I hope this place stays here forever because it's so cute and it's so yummy. Came here first thing in the morning right when they opened and ordered the strawberry. Gotta figure out a way to order in bulk because I'd love to share these with others. It's so light, fluffy and just the right amount of sweetness

Well I always passed by this place but never stopped by. Located inside the food court next to Macy's in Ala Moana. Mana Sandwiches since I'll be going to Japan soon I had to try their Egg sandwich. My Yelp buddy Paul .C said while in Japan need to try their Egg Sandwich (Sando) . So for lunch today I purchased an egg sandwich and to be honest I can make a better egg sandwich at home lol . Of course it's no comparison to Japan of course. Can't wait to have an Egg Sando while in Japan so I have something to compare it to . Service here at Mana sandwich was ok the cashier wasn't that pleasant and friendly. At least I tried and experienced it but wouldn't go back

Mana Sandwiches had a lot in stock around 2pm on a Tuesday, but almost sold out on 5pm the previous Thursday. Seems much better to go for late lunch than dinner. I got the koppepan chicken karage and it was okay. The chicken wasn't that crispy or crunchy as expected. Overall everything was okay, worth trying at least once!

I didn't have high hopes for Mana Sandwiches because I've had a fruit sandwich in Japan before and didn't think highly of it. But because of that, I only got savory sandwiches here instead of the sweet options. And oh my lord, I can't wait till the day I can come back for their sandwiches. To say the mushroom katsu sandwich is delicious is an understatement; it's literally the best sandwich I've ever had. If you've ever had the shroom burger at Shake Shack, it's a bit like that but simplified and without the oozy cheese. The quality of the mushroom was also top-tier. The ham and egg sandwich is also recommendable but not as good as the mushroom katsu sandwich or the egg salad sandwiches at Japan convenience stores. The egg is like egg salad, fyi. It's probably better if you go earlier rather than later in the day because they already sold out some of the sandwiches by the time I went at 2 pm. The staff was very friendly and knowledgeable. I felt bad because I asked for recommendations but didn't end up getting any of their recs, haha.

We had heard about their strawberry sandwiches and other goodies. We went in while vacationing in Waikiki and happened upon it at a food court. We thought-Why not try one....they were good! But, I think a bit over hyped- supposedly the strawberry's were supposed to be fabulous- they tasted no different than strawberry's I get on the mainland. So, basically a strawberry cream cheese sandwich. Good but not the WOW factor I was hoping for. Still a good snack, staff was friendly as well.

It Was Love at First Sight (lol)While strolling through The Lanai, I was immediately drawn to the soft serve cone that was held by the young boy who passed in front of me.I looked up at the menu board of Mana Sandwiches and spotted kona coffee soft serve, two things that I love. I was determined to save "space" for kona coffee soft serve. When I went to order, I saw kona coffee affogato, which immediately spoke to my coffeeholic heart! Thoroughly enjoyable and good to the last drop!Mana Sandwiches is located next to Brug Bakery in The Lanai on mall level of Ala Moana Center, next to Macy's. Go check it out!

At first I was very skeptical about this place bc of the prices but I'd been traversing between Hi-Tea Cafe and the Steak place on the other side and finally gave in when I saw their 40% sale one evening.I read a bunch of helpful Yeep reviews and couldn't help get taken in by Paul C.'s review about this place. When faced with having to select which flavor sandos I wanted, I couldn't help but buy more than a few! So I started asking questions about the ingredients. What made it even a better prospect is their mayo is not made with toxin-filled petroleum-based American mayo, a definite plus. Also, I avoid anything processed so keep this in mind *Sandos - Which ones did I like? Literally, * ALLLLLLL of them. From the tonkatsu to the portobello mushroom to the egg salad.Drinks - One day a woman was holding a fresh strawberry milk drink. She said I need to try it so I did. YUM!!!Soups - So far, the soups are fantastic. My favorite so far is the clam chowder and the corn chowder. I only wish the container were much larger for the price.Strawberries - Once a year at end of the year, they import fresh strawberries straight from Japan. There are two types, the smaller tart/sweet and the little larger mostly sweet. These strawberries are quite expensive but considering that ppl in Japan will pay $50 for just ONE jumbo asian pear, I guess this strawberry situation is not so bad. When I spent $50, I got a free "Mana Sandwiches" cooler tote. So cool. Thank you!! When the time comes, put your order in before they sell out. They are a definite must try.Discount card - Sign up for an account and get a $5 discount every so often (sorry, at the moment, I don't remember the redemption scale).Friendly staff - They are willing to answer any of your questions and explain what goes into their product. This place is worth a try! Don't forget if you want a better deal, go in the later evenings (maybe 6-7pm or so; you can call to ask what time this will be that evening) when their sandwiches are 40% off.Thank you, Paul C., for your recommendation!!

Mana Sandwiches is situated within The Lanai food court, second level of Ala Moana Center, across from Macy's. They replaced Da Spot a few months back, serving Japanese sandos - fruit and cream, katsu, among others- soft serve and various drinks. They also offer Japanese strawberries, Tochiotome and Amarin varieties, for sale. The Amarin are pricey...I like strawberries, but I don't love them. I've had a mixed fruit sando - all bread served are from Brug Bakery - pineapple, strawberry, kiwi, and orange. It was quite good.Strawberry , strawberry sauce, and oreo parfait was also good. This afternoon, I picked up a Portobello Mushroom Katsu Sando along with an iced caramel latte. The latter was average. The former, I will save for dinner. I still need to try their Strawberry Milk as strawberries are what Mana Sandwiches are known for...imported from Japan...farm to table.Prices are a bit much...it is AMC after all.

I know this place is known for their sandwiches and they are basically like an extension of Brug, but the soft serve was extremely good! I really enjoyed the coffee soft serve I got! I really want to go back and try their other dessert items. It's hard finding soft serve options in the mall, so definitely go here if you're craving ice cream. Lol
