Makahoa pizza

Amazing pizza. Objectively great pizza - would be good in NYC. GO HEREWe stayed at turtle bay and took the bus.

Oh wow lau lau! this pizza was the bomb! Drinking at the BEER GARDEN and ordered the pizza that had Ricotta and mushroom! So F*#%n good!

Great thin crust style pizza in the Kahuku Sugarmill. Right across from Kahuku Beer Garden! Pizza and beer what could be better?!? A variety of pre-chosen or make your own pizzas. Big enough to share! I tried the mean green for the first time. The hot honey makes it! Fast service. Be prepared to pay with cash or Venmo. They can often deliver to you at the Beer Garden if you choose to sit there, although they do have picnic seating out front. Local owned! Give it a try!

Found this gem while driving along the north shore, pizza was cooked perfectly. Reminded us of NY style pizza. Thin and crispy crust. Staff was super friendly and even threw in an extra slice because the whole pizza hit the side of the oven. (I couldn't tell there was anything wrong with it.) Must try when in the area for sure!

Overall it was good. Service was amazing, location is convenient. We would go back when in the area.

There are few actual restaurant open for dinner on a weekend in Laie, and you'll be most likely going to a food truck. I was quite excited to try this pizza truck after seeing the good reviews online. Ordering was simple--they only take cash or venmo (there's an extra fee for venmo). The pizza is made fresh however it takes about an hour so you'll need to camp out nearby. Leave a phone number and they will text you when it's ready. And honestly----I was blown away by how good the pizza was--fresh ingredients, nice thin crust NY style. Hard to believe this came out of a food truck. The wait is a little bit annoying but it's worth it, and the portions are huge! It lasted my family 2 meals.

Service is great and pizza is always really good! I love that they are open from Weds-Sat as well-key days!

It was Sunday and there weren't many places open so we decided to try Makahoa. I ordered a slice of the cheese and the slice of the day (margherita). I thought it was just okay. My friends ordered a full size pizza of the Hawaiian and Jefferoni. My friends said they loved both pizzas. However, the crust was dry on theirs and mine. The staff was very sweet. They gave my friend the wrong pizza and were quick to fix it. They only accepted cash or Venmo, which isn't as convenient as square but we made it work! However, OPEN ON SUNDAY which is great!

The BEST Pizza Place in KAHUKU! Fresh ingredients every time. Everything tastes so ono. Great service each time always friendly. Conveniently located. We get the Canadian Bacon + Mushrooms for one pie and then the Garlic and Greens for our second pie (feeds our family of 8 to be perfectly full). We love having a pizza place in Kahuku that is locally owned to support.

Amazing! Check this place out if you are in the North Shore. Drive in from Honolulu. Got some groceries from Foodland and ordered our pizza. We had time to watch the sunset and then picked up our pizza before going to our rental. It DID NOT DISAPPOINT! The owner is so friendly and made sure we tried the hot honey sauce. The pizza brought us back to the East Coast! Yum!
