Maguro Spot

Best meal I've had in Waikiki. Fresh sushi lots of toppings. Super friendly service. Def get the large. I had the Tuna w Shrimp; half brown rice and half sushi rice; avocado & seaweed toppings plus others. Cashier gave good advice about the sauce combo (spicy mayo + jalapeño shoyu). Small seating space outdoors-- beware of feral chickens. All in all: loved it.

I've missed out on this spot when I lived here prior, so I made an effort to come on this visit. I was sad they were out of Toro, but the local fatty tuna was OUTSTANDING!I came just as sunset was ending and a few minutes later the line was out the door!4 stars only because I saw my food on the counter for a good 5+ minutes. She looked at it multiple times but waited for more orders to be available before calling my number.

Maguro is one of the freshest and most delicious poke spots Ive ever tried. I would highly recommend this little hole in the wall.This place is super small with no indoor accommodations. The inside fits roughly 5-7 people indoor at a time, just enough to order.But despite the long lines, they are very efficient. The entire process of ordering and receiving my food was around 15 minutes total. As for the food they provide premade bowl options but I wanted to customize my own. They source their tuna and blue marlin everyday fresh from the local market so I got those as my base along with seaweed salad, ginger, edamame all on top of brown rice. The sauce I chose however was Hawaiian style, which added some fresh kelp to the bowl which was absolutely perfect. Tasted straight out of the ocean.Would highly recommend this place if you're in the surrounding area and def come prepared to wait and order. One last note is they do have outdoor seating on the side of their restaurant that you can at least dine at.

It was quite busy during Sunday lunchtime but the line moved quickly. We got a large bowl with combo mix. Wait to get food wasn't too bad; probably 10 minute wait. It was a good bowl, but didn't really taste the shoyu or spicy mayo. I'd try again.

Ordered the Rainbow bowl in a medium ($13.50), which was their smallest available size for this bowl. This came with tuna, salmon, and blue marin, white rice, soaked in their special rainbow sauce (spicy mayo & teriyaki mix), topped with cucumber, edamame, and seaweed salad. Overall this was delicious. Lines may be a bit long, but moves relatively quick. Service is super friendly.

I stopped in Maguro spot one night for dinner. Most likely there will be a line, but it's worth the wait.I ordered the salad with spicy tuna. I loved that the salad came with fun toppings, mine had asparagus and a macadamia nut.I ordered the large size salad, but found it to be on the lighter side. If you're hungry, I would consider ordering additional poke on the side.

THE BEST POKE YOU'LL EVER HAVE IN YOUR LIFE! The reviews were not wrong about this place - so good I went twice in 1 week! I usually never get raw tuna in my poke in the mainland and I guess I accidentally said tuna when I meant salmon but it changed my life. It was SO fresh and I've never had tuna poke that melted in your mouth! They use tuna and I believe another fish that is fresh caught morning of and wow you can taste the difference. So many protein and topping options, also give them a follow on insta to get 1 topping free from their list of options for the deal. I got a mix of the raw fish the second time around and it was amazing - plus they were opened on Christmas! Line moves fast but it can be long. Outdoor seating on the side of the building, some large tables that can seat 6 so perfect for larger families or groups. Gotta love supporting local businesses! Highly recommend to anyone traveling in Waikīkī

Poke bowls are always a must when visiting Hawaii. This place was excellent. There were a lot of options to choose from and the service was fast. There is seating outside next to the restaurant. Food tasted perfect!

Excellent spot for fresh poke. Caught the day of and you can taste it. I had a small tuna and it was delicious. This is a must when near.

Best poke in the world. That simple. Service was amazing and quick, although there are long lines sometimes. There have tons of seating as well, but again, could get crowded during lunch hours. Highly recommend!
