This was the cutest gift shop I found in Honolulu! The store owners were incredibly sweet and friendly, greeting my friends and I as soon as we entered.This shop has the best selection of Hawaiian apparel I have seen after entering at least 7 different souvenir shops. You can find floral dresses, t-shirts, purses, and even these shorts that say 'Hawaii'. These shorts were a must as I had a pair of these before and they were really popular souvenirs last time so I had to buy them this time as well! Along with having a great clothing selection, they also carry name plates with names in Japanese which was a first in any shop I've seen so far! I really loved walking through this shop because there was so much to see and look at. They price things incredibly well, and have such a pretty in store display.The friendliness of the store owners made this such a wonderful place to visit, and I would recommend this shop to anyone looking for souvenirs here in Honolulu. The clothing selection is unbeatable, and much nicer than other stores. You can tell this store takes pride in both its service and products made available to customers. The quality of their products is really nice, and everyone who works here is offering help and a friendly greeting. Definitely one to visit when seeking a great souvenir shop! And how cute are these shorts? I've searched high and low for these shorts and this is the only shop I've found that carries them.Thank you for being so welcoming on my recent visit! After spending almost a week n wasting money buying so many handmade Facemasks that were poorly made, the fabric is amazing n the design so beautiful but it's just not fitted properly, it made me look ridiculous. I went to all the stores n department stores along Kalakaua n Kuhio even in Ala Moana center, finally I got to Makai, by the way it's not an outlet just a nice clothing store w a lot of souvenirs for tourists, most and soon all the souvenirs store on Kuhio got thrown out to make room for more high riser hotels.Makai happened to be the name of the Hawaiian restaurant we got married in so I had positive vibes walking in!I tried one on n it fitted so comfortably I bought 4 more, I'm going back to buy 4 more for all my relatives n neighbors. I love plumerias n having them on my face just lifted my spirit during this horrible pandemic . I must add that they were all handmade in Hawaii not made in China and it was only $5.99 vs $7.95 everywhere else, I might even buy a dress to support local businesses even if I already have 12 Hawaiian mumus! A solid 5 stars, you'll find everything you need here.

Excellent choice of clothes. Did all my souvenir shopping here after visiting other stores. KO the owner extremely friendly and very honest. She super helpful helping me find the right shirts and dresses and other gadgets. Next time I go back for sure shopping here again.

Very nice owners. Negotiable on jewelry which was very nice. They had a noce variety of things. I bought clothing I couldn't find at swap meet.

First stop this morning as we waited for the Honolulu Zoo to open. We stepped in and was greeted by Ko with the sweet spirit of Aloha. We picked up beautiful dresses and colorful wraps for our daughters. I picked up a nostalgic Primo t-shirt. Very cool. Nice variety of items to choose from and great customer service. Mahalo!

I wish I could give "0" star on this shop. The women in the shop was very very very rude. I can't even explain how terrible her behaviour was. When we were checking the shirts to buy, she kept giving us the look that we are making a mess. I was very careful when I was looking at the shirts so she doesn't have to fold it. I wish nobody goes there to shop. Very bad customer service.

My daughter bought a great sweatshirt. When she got home, her mom wanted one. Called Billy Li and he said he could ship to Virginia. I sent a FedEx and a few days later, during the Xmas rush, it was here. Thanks so much Billy!! Mahaolo

This shop is one of the best souvenir shops! Cute things, great quality and good prices!! After returning home from my trip I regretted not getting some more keychains from this store that were super cute and I had not seen them anywhere else, I gave Billy a call and he was so nice and kind enough to send them all the way to Arizona for me!! I will definitely make a return visit to this store on my next trip to Hawaii!! Thanks again Billy!

This place has everything and anything you need to take as a souvenirs. The dress selection is amazing for women It's walking distance to the beach

I went in there looking for a cool t-shirt before I leave Hawaii and the lady working in the front started following me the moment I got there for absolutely no reason. I went over to look at other keychains and she kept popping up in front of me in such a rude way. It is extremely rude and unprofessional to be doing that. It makes you not want to buy anything at all from there.
