Feeling lucky...As the portion size here are quite impressive. I've been here a few times though it must be the food coma that has me forgetting to leave my review here and after taking my bestie to the bank near by it was after work so we were both hungry and as we were first talking boba it somehow turned to food as well and thought that this place would be perfect as they do literally have it all.Located in Waiakamilo Shopping Center which does offer lots of free parking we did so and made our way to see it completely empty so there was no pressure to ordering as we both had the intention of a burger and went into completely different direction with the huge selection as she got the Shrimp Garlic Spaghetti and I got the Mochiko Chicken.Lots of tables and booth seating to choose from and with condiments on each table this informal place sure does know how to take care of you while you enjoy your bite without worry as we chatted and was amazed with how they prepare the entire menu in this tiny kitchen.The lady at the register is just the friendlies as we first sat against the wall below the air conditioning and informed us that it drips and for us to move to another seating which we did so and thoroughly enjoyed our meal as she finished hers but struggled to finish my mini plate as it didn't even seem like I touched it at all lol!A great place everyone as you're lucky to have the yummy endless choices.Thank you!

What a lifesaver!!!I tried to get takeout from Side Street, but they were so overwhelmed that they stopped taking orders two days before Christmas. So here I was, not knowing where to go, and I'm supposed to bring food to my parents. Driving down Dillingham, I saw Lucky Box and they were open!The same young woman was working, from my first visit, and she was very friendly. I ordered the grilled pork chops, garlic ahi, barbecue chicken, and fried noodles. I think this would cover the three of us. Portions were great! Everything was delicious! My parents enjoyed the choices! And there were leftovers for me for the rest of the week!Great place to come to!Mahalo Lucky Box!

I come here because the food is choke plenty and the prices are really good for the islands. Quality can be a hit or miss depending on what you order. I've been here twice already. The first time I went with a buddy. Everywhere he goes, he tries to order his favorite dish if they have it. His is pork cutlet with gravy. I ordered the ginger chicken although I really like pork cutlet a lot as well! I was hesitant to order the pork cutlet. The cook and maybe the owner aren't local so I wasn't going to take a chance. They looked to be Chinese who just emigrated. My friend's pork cutlet was on the chewy/hard side. (I confirmed when I went by myself on a second visit and ordered it) I ordered cold ginger chicken this first time and I think mine's looked and tasted better than my buddy's order. Both orders came with mac salad and white rice, normal local food staples. They tasted like they should from my local boy palate.I'll keep coming here because it's a good amount of food for what you pay for, it's piping hot, casual, spacious, and a decent amount of parking since it's in a plaza/shopping center.3.5 stars for the food5 stars for the priceI won't rate the service since this isn't really like a restaurant, it's more like a fast food joint.

Mochiko Chicken and Beef Stew combo is big enough to share for two. It's a big and heavy plate. If you are in the area, do not miss this place.

Thanks Donna O. for recommending Lucky Box Restaurant!A real local style restaurant located in the Waiakamilo Shopping Center at 1414 Dillingham Boulevard. Free parking in the lot. Parking is shared by a number of establishments. Great plate lunches here. I tried the Lucky Combo, House Teriyaki Mixed BBQ plate. Donna O. ordered the Wagyu Burger with deluxe mayo and ketchup and fries. Everything was made to order. Hot and tasty. The House Teriyaki mixed plate is packed full of Teriyaki short rib (Kalbi), Teriyaki Beef and BBQ chicken! Took home over half the plate. Wagyu burger is thick and a good sized patty. Lettuce, tomato and onion comes with the burger. Fries were plentiful and crispy!The tables were relatively clean. Pretty crowded here. Noise level is on the upper level due to location and number of patrons inside the restaurant. A great place for take out or eat in.

When to lucky Box Restaurant for lunch to go over a briefing on the next tour going out and I ordered the beef chow fun and boy it must have weighted 5 lbs I could only eat about 25 percent of the plate too bad they didn't have mini plates.Travis has the mix plate with beef stew and hamburger patty and bbq meat and lucky if he could finish 1/4 of his plate which also felt like 5 lbs.If you want water they don't give small cups you need to purchase a drink cup, because I don't drink soda or juices.So if you don't want to buy a drink cup better to bring your own water thermos.They do have a wide amount of items to choose from, so you need to go more than once to try the different items.Better to order 1 plate and share, because the portions are large.

2nd time within 2 weeks lol . This time I wanted to try their shrimp toast along with their garlic chicken plate . The garlic chicken was good tasting plus they give a lot not too much over bearing with the garlic sauce . The shrimp toast was very interesting nice and crispy and nice amount of shrimp a little salty but it was ok Support them if your in the area

The food was very delicious! Ordered the regular size Loco Moco. The portion size was huge and very tasty too. The service was not too bad. The time we waited for our food order that we phoned in was ready at a decent amount of time. We ordered our food for a 11:15am pickup and didn't get our food until 11:30am. The ambiance was a diner type of atmosphere. However the small size of the restaurant, it was clean and not dirty.

We're back and enjoyed the breakfast! Cheap eats on a full plate of nice crispy bacon as requested, 2 hashbrown and medium over eggs also a full plate of well juicy Portuguese sausage and easy over eggs and rice. We shared the hashbrown and rice between us and oh boi, we were full. Also, Free coffee and raspberry ice tea. Come for breakfast, lunch or dinner it's a great place! Thanks again Lunch Box!

This place is the old Waikamilo Drive inn....Located in the shopping center in kalihi across Bobs bbq...It seems to be new owners. They really renovated the whole Restaurant. New tables chairs some booth seating even the kitchen looks like it was redone. The restaurant seems to be clean and even is airconditioned.The menu consists of sandwiches... saimin..bowls...Plate lunches breakfast etc...and they even have chinese stir fry..(obvious Chinese owners) prices is reasonable (nothing is cheap nowdays) and portions are huge!! Parking can be challenging during lunch but definetely a solid choice!! Good Value!!!
