Lanikai Bath and Body

This shop has my heart. They have the best quality soap, sunscreen, lotion and hand sanitizer. I've gotten all my loved ones hooked on the gardenia gel hand sani, and I can't go a day without their spf. But aside from their fabulous products, the thing that touches my heart most about this business is the personal touch they put on each order. When I used to frequent the brick and mortar store, I was always shocked and touched when they'd send me away with a little sweet goodie from their holiday promos like a bag of free soap ends or a chapstick or a Kailua dish towel. I moved away from the island a little over a year ago so when I was no longer able to visit the store in person, I began ordering online and having my favorites shipped to the mainland. Each time I've ordered a package from them, it's arrived beautifully packaged like a gift, with unexpected treasures inside like an "aloha always sticker", or a bonus soap. I will never stop ordering from Lanikai bath and body. Mahalo for making me tear up tonight when my latest Lanikai Bath package arrived in the mail. You guys are the best.

What a lovely place to pamper your space!Lanikai Bath and Body isn't what I expected as yes it's filled with products with all the favorite local scent...lotion, soaps and candles are the usual items but what makes them special are other items I have yet to see anywhere else.Mini Desktop Diffusers this adorable little cube holds various scent "Mango Coconut" is what attracted me and including the diffuser it's just a couple of inches so you're not stuck with a huge jar but a cute demure decor that will simply refresh your space, they also have a car diffusers for those that prefers it.Cute resin soap dish, and bath salts (including travel sized salt totes) almost piqued my interest more for my upcoming travels...making it into a spa retreat I then noticed a bag of CBD infused epsom salt with three different essential oils and I chose lemongrass (Peppermint & Eucalyptus also available) hoping this will be a great option to treat some aches and pains while detoxing as well.Everything smells wonderful not in an overwhelming way depending on the scent of your choice, they do have some promotions going on and a reward program (Heavenly Rewards Ohana) as well so self care will definitely take care of you in no time.Thank you!

An absolute must-see in windward Oahu! There's interesting and unique shopping nearby as well as easy, free parking. They've got everything under the sun from car scent diffusers to handmade soaps. When I went in person, the young man at the counter was helpful in answering my questions and gave me a free Pikake (tuberose) soap sample which was sizable. I love that all their products smell pretty strongly, yet are both natural and very affordable. Highlights for me were the reed oil diffusers (huge 8 oz size for only ~$28) and beautifully packaged hand sanitizer sprays (Touchland power mist dupes). I purchased a Pikake oil diffuser for my mom as a gift and after seeing how efficiently it emits scent, I had to go online and order my own! The smell of their products really linger in the air or on the skin, which is ideal to me. Best of all, they ship to the mainland at a fair price, and they even gave me another soap sample for my 1-item online order! I can't wait to try more products from them. Pros: - Local, family-owned business- Extremely wide variety of products, even more than Bath & Body Works- Most products have a strong, lingering smell - Products are handmade/natural - Free soap sample with store & online orders - Online orders are at a reasonable shipping price (~$6 for my item to CA) & ship extremely fast (less than 3 business days)- As of Jan 31st, 2023, the code "Aloha" will save about $6 on online orders, making shipping basically free for small, under $25 orders.Cons: - If they had free shipping with a lower order minimum (rather than $150+), I'd be even happier!- The car scent/oil diffuser doesn't seem too potent, I can't really smell it at all and wish it were stronger

Went in looking to buy some items. The salesperson stood behind the counter the entire time watching me. No greeting, not even a smile or nod. Didn't ask if she could help me. No other customers were in the store so it wasn't as if she was busy. It was just very uncomfortable so I left without purchasing anything. It's unfortunate because they look like they have some great products and it smells really wonderful in there. I try to shop and support local, but some places make it difficult.

Jojo, who is a local friend of mine, turned me onto lanikai products for myself, my husband, and poi dog for our pup and we could not be happier! With clean ingredients, we know we can't go wrong. It's always a delight to visit the shop when in town and the sales people are always so friendly! And I love that you offer deals on shipping to the mainland as well. Just stocked back up on all our favorite products!

Totally agree with all the 1 star comments mentioning that the sales ladies working here are unfriendly, rude, and prejudice. Today, I went into this store with my girlfriend. The 2 employees were Chinese, and ironically they were rude to my girlfriend who was also Asian. It was very obvious they were giving more attention to the Caucasian customers. My girlfriend bought a fragrance spray and after reviewing her receipt she was over charged. Warning! Not only are the sales ladies here rude, but they will rip you off. Check your receipt before leaving the store.

Pricey, but everything smells so good! This is a great place to buy gifts for locals or friends/family on the mainland. I did a good amount of Christmas shopping here, and I received a lot of positive feedback from the recipients. It's also great to support a locally owned small business in my neighborhood. They are part of the Fivestars rewards program, so don't forget to enter your number on the keypad before you pay for your goods.

Small store packed with lots of delicious smelling products! They have several options of sets that would make a nice gift. The pikake body wash and body oil have a long lasting scent that smells beautiful and fresh.

I absolutely love the pikake scented products! They smell like the real thing and the hand sanitizer container is so pretty and refillable. Bonus! However, the customer service stunk and lacked aloha. No greeting when we came in, she couldn't be bothered to look at us answer questions. When it was time to pay my credit card was tossed on the counter along with the gift. Customer service could use a some help.
