The chicken cake noodle we got was very good. It had subtle flavours on the chicken beyond the usual that really made it a surprise considering it is a small shop. It was recommended to us by the worker (possible owner).The place is clean and the food came out fast. We did to-go, and the food was still good after an hour. I definitely want to go again.

Been here a few times but busy eating to review. Cake noodles? Wonton noodles? Himmm! Their cake noodles have several toppings. Fun noodles. Shrimp black bean with chow fun?Everything is delicious, on point and always busy. Cake noodles are my favorite next to their FUN noodles. Yumm Yumm is all!

Came here to eat, because of the good reviews & I appreciate good cake noodles. Located in the Chinese Cultural Plaza along the river. Ordered the House special cake noodles & minute chicken. Pepsi in the can served ,but preferred Coke products instead. The food arrived in a timely manner, presentation very good in the noodle dish, the minute chicken was cut up in pieces & served on a plate with no garnish. The two entrees were very tasty & I like the cake noodles, the gravy delicious& ong choy vegetables& shrimp were ample & satisfying! Eva our server& her chef husband have been running theirChinese eatery for 28 yrs.That says a lot! We'll go back & try other dishes, when we are in the area, good service& we took an order of Won Ton soup with noodles & vegetables to go for Mom's dinner. Thank you Eva for the friendly service & Chef for the good food!

Went back for their minute chicken cake noodles and I highly recommend this. The chicken was crispy and there was not a lot of breading which is preferred. For people ordering this pls note that the chicken has little shards of bone in it so be careful

If you are feeling like authentic Chinese food I recommend this hidden gem family owned restaurant. We ordered the minute chicken, beef dry noodles that are beef chow fun and some hot tea for our dinner. Food and the tea was very delicious. They had a variety of things on the menu even common Chinese dishes like fried rice comfort food. No need to visit Chinatown for Chinese food when there are not many restaurants there. Just come here and you won't be disappointed with the quality of Chinese food, service and taste.

The same home cooking popo made with the loving care . Beef tendon is perfect for a cold with the beef gravy. Same family has owned it for years with h the excellent service. Opens till 6 on some days. Excellent cake noodle

This is very tiny unassuming restaurant located in Chinatown. We were craving traditional Cantonese food while traveling in Hawaii and we stumbled upon this place. There are only about 6/7 tables inside and it was pretty much filled during a Saturday lunch rush. We ordere the wonton noodles and beef stew cake noodles and it totally hit the spot. The owner was very friendly and attentive, we will definitely stop by again when we are back in Honolulu.

I was looking for "good cake noodle place" for Aunty's BD family party (food theme was Chinese) and on the Yelp, I typed "best cake noodle", then this place hit!Located at the Chinatown Cultural Plaza face to River St. This place is very cozy restaurant but the lady is very friendly and nice. We felt we were very welcomed. We did phone order, ~2 House Special Cake Noodles (gravy on side), 1 Sauted Garlic Ong Choy, and 1 Sauted Choy Dum- and we were told in 15-20minutes to ready. (The party size was small)House Special Cake Noodle has Choy Sum, Shrimp, fish cake, and sliced meat in a gravy, the noodles are fresh fried and after poor the gravy, the texture became soft and tasty. Sauted Garlic Ong Choy and Sauted Choy Sum were both good!!!I love this place and would like to try different menu next time!Anyway, we parked at the Chinatown Cultual Plaza parking, no validation but still cheeper than other parking. (In 30min is free 31min to 1 Hour is $1, after that $1 each additional per hour. If you just order for to go, I recommend to avoid exactly lunch time, it was easy to find the parking spot.

This is one of my mom's favorite places to eat so we had to stop by whenever we're in the area.My mom got the liver beef look fun noodle soup and I got the wonton tossed noodle. The food is legit and the taste reminds me of some of the food I got in Hong Kong. I can see why my mom likes this place and will definitely come back!
