Just an update to my previous review. I inadvertently put it under the Fort Street Mall location whereas it should have appeared under 1003 Bishop Street. Also, since I prefer to support local businesses, I decided to purchase one of the few items left after the lunch rush: a Tofu Salad with peanut sauce on the side. When I got it home I discovered it was 2/3 romaine lettuce with a couple of baby tomatoes and about 10 slices of braised lemongrass tofu. The cost was $14!! As much as I want to continue to support them, the cost for a salad of mainly lettuce isn't going to happen again.

Passed by this place to drop off some paperwork. Inside is beautiful and spacious. Lots of places to sit if finding in. They offer not only banh mi but also pho and okazuya style of Vietnamese and thai dishes. Would come back if in the area.

Love this place! The owner is very friendly and helpful. The food is delicious and there are alot of different choices for any appetite. Mini plates are big enough to fill you up. The regular plate, I end up taking most of it home. They have a great grab and go selection to choose from and everything is fresh!

The curry was pretty ono (delicious) and the garlic chicken actually tasted better than Mitsukens garlic chicken and I'm not even kidding.Portion given is decent for the price you pay. I believe it was like $13The service was awesome. I was welcomed once I walked in by an aunty that was prepping veggies. She said if I had any questions to just ask when ready.Ambiance was pretty casual, the shop itself was really small maybe can fit 3 customers. Seating is available right outside in the halls.They also have a bahn mi station right outside as well to the right of the shop.If you're ever in the downtown area at Pioneer Plaza, stop on by and try these guys out. I was told the pho is good but tad bit on the pricey side.

For lunch, we were looking at getting banh mi. I've never been here before and I've only heard good things about them. We went to their Pioneer building location in downtown. Called it in and was ready in 15 minutes. I got the BBQ chicken banh mi. It was nicely packed and not messy at all. The bread was fresh and the carrots and daikon were tasty and pickled good which paired well with the bbq chicken. Also got the spring rolls which were also tasty. Overall, it was a great first time experience. I would definitely come back.

Love their menu choices of "grag and go" for lunch downtown; vegetarian and vegan options available. Food is fresh, satisfying, and delicious. Price is fair. Condiments available, no charge. The place is clean. Service is great. Owner, staff are friendly and always greeting the customers with a smile. Love this business. Recommend.

Decided to wander up the road to get some Chicken Pho because I was feeling a little under the weather. Yup, it really hit the spot!!! The food is always fresh and yummy! You can order inside or outside where they have the bahn mi sandwiches and salads.

I used to come here a lot when I was working in town. I loved their Yellow Chicken Curry and Sticky Rice so last week, I had some errands to run and asked my husband to drop me off so I could pick up some of their food. Well, I found out they serve the Yellow Curry only on certain days so I ended up ordering something else.Today, I tried again because one of the days they mentioned was on Tuesday. Now, I find out they don't serve Yellow Curry anymore! Made special attempts to patronize them only to be disappointed twice!Also, while asking the worker these questions, she's leaving me hanging waiting for my answer only to answer someone else's question in back of me and she wants me to repeat my question. How rude is that?!I ended up purchasing 2 regular plates for my daughter and me settling for second choices. When I dropped it off, I told her what happened. She suggested Bangkok Chef and Thai Village. Never been there but will try them next since they serve my favorites, is more convenient for me AND lots of parking!Noodles were room temperature because the metal container it's in is placed on the counter and not being heated...is this considered a health hazard? Didn't care for that! The main entrees were warm...the food would taste better if it was hot!

In Downtown Honolulu we are always looking for lunch options that deliver for large groups. Madame Saigon has become a place that we order from regularly. The banh mi sandwiches are excellent - especially the lemongrass tofu - I didn't think a tofu sandwich could be so flavorful. Makes for an excellent vegetarian option! Service is always friendly and helpful.
