Loco Moco

The people at this establishment were pretty friendly and helpful when I asked a couple questions about the menu. I liked that they prepped our food to order so we didn't mind the 15 minute wait to get our food. The food overall was a solid 4/5. The bbq chicken was juicy, flavorful. My husband said his katsu was cooked well and the curry had a nice flavor. We both agreed that the Mac salad was pretty average. It wasn't bad by any means but we've definitely had better. The lemon chicken was okay. I'd rather the katsu style of chicken to dip in the lemon sauce than the little bite size pieces because they were WAY overcooked and kind of hard to eat. The lemon sauce by itself was really good though and actually had that tangy lemon flavor I was looking for. The reason I gave 3 stars is because the tables, chairs, floors, drinking fountain was disgustingly dirty. We didn't notice before we ordered but once we tried to find a seat we realized how gross it was. Sticky tables with crumbs everywhere, the floor was coated in stuff and had lots of trash. We ended up sitting next to the drink fountain and it was covered in dust at the fan and I just can't imagine what it looks like on the inside. Unfortunately we won't be back just because of cleanliness but the food was good.

Big portions and nicely flavored. I just expected a little more furikake on the furikake mahi mahi . This is like sparingly sprinkled

I ordered a regular size fried rice Loco Moco for lunch. The food was pretty tasty. The portion size was pretty good. The price was a little high for lunch. I ordered my plate and a medium Diet Pepsi and my bill came out to about $23. The service was quick. The ambiance was like a typical drive in diner. The diner was clean. But the only thing I didn't care for was that they leave both of their front doors open during operation time. There was a few flies flying around in the restaurant.

Food was nice and saucy, variety choices for sides and great service! Lots of people coming to order , but they move them through pretty quick and efficiently. Pepsi products on soda fountain and canned choice sodas and water available. Great service and a variety of offerings!!!!

My other half and I love coming here! Overtime we became regulars and always appreciate their warm service. Food is great! 10/10 would recommend visiting and trying the crinkle cut garlic fries.

Another great order of food from Loco Moco Valkenburg, my favorite location.I like that they have mini plates for us seniors and sometimes even the minis have some leftovers for a next meal.I've also asked them for custom preparation of their saimin, like adding more spam (extra charge ok) and they always accommodate my request. Also, when asked to double the toss salad and no rice, they do add a nice amount of lettuce and tomatoes; tomatoes always very fresh and firm - no mushy tomatoes here. Sorry to say, but I prefer my own salad dressing to their white dressing.One of my favorite dishes to order here is their Japanese fried noodle plate. Good flavor and the noodles are the thick udon style noodles. The added veggies and meat completes this ginormous plate of noodles. Eat this with Tobasco or togarashi powder (Japanese chili powder) and you're in yaki noodle heaven.

It's so gross. Everything burnt the macaroni salad is gross, and warm. Door dash only refunded me five dollars. I got ripped off.

Service was great, the order was correct. Food was okay but the rice was hard. Nothing ruins a plate lunch like old dry rice.

This place get pretty good food! I usually grab food from here when I'm too lazy to prep my lunches for the week. I bought loco moco yesterday and today I bought mochiko chicken and damn they're pretty good!I keep forgetting to take a pic before I eat.
