This restaurant was only a block away from my hotel which was very convenient. I dined solo and close to the live music. I had the fish with rice (topped with furikake seasoning). And the server suggested the pineapple iced tea which was absolutely yummy!! My time here would've been perfect if it hadn't been for the drunk chick constantly yelling things at the live musician. But what can you do? It was dinner and a show for me. The musician was excellent, and bring cash for his tip jar. My server was very helpful and friendly and gave the best suggestions. For dessert I had a banana pudding tarte with whipped cream. DEEEEELISH!! I stay at the Princess Kaiulani often, so this place I will frequent when I'm in town. Well done!!

Had a late dinner here. The ambiance is very nice. Had the poke and the kailua pork sandwich. All very good.

I recently dined at Leahi Bar and Grill, which is tucked away off the main avenue. With a focus on seafood, I was excited to try it out. I went for the garlic shrimp, and while the dish was flavorful and well-prepared, I wasn't quite prepared for the shrimp to be served fully in their shells. I understand that this is a common preparation method, but it was a bit off-putting for me and made the meal more labor-intensive than I anticipated.On the plus side, the service was fantastic! Our waiter was incredibly attentive and answered all of our questions with ease, making the dining experience enjoyable. Overall, I'd recommend giving this place a shot if you're a seafood lover, just be ready for some extra work with the shrimp!

My husband and I stopped by this restaurant because we would always pass by on it our way to the beach from our hotel. I was not very hungry when we went so unfortunately I did not order much, just an onion soup. We arrived a little before 6 pm and so while we were still ordering, the server asked to give us the dinner menu since happy hour ended at 6 pm. We consented, and when we saw the dinner menu, it was basically the same food but more expensive (which is okay... maybe she could have just given us the dinner menu first). The onion soup was a little on the salty side, but quite good. I don't remember what my husband ordered, but I remember him liking it. For dessert, we ordered their banana haupia tart which I thought was tasty as well ! We sat outside (they also have indoor seating), so from my seat, I got a nice sunset ! They also seem to have live musicians every night. The night we went was someone singing covers on an electric guitar. The next night there was someone playing strings - that could have been cool to be near ! The service was only OK, as well as the food overall, hence my 3 stars.

Good food, great ambiance, friendly service. Not a lot of food selection but just enough. We liked all our food. We had two different poke, wings, and loco moco. From the children's menu we have the Mac n cheese. Portions were ok but not huge. Price was relatively inexpensive for Waikiki. There was local live music and both indoor and outdoor seating. We got there around 7:30pm Monday and didn't have to wait for seating but it soon got full. Will come again.

Christmas in Waikiki. Day at the beach and walking by hearing the music and smelling the great food. It drew us all in. Friendly and quick service. Great place

Drinks were yummy, we started with some garlic butter shrimp then had barbecue pork and Loco Moco. Couldn't do dessert. Live music, super pleasant server. Really enjoyed ourselves.

(+) Above the Moku surf shop, we stumbled upon this great restaurant for dinner in Waikiki. They were very accommodating for our large party. Service was good.(++) Nice menu, lots of options I wanted to try. Marlin was the catch of the day and it was delicious with the pesto macadamia sauce. The menu actually recommends available sauces for fish versus meat.(+) Live music was legit, definitely my era of music, but chill cover versions and the musician recorded live loops to build the instrumentals & accompaniment (+) Bathroom was downstairs and requires a key, it's a little bit of an adventure to reach it. There are a couple mini video game systems and monitors to play Super Mario, kids we were with and myself enjoyed that.

Small spot for food & drinks, walking distance to the beach. Ambiance: plays trendy music and has string lights. Seating is elevated. The edamame had a pool of sauce, I would suggest adding less. Half of them were cold as well. Friendly staff.

Food so-so, drinks so-so, we discovered a big pile of barf under one corner of our table and let the staff know. Rather than apologize, they asked us if we were the ones who did it! Yikes. Also, their bathroom was too filthy to use.
