We had Little Vessels do a special order for our daughter's 3rd birthday party (instead of a cake.) Their communication is outstanding and kind, and then - the donuts. Wow. Every single person kept saying it was the best they'd had and wants them to be for their kids' upcoming parties. We did "Wish" themed and Sachi put in so much love and detail. Along with a little extra surprise for our daughter. PS - most of us ate more than 3 donuts each. Insane!

I finally made it here. LOL I always get lost as to where they pop up but finally was able to visit today thanks to their sign. I decided to try the original chocolate glazed donut. Delicious. Obviously. I want to go back already LOL! Service was great and they walked me through their popular items. What a cute pop-up. Definitely will swing by whenever I'm able to.

I try to post reviews for places when I have pictures, and unfortunately I don't have any for Little Vessels, but don't let that hold you back, this spot is worth a visit or five! Think about it: their offerings are so delicious, I couldn't even be bothered to take proper pictures...My dad loved donuts. One of his first jobs was for this donut chain in California, Wenchell's Donuts, and since then he's always loved donuts and that affinity for these fluffy, yeasty treats was passed on to me. We've shared donuts all over the place, and the both of us could be pretty particular about our favorites; we both think cake donuts are okay, but greatly prefer these fluffy, fried, classic variety. A good glaze is nice, but too much toppings can be a turnoff. He's no longer with us, but I'd put money on the certainty that he would love the donuts here, and they'd probably be his favorite donuts on island, just as they are for me. The classic vanilla glaze is a great baseline: uncomplicated, well-balanced, light on the palate but with a good chew.Their other flavors are interesting and can hit just the right spot. My mom adores their cranberry-calamansi (as did I, but she expressly looks for that flavor when we stop by now), and the brown butter sage was an eye-opening treat that had just the right balance of sweet, herbaceous, and bright to it. We tried this carrot cake fritter a few days ago, and that thing was both classic and yet new and unfamiliar all at once. The staff has always been warm and friendly too! Definitely make us feel welcome and are a pleasure to engage in small talk with. It's a little stand so no place to sit and enjoy the donuts, which is the only thing that I find lacking, but it's also not what they are. Yes, it would be great to enjoy these at a table over a cup of coffee, but taken for what they offer? I look forward to squeezing in a visit when I can, and even now, I'm fantasizing about their kabocha spice and looking forward to the December menu...

Got the classic vanilla. Can't go wrong with keeping it simple. Hidden little gem with a tiny parking lot off of Waialae Ave in Kaimuki but this place is one not miss.

STOP and READ this review very carefully. You have not been living until you have eaten Little Vessels Donuts. Forget that they are vegan and you are not vegan. They are the most delicious donuts you will try! I hate to say it, but we are here more often than I care to admit. Purely because it's so close to home AND because my husband will eat a dozen vanilla glazed donuts by himself. If you choose to eat them all on day one, they are melt in your mouth soft and delicious! I am more outgoing and will try all the special flavors. Everything I've tried thus far has been nothing short of amazing. Prices are a little high, but you get an excellent product. Parking is limited to a few stalls and street parking. They are a little table pop up in a parking lot, but don't let that fool you. Gourmet all the way! Place this on your bookmarks list for 2025!

Years ago, vegan and gluten free meant really bad and poorly textured baked goods, now, it means delicious yummyness that I can't get enough of. They have expanded hours on Friday and Saturday too. So delicious and fluffy, great flavor combinations, get it to go by ordering online.

This place makes a yummy donut. Vegan or not, periot. I opted for the special flavor of guava mac nut cookie and it was delicious!! The frosting had a nice sweet guava glaze with a drizzle of more tangy guava and it was COVERED in cookie crumbles and nice big chunks of mac nuts. The texture of the donut was spot on, soft and chewy and it was a flavor and texture extravaganza. Well worth the ~$5 cost. I went around 9:30 on a Friday morning and there was no line (yay!). It was my first time and I just got done with hot yoga so I didn't want to get a lot of donuts and ruin what I worked so hard for in yoga sculpt class... but, I'm never in the neighborhood when they are open so I took it as a sign to treat myself. Service was prompt and friendly.

Vegan donuts (no eggs , no dairy) sold on Saturdays from 10am -2:00pm or Monday 7:45 -11:00 am on the corner of Waialae and 10th Ave behind Mud Hen Water. With prices ranging from $4 -7I wondered what all the fuss was about and why they sell out in a few hours. I get it! The donuts are so soft, it's like biting into a heavenly frosted cloud. Not too sweet, not too much! You are paying for the quality and care that go into them. The flavors all sounded interesting and delicious so I had difficulty choosing, but I loved my coconut lime! Got PBnJ for Mom. Hope the timing is right for me again some day so I can try apple fritters.

In case anyone is dying to know how they bind their dough together without using eggs nor dairy, they use aquafaba and ground flax as their egg substitute!Hands down, the best vegan donuts I've had on island. The flavors are so unique and esthetically pleasing to the eye. If you're not going to consume them immediately, I would recommend putting them in an airtight container so that they don't dry out. Located in the heart of Waialae, follow their Instagram page for hours and daily flavors. And when looking for their pop-up, look for signage on 9th Ave to lead you to where you need to go. There's a table set-up outside with their daily specials, and luckily when I went, there was no line! May the parking gods be in your favor. Not to mention, the service from Keegan (sp?) and his wife are phenomenal. You can tell that they both love and enjoy what they do. Keep supporting this dynamic duo, so that we can get them a storefront to call their home!
