This is a great concept for Indian food in Hawaii. It's basically plate lunch and you can choose from six vegetable dishes and five meat dishes. I ordered a combo plate which you get to choose 3 sides and 1 main. My favorite dish of the day was the pork curry. In addition to the combo plates you can order other sides and tandoori specialties.I cannot tell you how excited I am that there is a "fast food" concept with high-quality Indian food. And for the portion size and quality, it comes at a great price.

This business is conveniently located in Pearl Ridge Mall. I walked past it on several occasions, telling myself that I really have to try the food there. I am so glad we finally did! My husband is a steak and pizza guy. I thought this food would be too exotic for his tastebuds, but I think he's maybe a bigger fan of this place than I am. We both think the food is delicious. You can't tell by the photo but, the portions are generous. The service here is very friendly. We felt like they were trying to make it a good experience. The little things like explaining what everything is in a kind way, and the effort they took to wrap our food with care, is a confidence boost about the care that must be put into preparing their dishes. There is seating available if you want to dine-in. It seems like a lot of people exercise the "to-go" option. I did not previously observe the place full of diners, but the flow of people ordering and picking up seems steady. The atmosphere is casual and comfortable.

As I always say about Indian cuisine, I need more eating in this area. Today I came here for a lunch run. My daughter is a frequent visitor here. Food is very affordable and portions are generous here considering they're inside Pearlridge next to Aloha Salad.Lasoon is like Panda Express for Indian cuisine. This place is very clean and staff are friendly and helpful. All of their dishes are in display with labels so you know exactly what you're getting. They have Samosa so I had to get one. It is like Indian, crispy Gau Gee with slight spicy kick to it. I love anything that's in a dumpling form. Also, their Samosa is big as your fist. Biggest dumpling I've encountered. I was pretty filled after that.We all have to include Indian cuisine to our diet because you know that they use variety of spices that are good for our body.

My son's been wanting to try Butter Chicken for the longest time so my husband and I did our research and agreed to try out Lasoon with him. It was hard not to indulge because the aromas alone were enticing! We ordered:Tandoori Chicken2X Butter Chicken plate with chana masala, palak paneer, daal4 SamosasEverything was delicious but our most favorite were the samosas. The spice level was perfect and if only the food was just as spicy, 5 stars for sure!

I was craving for some Indian food but also didn't want to make the trip to town since that's where most of the Indian restaurants are. I was stoked to hear that Lasoon opened up in Pearlridge! I got the regular plate of butter chicken with basmati rice and palak paneer (spinach) and spicy eggplant as the two sides. I also got a samosa, garlic naan bread and a mango lassi. Everything was so delicious! The butter chicken was moist and flavorful and so were the sides. The palak paneer was creamy and the spicy eggplant had a nice kick to it. The samosa and naan bread were really good too. Even the mango lassi! Nice and creamy and it wasn't too sweet. I'm glad I got that drink because it helped cool my mouth down after eating the eggplant lol. If you're in the area and don't want to drive all the way to town, I highly recommend this place! I love how it's a fast casual place too.

Indian food is something that I rarely eat as there aren't many places in Hawaii. On a recent trip to Pearlridge we found this little gem. It's a sort of take out place with several tables. The interior is clean and there are wipes available to wipe your table before dining. We opted for two plates with a choice and two sides with nan bread. It's kinda a cafeteria style where you pick your sides and move onto the next selection for your main dish. We opted for lentils, cabbage and a garbanzo bean dish. It came with yellow rice. We selected butter chicken as the main dish. We sat and opened our meals. The nan is handmade, warm, slightly chewy, crispy on outside but soft. The rice was flavorful. The lentils and garbanzo bean dish were dishes with a lot of sauce with a slightly grainy texture. Especially delicious with warm nan dipped in the sauce. Butter chicken was a little sweet which is different from what I usually get from other places but dish is good. It was an experience and worth the price. We took home a lot of leftovers for later. Will return again!

Top pick for vegan Indian food on O'ahu in 2024.I'm going to get heat for this review, but I can handle the spice. Bring it on. Lasoon at Pearlridge Center is the kind of place where spice lovers rejoice, and where the wanna-be cool crowd bravely orders the "spicy" dishes only to regret it five minutes later. If you're someone who proudly claims they love Indian food but can't handle anything beyond mild, this spot will both challenge and entertain you. Lasoon takes bold flavors and delivers them with a side of hilarious spice-induced panic. The Indian Food Selection:Lasoon's menu is a flavor-packed adventure that's not for the faint of heart--or the faint of palate. Vegans, there are 2-3 options available via their veggie choices. Thankfully, the price is adjusted to be lower than the meat dishes. Eggplant - this dish is hot. Clear your calendar - you won't be going out this evening, nor making it to any meetings tomorrow morning. Better yet, book a private suite somewhere with a comfy bathroom. It's very hot. The last place to give me a run for the bidet was Atish On the Hill in D.C. Cabbage thing - reminded me of Ethiopian food, but not quite with the same flavor. As you can tell, this one was a bit lower on my list of memorable options. Chickpea curry - looks like a Halloween dish with floating newt eyes, but it's crunchy and delish. Not quite as spicy, so the better option if you plan on having a social life for the next few days. Service:The staff at Lasoon are friendly, attentive, and seem to understand that majority of Pearlridge folk can't handle spice. Matter of fact, I can imagine some people thinking garlic is spicy. I'll never forget that time a visiting team staffed the Aloha Stadium concession and made the blandest garlic fries I've ever had. Ambiance:Lasoon has a sleek, modern vibe that feels like a fusion of Indian charm and urban cool. The decor is clean and inviting, with warm tones that make you feel like you've stepped into a renovated space in Pearlridge ... because that's what it is! Final Thoughts:Get the eggplant and clear your calendar.

Small place in Pearlridge, but the closest Indian style food near me (in Pearl city). My boyfriend stopped in for us to pick up food and he said the gentleman working was very friendly and helpful! The food was nicely packaged, I just wish they gave you more chicken instead of so much rice and veggies. The naan wasn't as fluffy as I like, it felt like it had been sitting under a hot bar for a while but it still tasted good. The butter chicken had decent flavor, same with the rice and cabbage was pretty bland. The highlight of the dish was the spicy eggplant! It had really good flavor and kick of spice!

Tucked away in Pearlridge Makai is an East Asian food restaurant. It offers ready made curry's and made to order foods. It's quick and ready yo go. It's got just a dozen or do seats inside so you may have to share a table. The foods were good. I had the simple meal of naan and curry. The combination plate gives you a choice of two vegetables and two mains. It's plenty for two light eaters.
