These Malasadas are legit! Those filled ones, I could easily smell the fragrant coconut and vanilla creams before I tried to pick them up with one hand and nearly broke my wrist they were SO stuffed with deliciousness.Super quick service with a smile!Hot and delicious! We honestly could not have asked for anything more.We went to the truck at Waikele outlet Center.Easy parking and multiple other opportunity for bits and pieces to grab for the day.

Best Leonard's truck imo! Got there on a Sunday at 9 am and no crazy line.Safe and effective layout for ordering keeping traffic a good distance away and!...... the malasadas were massive!Immense compared to other locations! And the workers weren't grouchy.... Cough, cough Waikele.

I almost always get Leonard's when I'm home visiting. To avoid the long Instagram lines at the original Kapahulu location, I stop by this mobile truck or the one in Waikele. While it doesn't have the charm and ambiance as the bakery, the malasadas taste the same. The main advantage of the bakery is that they do have some other items that I sometimes get that you can't get at the trucks.

We went in the evening approximately 1 hour before closing. There was only one person working at the time, so he was kind of busy taking orders and also frying and serving. He unfortunately confused our order and left out the two custard donuts we had ordered, giving us 2 more originals instead. I will say that these are freshly fried on the spot so be patient! Very delicious masalada dough. Original has a great dusting of sugar. Li Hing Mui flavor was very salty and not for us. Cinnamon was a classic! Giant parking lot with several food trucks near the Pearl ridge mall.

Leonard's malasadas is so delicious! Even more yummy when each are filled with custard, chocolate, haupia! The wait was about 20 minutes after ordering. When you take a bite, the filling comes oozing out so eat over a plate or napkin so you don't lose any of that delicious filling! Their food truck is in a parking lot so there's parking. And a couple of picnic tables you can enjoy eating under the shade of a tree, enjoy the breeze and hear the birds chirping.

Delicious donuts place!! We stopped this place before we went to the airport! Everything was hot and freshly made! Original one was my favorite! There are many delicious flavors and they were all good! Personality, it was little too sweet so if they put less sugar, that would be perfect for me!Anyways, had definitely a good time! Cheers

A malasada is a Portuguese donut, without a hole - they fry these up until it's golden brown, covered in this cinnamon-sugar coating (or, just plain sugar or li hing (salted plum powder)), and filled with your choice of filling (custard, mac-nut, guava, haupia, dobash (chocolate), etc.).We came to this mobile truck after having lunch in the area, and note that when there's a line, it will take some time to get yours, as it seems as if it's made-to-order.We ordered one in cinnamon sugar with a custard filling - it was piping hot and generous filled. There isn't a seating area, and most patrons just get theirs to go or enjoy it right there, by the truck.+made-to-order malasadas

Conveniently located in the Pearlridge Shopping Center, in front of the old Sears store, the Leonard's Bakery mobile truck is worth visiting. Staff was very personable and friendly. Service was super quick. Noticed that they no longer take cash anymore. All purchase transactions are via charge cards only. This new payment method really speeds up the process. Highly recommend when you're in that section of town looking for some onolicious malasadas. Beats a trip to their Kapahulu location where it's always busy and the lines are long, extending past the entrance door.

I love that Leonard's has a food truck! I live in Wahiawa and don't always want to drive to town when I am craving a Malayalam. My Malayalam was warm, moist, and yummy! The service was ok. However, there was a bit of a rush due to it being a day of the Farmers Market. All in all, when it comes to Leonard's and their malasadas all is right in the world!
