Justine Miller at Luana Events was/is literally the biggest blessing and my saving grace! I was an out-of-state bride and planned a wedding mid-pandemic and could not have done it without her. She has TONS of connections with vendors of all types in Oahu. She is organized, knowledgeable, passionate and everything you could ever wish for in a planner. She is decisive and helped me make decisions. She knows how to take ideas and turn them into a whole wedding vision. She was on top of every single detail and won't let you miss anything. She is perfect for out-of-state brides. Overall, I could not have had a better experience with Justine. My wedding was far better than I could have ever imagined, it was a DREAM, and it could not have been possible without Justine.

We talked to a few other highly rated wedding coordinators for our small ceremony (no guests due to COVID), but they tended to be very slow to respond (4-5 days), couldn't keep client details straight, had cookie cutter packages with tons of things we didn't want, or were doing wedding coordination more as a hobby than a business. Justine at Luana Events was recommended by our site vendor (Kualoa Ranch), and she was by far the most responsive, flexible and professional of those we talked to. Your wedding day should feel easy and stress free, and it seems crazy but even from the first conversation Justine put us at ease with her confidence, kindness and professionalism. She created a wedding day schedule, communicated everything to all our vendors, reviewed all of our contracts, picked up our flowers before the ceremony, arrived early to the venue, kept us on track throughout the day, and did the venue checklist at the end of the day to ensure we received our deposit back. On the day, she was always there when we needed her and was communicating behind the scenes with our photographer and videographer; but, she also gave us our space to enjoy our day together. Especially for a ceremony with no guests, having someone who comes off more as a friend than an overly-energetic or stressed coordinator made such a difference. If you're like I was and have no idea where to start, don't try to do it all on your own and then get a coordinator afterwards when you're totally lost (like I did). I definitely recommend reaching out to Justine to get to know her, tell her what you're looking for and have her craft a package based on your needs.
