Mahoes food truck was one of five vendors at this year's May day concert on the Bishop Museum grounds. On this occasion the Mahoes did truck was only offering four different plates. We decided on one each of the Kalua Pig nachos and Chili nachos. Both of the small containers had a good amount of Kalua/Chili plus cheese.Overall not bad finger food to munch on while enjoying fabulous music and a drink. I'm sure they have much more to offer, might try them again in the future.3.5 Stars round to 4

New food truck to the west side of the island located in the Hawaiian Homestead up Nanakuli Avenue, you can't miss it its a white food truck with a bright green banner. Business hours are 5:00am-1:00pm and they serve breakfast from open till closing, and they also have a daily special menu, local lunch plates, and the usual hamburger, cheeseburger, and grill cheese. Although their daily special menu does change frequently maybe a new menu every week or so. The prices are awesome it's anything from $2.00-$9.00 so it's totally worth it and the food all taste delicious! And did I forget to mention they have a Acai Bowl which is made with local Anahola Granola and honey with bananas and blueberries. Smoke meat fried rice are also a winner, can't seem to get enough...Everything is so far so good!

This review is from the Waikiki street fair, February 2016. While standing in line, there were sample plates on display for patrons to view what the dishes look like. Appetizing, so it seemed. I bought 3 plates from them (2 kalua pork and 1 seared ahi) and spent a total of $29. When I reached the area where my party was at and opened the container, there was just the meat and rice in all 3 plates! Seriously? How do you just give your customers meat and rice for $9 and $11? What happened to the salad? I can understand if you didn't bring enough to accommodate the crowd of people served, but why should people have to pay full price when you don't give them everything as advertised? Terrible. Never going to give this place business again. Rip off!

According to everyone who has gotten food from here it was BOMB.COM mines? Not so much. I had the laulau that was dry and tasteless. The portion was T worth the amount of money that we paid for it. The salad was bleh. I just would never order food from them again no matter how hungry I am.
