We enjoy coming here. Food is good and service is excellent. Plenty parking too. Only downside is bread is not all you can eat, at most Italian restaurants they are. We were a party of 10 and they gave us 2 little loafs to share. Definitely not enough for 10 people. Also bar menu pupus are not available at the restaurant. My chicken Marsala is my go to. Love it

My friends and i thought about coming here for some pizza, maybe HH if we got there on time, someplace to wine down after a long day of work. Mangiamo was convenient that it was nearby where we were at. The restaurant is open to the public with a beautiful view of the golf course. Parking was easy, and free! Wait time to get a table was easy too. They also have a live wait time here on Yelp! Reservations were easy on Yelp as well! We got checked in on the 2nd floor and were brought to our table outside that overlooked the beautiful sunset through the golf course along with the live music infront of us. Now for the real thoughts of Mangiamo. We waited about 30 minutes JUST TO GET WATER. We had to ASK for water too. It was difficult to have a or our server Erin notice us. Looks like she took another tables order even though they arrived AFTER us. We got lucky to have one of the staff bring us bread. The staff was apologetic. Although, multiple sorries are not enough to make up the terrible service being received. It's unfortunate to have waited a total of 40 minutes just for us to call it quits with this restaurant. We were patient however our time is valuable. We don't like to waste our evening going hungry. We were already ready to order our drinks and our food. We were ready to give them our business. I don't know if it's an understaffing issue but it didn't look like an issue when another server was handling 5 plates stacked on her shoulder and served it to a party of 10+. Also, side note, The apologetic staff member was Verbatim "I'm unqualified" to take our order. I understand there's a difference between positions however, that was a such wrong answer lol. It would've been better if he just offered to bring our actual (and qualified) server to take our order. We were excited to try Mangiamo but i don't know if we're ever going to be back. Our table was abandoned even though other staff noticed us. so we went to Ruby Tuesdays instead (follow up review with RT coming soon!).

The best thing about this place is the view. We come here to golf and hit balls often. Finally decided to come here for a early Sunday dinner. A five minute wait turned into 45 minutes. Then when we finally sat down there was not a server insight. Finally after 11 minutes we had someone come and give us all waters. We decided to order immediately. The bread that was free and provided was cold and hard to break apart and not getting napkins or silverware as we sat down made that more difficult to enjoy. Our kids received their food first. No silverware. Couldn't find anyone to give us silverware. So we had to get up and find someone to give us some. Our server came with our food and we never saw her again. We are here right now and praying for the bill now. Our plan is to hand her the card without looking at the receipt where we can go ahead and leave. The Alfredo is absolutely awful. No flavor. Whoever makes it, Please taste it. If you think it's good, please have someone else taste it and help us all out. I am begging you. The spaghetti was decent. The chicken marsala...... noodles were over cooked. The sauce was so thin that it didn't coat the noodles. You needed spoon to get the sauce in your mouth after you got your noodles in. Marsala is supposed to be the flavor. Unfortunately didn't taste it at all. The chicken wasn't crispy. It tasted drenched in the oil they fried it in and it tasted as if it sat the pan cooling or atop of cutting board for about ten minutes before plated on my plate. We will never come here again and it's unfortunate because we live close and felt happy about having an Italian place around the corner. We are better going go Olive Garden at-least it is consistent.Also go read my other reviews. I am rarely negative and rarely tell anyone who reads my reviews to take caution. But please take caution. Maybe they had a "off" night but the flavors lacked and just basic tasting profiles were not there along with the service.

Creamy risotto bites. Yum. If that's all that was on the menu, all would be ok. Had drinks at the bar (old 19th puka). Shayla was super friendly & quick with our drinks. Manager Christina runs a tight & efficient ship! Employees are smiling! Large round tables with comfy chairs, long table seating against the wall & roughly a dozen seats at the bar itself. The chopsticks are re-useable! When you're done using them, slip em back into the sleeve they came with. Take em home, wash em & voila!

It was my first time dining here. It's located at Navy Marine Golf Course. There's ample parking to the right as you enter, parking to the left for the golfers just hitting balls and I did see more parking if you drive past the building of where the restaurant is in. The restaurant is located in the 2nd floor of the main building. The host greeted me, but told her I was meeting some friends and wanted to sit at the bar while I wait for them. I looked over the menu and ordered one of their happy hour drinks. I can't remember the name of it though. Inside the lights were a bit dim, but the natural lighting came in from outside helped. This venue is very simple, nothing real fancy. You can dress casually to dine here. Live music was playing this evening that I went, which was on a Tuesday. So they may have live music on other evenings as well.I had the chicken Marsala and creamy risotto. I looked over the menu and also pictures on Yelp earlier in the day to get an idea of what I might want to eat. I read reviews and this entree had some good reviews. Interestingly enough, 3 out of the 4 of us ordered the same thing. The creamy risotto bites were good! No one else wanted so I took home whatever was left. The Chicken Marsala was a winna! I enjoyed my meal with good company and would definitely go back to try another pasta dish of theirs. We decided to sit outside so we'd have a view of the golf course, which was really nice. Don't wanna wait in line at restaurant 604? (which almost always has a wait). Go here instead! It's only 7 minutes away and is a hidden gem! (We actually learned about this restaurant thanks to the hostess at restaurant 604 when we didn't want to wait 45 minutes to eat lunch). I now have been there several times. My first time was after I picked up some friends from the airport who were starving, and a little bit picky, But you can't go wrong with pasta and Italian food!They have such good food, great cocktails and a beautiful outdoor dining experience overlooking the golf course. Staff are always friendly. I've been there several times and it's always good. The creamy risotto bites melt in your mouth - a soft crispy (not quite sure how to describe it) outside and a light tasty inside. I thought they were arancini and maybe this is just a different name that they use ... not sure the difference but I like these better than any arancini I've ever had .sometimes arancini are heavy, these these are not. A must try. Their server told me they make spam themed ones for the SPAM festival, but these don't have Spam. They have all kinds of pasta as well. The pasta creations they have on the menu are delicious, but they also have a "Create Your Own" pasta option, where you choose your own pasta, sauce and can add on a protein. We had the basil fresco cocktail. Amazing a perfectly light refreshing cocktail on a hot day on the lanai. It has passionfruit rum, fresh basil, and . I think also sparkling water. It reminded me of a Mojito. This cocktail has lilikoi (passion fruit) , which makes anything better, in my opinion.Go check this place out. It's such a nice beautiful outdoor peaceful vibe. If you want dining with a view and a breeze, you won't be disappointed. They also have indoor dining area but I love the second floor lanai (covered porch) dining the most.

My girlfriends and I had dinner here. Jong, our server, was THE BEST! He was so attentive and accommodating. He deserves a raise! The food was so good too! Had the braised short ribs. It was tasty and so tender. The live entertainment was really good too! We'll be back soon!

Food was very meh. I did appreciate the $5.00 mimosa. But other than that there's nothing too spectacular here. Chairs aren't comfortable and doesn't match the height to the table... it's kinda lower. If the menu improved and there was different chairs this place would make a killing.

I arranged and attended a work lunch here. It was a good venue for that because of the ample parking, room for a good number of tables (both indoor and outdoor), and selection of food.If your party is larger than 5 people, you will need to contact the restaurant to make the reservation; otherwise you can reserve on Open Table. When I called, I ended up needing to leave a message and did not receive a call back for a couple of days, but the person I spoke with was very nice.I had the meat lovers lasagna which was not bad. I am interested to try other menu items.Service was very good.
