The day of our wedding was PERFECT, no really it was. Everyone tells you that on the day of your wedding it won't be perfect so don't have any high expectations. But, for us it was the perfect day, the perfect celebration; thanks to Merrissa. She took care of every minute, every detail, and any mishap so that we didn't have to. The day was so well planned and organized that we were able to enjoy and live in every moment and just have fun!At our rehearsal, Merrissa shared with everyone a detailed "action plan" so that everyone in the wedding party and our families knew what was going on. This alleviated any worries or concerns because everything was clearly communicated to everyone involved. Merrissa is such an expert at what she does that she will even foresee things that you wouldn't have even thought of or planned for. And, she is so well connected with vendors that the problem will be solved in no time at all. For example, we didn't plan that our ceremony site didn't provide a sound system for us; Merrissa caught it and immediately went to work on securing someone who could provide the service for us.

Who knew planning a wedding would be a second job? My husband and I definitely had no clue what we were getting ourselves into! After confirming a venue, photographer, videographer & florist, we thought we were done and the rest would come easy. However, we were SO wrong! The details and coordination were definitely the hardest and most time consuming tasks.We were so lucky that our emcee, Devon Nekoba, referred us to Merrissa Uchimura from Make It Memorable Weddings and Events. Merrissa has a wonderful personality and immediately connected with us. We knew from our first meeting that we wanted to hire her. Merrissa was always there for us and was always accessible via phone, text message, and email. Due to Merrissa's expertise and experience, she always had great advice on everything we asked her--from the color of tuxedos to wedding etiquette! Most importantly she was always there for us during those stressful, crazy, emotional wedding planning moments! For our ceremony rehearsal and the actual day of, Merrissa was just beyond awesome. I seriously do not know what we would have done without her. She blew me away at how great she was at coordinating and conducting our rehearsal and how well she got along with our families, officiant, and wedding party. Although she has many strong assets, I believe one that stands the comprehensive timeline she creates! For the day of, our entire day went by smoothly, ran on time or even early. Who knew that was possible? I honestly thought I would be so stressed on the day of, but it turned out to be the exact opposite. Merrissa took all my worries away and allowed me to enjoy the entire day and capture many special memories with my husband. She took care of everything from the vendors, the flowers, favors, our offsite photography and videography shoot, set up of our check-in table and ballroom, coordination with the hotel....she had everything under control. Words cannot express how thankful we are...Merrissa helped make our dream wedding a reality!
