You gotta love cheap, grocery store, high a quality poke. Thats what this is all about. I wish I took a picture but I was starving and the taste was immaculate so I went inI got the spicy ahi and spicy salmon combo. Star was super friendly but a tad bit slow

The market is down the road from us and convenient when buying one or two items or picking up a Musubi to go. Disappointed in their pricing and not removing sales tags that were a few days old.In middle of baking and discovered we needed a little more sugar. Took a trip down to Malama Market, I knew they are more they Walmart but didn't realize how much more.First of all, I picked the 4 lb bag that was the lowest price based on the tag on the shelf. Clerk rang up it was a bit more than advertised. I said that it was on sale according to tag. She went an looked, brought tag back, oh that sale ended a couple days ago, see red line it's being removed tonight. Like I am suppose to know what a red line means or notice the small print. If it's no longer on sale you remove the sale tag. Not to mention their regular pricing on the sugar is more than twice the price as Walmart.I like to support local businesses but am not willing to cut into my own budget to do so.The positives about market it is closer to our home, not as crowded, nice produce department although more expensive, nice deli area, grab and go Musubi, fairly reasonable price. That being said I will probably head further down the hill in future.

This market is in a small plaza, right next to a coffee bean and tea leaf. Honestly, only times I've ever been here is for the poke. The poke, in my opinion, is one of the best on the island. I really like the Korean style and I always order it whenever I stop by here. The workers have always been quick with getting my poke and when completing my transaction. It's a smaller grocery store but from what I've seen, there's still a lot of variety in what they carry. And it's always been clean whenever I've gone.

Such a nice small and friendly place. Love, love the poke bow! My favorite was the spicy ahi poke with rice and they put this sauce on it, makes it simply mouth watering! The parking is very limited.

Malaga market is the place to go when you want to find Fresh produce on the shelves!! Their deli station is awesome, once I went and they were selling prime rib :) I didn't go for prime rib but because it was there and looked as if it just came out of the oven I had to get it!! I had a positive and friendly experience with Each of the employees I've had to interact with!!

My newest favorite place to buy poke. The poke guy knows what he is doing as you can tell he cares about his food. But the fried chicken guy doesn't do a good job as the chicken I bought was too dry but tasty.

Stores really convenient to have and the workers are very kind. It's short by a star because of the people that don't know how to park or know where they need to park! Throw trash in the trash! Not on the ground! Otherwise a great place

Convenience at its finest. They are Always well stocked. Workers are always helpful and friendly. Decent size section of produce. Meat and poultry a little small but good enough for last minute pickups. They have a pretty good selection of Beer and wine. I find what I'm looking for most of the time. Poke is one of the best. They run out fast of the good stuff, especially peak hours, around 2pm-5pm and weekends.

Hands down one of the best poke places on the island. It's in a grocery store-so don't expect it to be a sit down restaurant, etc. Also, prices are very reasonable compared to other poke places. Definitely stop by/visit if in the area.

Truly a treasure! Kapolei has a lot of places to buy groceries, but Malama is hands down MY FAVORITE!!! The deli, produce, meat & seafood selections are always so fresh, and their friendly, helpful staff is always there to help you find what you need. Their cooked foods are also yummy, especially the whole chicken they offer. Tasty, indeed! They also have the tastiest, fresh poke! And, my favorite cashier Jeannie is there to ensure my shopping experience is a great one.To those with comments about parking - try to slow down. The parking isn't any different than parking at Safeway, Walmart, Costco or Foodland. In fact, it's actually better at Malama.
