Mama Js Cafe

My husband says these are the best açaí bowls he's had on the island. And everytime he's close by he finds himself here getting one. And I can see why he says that because these are simple but sooo good. Now Mama Js Cafe is easy to miss being it is just in a small little food trailer behind the DEERS building but it is a gem and produces these açaí bowls, coffees and even sandwiches that taste so good. Yesterday we had to stop by to look into getting a newer ID card at the DEERS building so off course it was only right that we stopped at Mama Js after for a light breakfast. They offer sandwiches, avocado toast and had some muffins but we all went with açaí bowls. My son went with a mango juice which was huge. And I decided to go with a chai latte as well it was the perfect temperature and tasted really good one of the better ones I've had in life for sure. It is nice that being on post they still have good food options that are reasonably priced. And the owner too was so sweet I can't wait to go back for more açaí bowls and chai lattes.

Love everything here, Açaí bowls are awesome. Super friendly staff. Located in back of the Soldier Support Center.

I've never had an Acai bowl before moving here, so coming here I'm hooked on these bowls. It's in the cut literally but the customer service and efficient. I'll definitely return.

It was a really hot day so I had an acai bowl, an iced mocha and a grilled chicken croissant. All was the best ever! Really everything was so ono (delicious) I will return. If you are working or living on Schofield Airforce base drop in. The owner Mama J is a friendly person that obviously loves to serve others. Her cart is a little hard to find as it is tucked behind the Soldier Support Center on Avery. You can't see it from the road. Don't give up it is worth the search.

Great food, coffee, service and it's fast!Outdoor seating, everything is super fresh. Had the chicken pesto on ciabatta bread with avocado, melted provolone and cherry tomatoes.. wow was it good. Also had one of their cold caramel macchiatos.. very well done. Worth the time to stop by and grab a healthy and delicious lunch. Its located right next to SATO TRAVEL behind the main building.

Friendly service and good spot to sit and enjoy your purchase. Fast and delicious coffees and food. The açaí bowl was amazing!

I love Mama Js! The service was top notch, and Jen was so personable and wonderful! Our food and coffee was absolutely delicious...we will for sure be back! As civilians the little cafe is a bit hard to find on the base, but well worth the effort of searching it out! Thank you for a great experience all the way around, Mama J!
