The is one of the small parks off of Diamond Head Drive that overlooks the ocean. The grassy one acre park boasts a number of large palm trees leaning towards the ocean. The park is a short walk from Kapiolani Park. There is no beach but a beautiful old sea wall to sit on and meditate. There are no amenities (restrooms, parking or playground). You can only access by foot or bike. Diamond Head stands directly north of the park. Two Blocks east of the park stands Diamond Head Lighthouse. The park attracts local sunbathers, dog walkers and people looking for a quiet peaceful spot.Bring a chair or beach towel to sit on.

Gorgeous ocean views, salt breezes, soft grass and glorious sunsets. Is it any wonder I love doing yoga in this park that abuts the Sea? Other groups are there enjoying the space as well (not sure what they are doing but it looks like work! Lol) Yoga every evening at 5:30 except Wednesday/Saturday and Sunday and 10 am on Wednesday and Sunday mornings. Bring a mat and enjoy being outdoors. There's a Biki bike rack out front as you pass on Diamond Head Road....Makalei Park is close by and you can access Leahi Park by walking through Makalei and walking on the sea wall. It's usually high tide in the early evening so you might get wet as the waves crash up on the wall. Many people come here to enjoy the sun, picnic, play games and exercise. The views are beautiful everyday.Leave your car at or around Kapiolani Park or up the street if available. (Where all the surfers park).

This beach park offers great up close views of Diamond Head and is a peaceful place to just relax, have a picnic, read a book and watch the incoming sets or the sun set.No beach access so you can't really swim here unless you jump off the seawall into the water but that might be a bit dangerous. Better to just sit on the Seawall and enjoy the view. The park is still a quiet place to just chill and get away for a bit.

There may be no sandy beach available at this location, but there are great up-close views of Diamond Head and is also a good place to relax, have a picnic, or even watch the waves and the sunset.

This park is soooo pretty!I was on a run from Waikiki to Diamond Head for some exercise after eating really fatty food for several days. I ran into this park and was captivated by the beauty and the view. There was only a few people hanging out on a weekday, so it was very quiet. I got to sit at one of the benches and admired the waves and the greenery that surrounded me. Great place to send a bit of time, to relax and get away from the hustle and bustle of the city.

We've passed by this park on numerous occasions while on our "treks" around Diamond Head State Monument but never really gave it a thought to stop here. There is no parking or restroom facilities in this neighborhood park. But, what I found out about this 1.3 acre parcel of land is that it was willed to the City and County of Honolulu by the Dillingham Family in 1976. It does not have beach access as its shoreline is a vertical seawall. The grassy area is basically underdeveloped but, coming here does provide a spectacular and up-close view of part of Diamond Head's south shoreline. There is even an area that is set up like a stage to the ocean which makes it "perfect" for picture-taking. On some mornings, a group of people can be seen in yoga poses or even tai-chi poses.I suppose the reason why I've not written about this park before is that it doesn't seem too "inviting". The grass is often overgrown and graffiti mars the side walls of the two surrounding estates.

Definitely another underrated park on Oahu! There is no sandy beach here, but there is a lot of grass for lying down, or hanging out with friends. There are beautiful palm trees (very tall) from which you can hang your hammock and relax. I see people come here to do yoga or exercise. The park is also waterfront, which is nice! A lot of people also bring their dogs here! A great vibe outside of the hustle and bustle of Waikiki

It was rainy and overcast when we decided to walk all the way around Diamond Head. We stumbled upon this little park and stopped at a picnic table under the trees to watch two local guys prepare and go spearfishing. Great little park for a picnic.

Peaceful place to go some yoga or hang a hammock. The water is shallow and rocky but there's a few open spots to swim. If you walk to the beach further down there's a shower but it wasn't working this time.
