Wow what an amazing experience. Halekulani means "House Befitting Heaven," and Lewers lounge really just transports you to a different world. Legit felt like I was in a movie. Everyone was dressed up (as per dress-up guidelines.). My drink was non-alcoholic and a new addition called "Japanese Folk Song." I loved this one how it was a balance between salty and sweet. I also love how it was a virgin drink because I was out here to be demure, and I ain't about the alcoholic life. The Kona Espresso Tiramisu was a winner and devoured that ish in a few minutes. Definitely would come back here again with friends. I got to sit at the counter due to the popularity of this space. Will definitely make a reservation to get a table next time and stay longer to chill. This place is also like.. hella romantic. I think this would be a really good girls' night out or date night. As for myself, Imma be out here with my gang to have fun lol

Classy, upscale, a magical place to hangout in the evenings. Lewers Lounge is located within the Halekulani Hotel, "the house befitting heaven". Love the quality live jazz that is brought into the Halekulani at Lewers Lounge.Parking is valet. Be sure to get your validation. No parking fee, just tip. Otherwise there is "limited" self parking across the street in the sister property of the Halekulani, the Halepuna.

First of all, I can count on one hand the amount of negative reviews I've left on Yelp. We went here last weekend for the first time in a while, and our server was great, but her coworker, who was an older Asian woman, pretty much single-handedly ruined the mood and the experience. She was very pretentious and, for lack of a more articulate term, she definitely had Karen energy. It's pretty bad when the server who isn't even assigned to your table ruins your visit. Why is it so hard for a place to be swanky and not snooty? If she (or her attitude) was gone, it would be a great place to go. Very unfortunate. PS: In other news, the piano player was just wonderful. Cheers.

What a fun place to be at night! Honolulu was dumping rain this evening I came with my family and fortunately we found Lewers Lounge open with a pianist playing wonderful tunes as we had a cocktail or two. Please be mindful to come dressed in nice, casual formal attire meaning no board shorts, graphic shirts or flip flops. They do provide a button up shirt for gentlemen ;) what a nice touch. The drinks are well done- worth every penny. So many crafty cocktails to try! I honestly do not have a favorite. Desserts and appetizers are also delicious, especially the coconut cake. There's also bar nuts to snack on. Plenty of seating from lounge chair setting for 2, a couch setting for 4 or simply mixing the two to get a setting for 6. Service was great- our waitress remembered every drink order! Amazing. She was very attentive and kind. Definitely recommend this place for a nice night cap

Lewers Lounge is our favorite place to grab a filthy gin martini and listen to jazz in Honolulu! This classy and elegant spot is located at The Halekulani hotel in Waikiki. Depending on which evening you go, live entertainment starts at either 8pm or 8:30pm. It's very upscale and perfect for a romantic date night. The service is absolutely wonderful and special shoutout to Wing for being our "wing man" and taking such great care of us at the bar. He hand stuffed blue cheese olives for my martini and gave us a strawberry rose because he knew my boyfriend had surprised with a date night. He was so sweet and we cannot wait to see him again on our next visit. The vibes are immaculate at this jazz lounge and there's not a bad seat in the house to enjoy the live music!

Classy, upscale place where you can listen to amazing Jazz. Quite the little gem in Waikiki of all places. Rocky, the saxophonist is very talented and played each piece beautifully. He's one of our favorite musicians in Hawaii. Highly recommend for the live music alone.Cocktails - the menu has changed since we last came here and the prices have increased as well. I will say the 2 cocktails we ordered (Smoke Rings and Paper Doll) were well-made and complex in flavor. They are pretty steep in price considering it's $24/per speciality cocktail. There's a slightly cheaper option for $22. It's priced appropriately for Waikiki, considering its inside Halekulani Resort and the free live music included with your experience. I recommend the Tawney ports or red wines if you're not in the cocktail mood. The manager seemed to be MIA this time, as there were lines of people waiting to be seated but we were all ignored for a while. I remember a male manager who worked there before who was very efficient and had a waiting list. They might want to go back to that method to make things run smoother. They also didn't enforce their strict dress code rules this time around, so we are unsure whether they still require that anymore?I hope things are more organized next time we come back!

More of a mature adult scene with live jazz in evenings. Service was excellent and the drinks were on the pricier side, but well balanced. It's inside the Halekalani hotel and we didn't realize they require shoes or sandals with straps. Luckily it was a slow Wednesday night and they let us in with our fancy slippa's.They also have valet parking and they validate.

I'm always down for a nightcap! We were staying at Halekulani and popped in before heading back to our room. ATMOSPHERE:The cozy lounge is the hotel's lobby bar but is located in a separate building just off of the pool deck. Live jazz music is featured Tuesday through Saturday evenings. Decor is very warm with dark woods and ambient lighting. It's a bit squishy inside as it isn't a large space. Choose from bar and low top seating. EXPERIENCE:We had a short five minute wait on this particular Saturday night around 10pm as they were fairly busy. I've always been drawn to jazz bars and Lewers Lounge did not disappoint. Ambiance, check. Drinks, check. Soothing, live singer, check. The spouse and I enjoyed a glass of bubbly before calling it a night. Prices weren't too eye popping. The disappointment of the night? Me. I was so full and tired from our dinner prior to coming here, I was falling asleep! Ugh, still so mad about that. Host & wait service were good.OVERALL:One of the few jazz lounges in the 808.

Beautiful place . Beautiful music. Beautiful musicians. Drinks (bees knees is pretty good) are great. Bartender and servers are great. Super swanky. And super intimate. I could hear the music without it being too overwhelming. People really weren't talking during the sets either which was nice. Oh and she takes requests I dressed "resort classy". Shoes pictured below.I got a seat at the bar at 9pm on a Saturday. There were a couple seats open at the bar. No wait or line. From what I can tell there is minimal seating and slow turnover but there wasn't a line or many people waiting. Maybe it was an off night? (Just saying that based off of the other reviews I read that almost prevented me from trying to get in).
