Liliha Square is a small neighborhood outdoor mall with a busy parking lot! The best landmark for this shopping plaza is American Savings Bank on the corner of Vineyard Boulevard and Liliha Street. There are exits/entrances on both sides of the parking lot. The most popular businesses here would be Nice Day Chinese Restaurant, Times Supermarket, New Aala Bakery, Nail & Beauty Salon, and Subway. The outdoor seating consists of a few cement tables, benches, and stools. There are signs posted "for customers only" and with a limit of two hours. Just go early if you are meeting for a meal and be patient in regards to parking. Some stalls have a roof overhead, but you'd still get hit by rain/sun between the parking stalls and the stores. More parking is available between meals... at "off" hours. There are many kupuna in this area, so please kokua! Mahalo!

Sitting on the corner of N. Vineyard Boulevard and Liliha Street, this little mixed-use strip mall hosts a handful of businesses that service the Kalihi/Palama/Nuuanu area. Parking seems plenty with smaller-than-usual marked stalls, some of which are covered, some are not. Here's a short list of most shops:Top TeaClean Living CleanersTimes SupermarketSubwayTerritorial Savings Bank

Avoid using the parking lot; It's a trap for the uninitiate. A parked car can take forever to pull out of the narrow space and, of course, the next car decides that he's next, puts his turning signal on, and waits patiently to pull in. Meanwhile the following cars stack up like billiard balls all the way out to Liliha and Vineyard streets, and in a matter of seconds the whole parking lot is constipated.AND, if you ever get stuck behind a HandiVan, forget it! Just stop in the middle of the lane, turn off your engine, take your keys and run into Times, because the HandiVan will probably still be there when after you cash out!

Liliha Square is a small shopping center in the Kalihi/Liliha area. This center is located on the Mauka/Diamond head side of the Liliha and Vineyard intersection . There's a few stores and eateries here. In my opinion, I think Times supermarket is the headliner of this place. It's also the only grocery store on the lot. Then there is Nice day Chinese restaurant, Subway, New Aala bakery, Nail & Beauty salon, a couple of doctor's offices and a small branch of American savings bank all located in this tiny center. There is alot of cemented tables, chairs and benches for outside dining. In the morning you'll see a lot of the old timers here just chillin and talking stories in their little gathering spots. As for the parking.. It's a tiny lot and at times the stalls will be very limited and it can get frustrating just driving through. They recently completed building 2 parking lot shelters with solar system lightings for the night time business hours. There's multiple entries and exits so traffic coming in and out can be crazy during it's peak shopping hours.

More of a rectangle than a square, Liliha Square is a residential building with several businesses on the bottom floor. The main reason that I stop by is to visit Times Supermarket. I really like the convenience of this area because it is directly on my route home from the college that I attend.Besides Times Supermarket, there is also an American Savings Bank that shares the parking lot. I find the parking lot to be very interesting because it is covered extensively with a roofing system that also doubles as a source of energy for this place because of the large number of solar panels on them. Parking can be tricky because of the closeness of the stalls and the popularity of Liliha Square. Sometimes it is quite busy here. Getting in and out of the parking lot can be a challenge sometimes because there are a lot of cars driving back and forth during peak times.

This small shopping mall is a hotbed for homeless people who sit on the concrete tables in front of subway and the chinese resturant. The security company Star protection lets them hang around for more than the alloted time on their sign 1 hour. This is a shopping mall and a business area not aala park or ala moana park. Their boss Kimo does nothing but says they come to work. The guard do nothing to move them they a social gathering in the afternoon from 5 to 7:30 pm daily. This is a violation of the mayors code because they have 6 people there no masks or social distancing.

Avoid lucky day Chinese restaurant next to Times supermarket. Found a roach in our soup noodles. Had file a police report because I didn't feel like I should pay for something that could potentially make me sick.
