We had a wonderful experience when we dined in their pop up bar! Our bartender Kaimini...sorry, I don't remember his name correctly. He was amazing dealing with all the service alone, which I wish someone could help him out. Normally, there should be two bartenders to help with the flow. The atmosphere was so adorable! The music hits were so nostalgic and the drinks is matching along with the taste. The crap dip was also delicious, however the burger, I wish the server that dropped our food off asked me for any condiments before they dashed out. So, I was left eating plain burger with no mayonnaise or ketchup. I didn't want to disturb Kai the bartender as he's already slammed.Other than that, I can't wait to come back here for next year Valentine's pop up bar!

We stayed in Ko O'lina and were looking for a new, chill place not to far away. Lanterns was perfect. Service was excellent and very friendly. Place is super casual and they had some great music going too. Restaurant looks over the ocean and I bet the view in the daytime or sunset is fantastic but we were there at night. Great drink menu and they had NA options too. I had the NA mojito which was good but a bit too sweet. Hubby had a glass of wine. Food - wonderful! I had the fish sandwich which comes with fries and it was delicious. Hubby had the fried chicken sandwich and loved his too. Our server was so sweet - she found out that were celebrating our anniversary and brought out a lovely dessert (cheesecake) for us. So nice! Definitely check them out. They are easy to get too - right off Farrington HWY. When we get back to Oahu, we will be back!

I'm not gonna lie, those boozy bags were definitely calling me out here. And know that if you want a non-alcoholic version, they're able to provide that to you; they charged me $32 for green river and it was so much liquid, we couldn't finish it all, between 2 people! There's live entertainment in the main restaurant (looks like they're able to seat large parties there). They also built a side room, that can fit another 30+ people or so, to which they also have a bar countertop, with a large TV that is streaming the live music from the main area. Attentive and accommodating service. I like that they support their community as much as they can by buying local ingredients and hiring local employees as well. It's a far drive out there, and so if they're able to keep the employees happy in one of the biggest restaurants in the area, more power to them! As for the food, local comfort foods at its finest. My only wish is that the loco moco patty had a little more flavor/seasoning and I definitely wanted more gravy to go over the patty. There was just a spoonful of gravy that barely covered the rice. And the poke on the nachos was overly salted for my liking. Other than that, we enjoyed the crab artichoke dip and the steaks cooked to perfection.Ample free parking, available in the lot directly in front and around back. If you folks ever have the chance to drive out here, watch the sunset and grab some ono food!

Came here for the boozy bag & was not disappointed! I had the Princess Kahanu boozy bag, and it was soooo good! You have to share it with at least one person, and its more than enough. Food was good, though I wish there was a little more calamari. View is gorgeous, and seating inside is nice and pretty spacious.

We stayed nearby on the west coast of Oahu. Here are only a small handful of options for a nicer sit-down lunch or dinner. This is one of the best ones. We liked it so much we went once for lunch and once for dinner and enjoyed it both times. The staff here is great. Very friendly and attentive. They also have a fun and interesting house drinks menu. Ask for guidance and they'll land you right were you want to be. They sometimes have live music in the evening. They did when we had dinner. The musician was good. But the volume was a little too loud and we ended up moving to a table further back. Lastly, the tables by the windows offer a nice view of the ocean. The food is also very good. Fresh fish is all we ate while in Hawaii. This place offers fresh choices. I recommend checking out if you're in the area.

We enjoyed all the food! Just wish our appetizer didn't come out at the same time as our food. We had wings, fish and chips, burger, and prime rib (great mashed potatoes). The service was not great, took awhile for someone to come to the hostess stand, then waited awhile for a server to stop by and for water, and throughout dinner it was a drive by and not friendly. Luckily the sunset and live music kept us entertained. I would go again just hopeful for a better experience. I recommend calling for reservation on Friday/Saturday.

Service: it was good! The bartender was our server and she was very attentive. Ambiance: it's very modern, clean, and tables are spaced out enough for people to be comfortable. Food: this is the reason for the 3 stars. I ordered the house chicken burger with truffle fries for an additional $2. As soon as I picked up the burger the chicken fell out of the bun and the bottom half of the bun was soggy. Instead of a whole piece of chicken I had two pieces. Don't you love picking up a soggy burger?!! Also, I tasted no truffle on my fries....so I wasted the extra $2.....We also got the Ahi Banmi. It was good, but a tad bit too salty. We also got drinks. The espresso martini was the best!! Thank you bartender for the good service and good drinks. Too bad the kitchen made a bad quality chicken burger. Prices are normal for nowadays... Drink was $15,but worth it. There is also plenty parking. Great place to relax and chill with friends and/or family.

We had to come out and try Lanterns since I was intrigued by the drinks.Let's talk about the place -very nice vibe, servers super friendly, clean and refreshing. Tried the fishbowl drink -it is sweet and if you and some friends are looking to satisfy your sweet liquor fix this is it. Took us a while to finish it bc one of our parties couldn't drink his share bc it was too sweet. The pupus were spot on-crab artichoke dip & poke nachos. Wonton chips were very brown which means either the fryer oil needs to be changed or that's how you want it to be. Tasty yes for both appetizers.Main course: we ordered the Prime rib ( wasn't asked how we wanted it)- he prefers medium rare but it was cooked through making it a bit dry. The cut was smaller than what we thought. Ribeye- definitely was not 14oz -was super thinned cut and overcooked. Mash was point on but the Mac & Cheese was not tasty at all.Fried chicken sandwich: again a huge piece of chicken but it was deep fried in the same oil (I assume) bc it was very dark burned). Lastly was the fish & chips. Fish batter wasn't cooked through and was not flaky at all. Fish was rubbery & not flavor-able at all. Overall it is a place to enjoy the drinks & pupusThe place deserves 4 stars due to service and staff. Maybe it was an off day when we came but I have hope for the place!!

While staying in Ko'Olina, we were looking for something close but locally owned so we could taste something new and support the community. The location is upstairs and looks very "island sports bar ish" from the hostess stand, however, upstairs is a really nice restaurant that overlooks the water. Our server was fantastic and quickly brought us our drinks, someone in our party had a *special* mojito and it got all the rave reviews. We started with some apps - blue crab artichoke dip and the ahi nachos pictured - both great! Good portions, great flavor and pretty presentation. We were celebrating a birthday - and the surprise was on us! It was karaoke night and there is some talent within those walls. We had some old school country and some Amy Winehouse too! We even had dancing and a full restaurant, Happy Birthday sing along! We had burgers and garlic fries, wings and more - the food was solid and the price was reasonable.A fun night with great people, great service and great food!
