pool if you need more. We stayed in a one bedroom villa, super nice, spacious and modern on the 7th floor Yes. the bathroom has those special toilets, Bidet, which was pretty cool. The shower has 3 options, bathtub, shower head, and hand head shower heads. Note. If you are looking for the bedding for the sofa bed it is located on the top cabinet of refrigerator. There is a water station on every floor and at the lobby, this came in handy for us. The charging devices for your smart phones are all up to date here in this room, I love that! Notes: Laundry facilities are located on 4th & 6th floor, Magic number for for MVC, is #8, The fun and good stuff is on the 8th floor, Malolo Pool Bar & Bites, Infinity Pool, Fire Pits, BBQ Grills, Fitness Center, and Owners Lounge. **Coffee is available at owners lounge from 6:30-10:00am and Sun Bum brand sun screen dispensers available at front of lounge. What we loved about our stay, creating memories, relaxing time, LOVE the Infinity pool which is on the rooftop, hanging out, catching up on watching "Squid Games" drinking, snacking, and walking around Waikiki for meals. MVC is located in the front of Waikiki, lots of new businesses nearby. Very convenient. Just one complaint I have is what happen to the jacuzzi?! I was looking forward to this, hopefully adding this one later to the 8th floor??? Would I stay here again? YES. if the timing, opportunity and availability works out, I can't wait for my next staycation. Let's "Live love and enjoy life, 2025 to its fullest Ya-all.!"

First stay in this beautiful new hotel. We were booked in the one bedroom, double bed suite. The layout and decor is wonderful and the kitchen is well appointed. My husband is obsessed with bidets, so we were very excited when we found out the bathroom came with one. My daughter said the pull out couch was super comfy. They were working out the kinks during check in, but the staff was super friendly and helpful. Laundry room on our floor is awesome and they have filtered still and sparkling water available by the elevator. Ice for days in a separate drawer in the room fridge. Great location, especially with Dean & DeLuca next door :). We will definitely be back!

On the one hand, I despise time shares. On the other hand, I booked this as if it were a hotel room and politely declined the time share tours, meetings, and gifts. Refreshingly, I was not hassled by the sales people! I stayed in a one bedroom suite with two double beds. The main room has a kitchenette, dining area, huge TV, and sofa. The bathroom is large too. I am throughly enjoying my stay here. The pool deck has a view across the park to the ocean, where we saw whales spouting one February morning.I will definitely stay here again because the room rate was very reasonable for what you get, and the location -- although not on the beach -- is great. Easy walking to everything we wanted to do, convenient Lyft or Da Bus rides to Chinatown and downtown Honolulu.

Relaxing, accomodating and so fresh & so clean! Our recent stay at Marriott Vacation Club was truly special! From the moment we arrived, I was so impressed by the immaculate cleanliness of the hotel. The hotel's Mele Kalikimaka decor added that local island touch, making our stay even more special. The staff were incredibly accommodating and consistently friendly (especially Uncle Richard at the bell desk), going above and beyond to ensure our comfort. We can't wait to plan our next visit!
