Liz's BBQ is located in the Wahiawa mini mall complex. It's a small place, but there's plenty of parking. They're a mainly lunch/ dinner spot serving Filipino food ready to eat, similar to panda express.I got the 2 plate combo which Congress with a side and a drink. The bistek was looking good and I also got the spicy chicken curry and for the side pancit. The portion sizes are large so come hungry!

Maybe it's my luck but everything went wrong. Not sure if we will eat here again but if we do, I hope it's a better experience. Atmosphere: Its a small, cozy little shop. Good lighting. Appeared to be pretty clean. Seating was mostly bar style seating, facing a wall/window or panel. Service: we only seen one employee but she seemed nice. Experience: a hot mess. It was our first time eating here but I chose it because they had pancit and adobo chicken, which I love. First, the food looked dried out, like it's been sitting there for a bit but looks are deceiving so we gave it a shot. First, we tried to order bbq pork. They were out. Then we ordered bbq beef. They started making the plate, only to realize they were out of bbq beef. Ugh My husband ended up with pork adobo and beef stew and my son got pork adobo. Once it was my turn to order, I asked for chicken adobo and Pancit. Guess what? They were out of BOTH (minus a tiny scoop off the bottom of the pan that they did give free for the inconvenience). I had to go next door to get takeout while my family ate. It was quite an annoying process. Overall, my husband said most of it was good. My son (12) thought it was just okay. The pancit was dried up and I didnt care for it but then again, it was scraped off the bottom so it may be better when fresh.

First of all, this place rocks. The food, the atmosphere, and the staff are all superb. The restaurants tiny outside doesn't do the inside any justice. It's very comfortable and roomy actually. On to the food. I ordered the BBQ mix plate and my wife ordered the BBQ pork plate. They both came with white rice and mac salad. Mine was great, my BBQ beef was a little dry, but everything else was spectacular. Also, the price is extremely fair. Mine was 11.75 and included a drink with free refills. My only regret is not ordering any of the Filipino food. Next time, I'll be sure to try their pork adobo, pinakbet, or mechado.

The food here is served fast. They have all the popular Filipino dishes. Service was good. I had a two item combo with a drink for $10. A $10 lunch these days is reasonable!

Went to the Grand Opening and the food is incredible! The staff is super friendly and they move quick! They have the same great BBQ as their store at the NEX plus tons of Filipino dishes made by Liz!

This new eatery is in the same shopping center as Longs which is right across of Wahiawa library. There are no hours posted yet and when I visited them at 2 pm, it was empty except for one person. The restaurant is fairly clean. I got a medium combo which comes with 2 entrees and a side plus fountain drink ($10.75). I also ordered lumpia for $4.99 which comes with 4 pieces. The entrees include pork adobo, dinguian , leceon and more. The sides include pancit or rice. They pack the dinguian separately so your rice doesn't get soggy. The pork adobo was tender and had a more vinegar taste to it. The lumpia since it was fried on the spot was crispy even after 30 minutes and was pretty standard. My brother ate most of the food and said they are good.

Filipino food! We came upon this little restaurant by accident. However, we were pleasantly surprised with the selection of Filipino food. Everything tasted great but was a little cold. But I think if you get there early s the lunch hour, you'll be glad you made it. Service was also great. The guy that helped us, explained things we didn't understand and he was very helpful!

I been here once last year and once this year and both were bad experiences. The first time I came in around 6pm to an empty restaraunt so I figured I could get something hot and fresh very quicky. Boy was I wrong. First I tried to get some bbq meat but they said they dont have anymore today (no bbq and your place is called liz bbq and its 6pm, really?) Ok so maybe I was just unlucky, so I went for the Lemon Pepper Wings. About 20 minutes pass and the guy who took my order is also the guy cooking. The guy then stands on a table in the back of the counter and proceeds to start cleaning (sanitation training?)10 minutes later and its already 30 minutes since I ordered. Another man comes out and looks at the fryer and asks something to the guy who took and cooked my order. They both look at me but say nothing, I already guess that my food was probably forgotten in the fryer and they had to make another one. At this point Im hungry and getting a little irritated by the lack of communication and the fact Im the only one in there should not have to wait this long. But this is where it gets worst. A lady comes in orders 2 plates from the food in the warmers up front, pays, gets a drink and leaves...Finally the other man who might be the manager tells me its "almost ready" lol really? Its about 40 minutes now and someone who came 30 minutes AFTER me has left with their food before me AND its an EMPTY restaurant. Im very hungry and even tempted to just leave and tell them Im going to Mcdonalds. But the better of me tells me to just wait so this might be the best damn chicken wings ever right? WRONG. I finally get my food about 8 minutes later(the woulda shoulda coulda real time)and it wasnt even that good..defintely wasnt worth the grueling 48 minute wait.So after that fiasco and a long time later I did the unthinkable and tried this place again. This time I got food from the warmers cause I definitely didnt wanna wait almost an hour again. This time no one in the restaurant again. I get the bistek, dinuguan, and pancit. The bistek had a weird grimy taste to it and most of the meat was tattered; it reminded me of last weeks bulgogi forgotten in the fridge. The dinuguan was just bad, im sorry, it tasted old and like someone put a tablespoon of dirt in there. Finally the pancit had these pods in there where I first though they were those snap peas but they were very bitter tasting and almost raw like and hairy. Disgusting. I think they didnt have and snap pea so just quickly put some cheaper soybeans in there. I did not finish my plate I threw it away.So what are the odds, Im actually thinking of going 3rd time to give them one final chance since some of these 5 stars befuddle me.

My husband and I stopped by on our way to Longs to see what type of food offered. I ordered a plate lunch with pork adobo and pork gisantes to-go. Really delish! I am always looking for good pork adobo, and this is now my go-to place for pork adobo!
