I had family members and friends who were Make-A-Wish recipients who are now deceased. They are so friendly and welcoming. I always donate during the holidays for Giving Tuesday because they did so much for my family members and friends when they were alive by granting their wishes to go to Walt Disney World. They have great service and I always help them during the holidays with fundraisers at the Kroc Center or Waioli Kitchen. Make a Wish pays for everything no matter how complex or multifaceted a child's wish may be. I am forever grateful for this organization. I even granted a child's wish to do a cosplay fundraiser with my agency the Department of the Attorney General as an assistant director of the SPID unit.

Having to be a cancer survivor Make A Wish Hawai'i is just something special. No one can understand when a diagnosis is given how it can impact everything you thought to be simple and Make A Wish brings hope to a child and that power of their spirit is lifted to believe.I love the Jingle Rock Run in the past with the course that takes you through Downtown which the perfect way to see all the beautiful Holiday lights though with the current pandemic is now a Jingle Rock Ride and we all stay in our cars and drive by suggested neighborhoods to view the lights in safe distances. Then stop by Cutter Chevrolet more more festive fun.Support or kids by donating!!

Great place filled with great people! They raise money and help children that have been diagnosed with serious or terminal illness. Parking is truly the only negative.

This review is not so the much the organization but more about the person who recently took over their volunteer position. Glen, I believe his name is. He takes forever to reply to email inquiries or never replies all together when I'm interested in volunteering for certain events from their weekly Wednesday email. It's was much easier before!

My husband and I were going to donate to this chapter a few months ago and after meeting the CEO and having a conversation with her for about 30 minutes, we chose to donate to another children's organization. In my opinion she came across very "elitist" something I wouldn't expect from a CEO at a nonprofit. I was more interested in hearing about the kids than her. It could have been just an awkward conversation or maybe I read the situation wrong but didn't get a great vibe. I would just recommend meeting her first, if you are considering making a large donation and judge for yourself.
