LAMILL COFFEE is an award-winning specialty coffee roaster headquartered in Los Angeles with a few locations there. This Lamill location can be found in the lobby of the new Renaissance Honolulu Hotel & Spa. After having breakfast at nearby Mara, we headed here for a quick pick me up on the way back to our room. Like the hotel, everything is brand new, clean, and very aesthetic. Their menu features espresso, iced coffees, specialty beverages, teas, and juices. They also have grab and go items available as well as various merchandise from books to coffeeeware. I wanted to try something different and new so their specialty beverages piqued my interest. I went for the hot honey orange cortado which was really different from my norm. The orange flavor came through really well and was nicely balanced with the honey. I liked it, but probably wouldn't be getting it again. Haha. They had some other interesting/unique drinks so I'd check those out if you're feeling adventurous. Otherwise, this is a nice convenient stop if you're in the area.

The worst drink I've ever had in my life is the lamill milk tea . The cafe is very cute with an assortment of pastries. the red bean bun is decent but I do not recommend this place at all. There are so many better cafes and bakery in the area.

Early morning Matcha...Lamill is located in the lobby of the newest Marriott on Kapiolani and I'm not sure exactly how parking works though it's easy to find some street parking in the back beside Wal Mart and i did just that and dashed in for a quick trip.Soon as you walk in just look to the right and you'll see a huge doors with MARA which is probably the entrance to the restaurant but what happens in the morning is brewing in Lamill.Menu offering is quite simple with the usual coffee offerings but some things that intrigue me like Coconut Cream Ube Matcha, Honey Orange Cortado, Kyoto Cold Drop Coffee and yes Ceremonial Matcha. As i wait in line to decide i do love what they have including a bunch of local items available from Opening Gift, Hi Spice, and Manoa Honey and Aloha Sweet Remedies just to name a few, I do get the Matcha Lemonade which was something I've never tried. The lemonade was definitely there and so is the matcha...nice and strong the vibrant green grabs you and so does the grab and go bites and drinks which makes it a cool stop to get your mornings going.Thank you!

Cute little coffee shop nestled inside the lobby of the new Renaissance hotel on Kapiolani Blvd. I've been to the restaurant (Mara) three times and never noticed this coffee shop! There are a lot of local goods for sale. They even have crystals and other fun items for sale. They also offer a cooler of chilled drinks. If you're hungry, they have some salads and wraps available ($11-$15). There's no seating inside the coffee shop, but you can enjoy your drinks in the lobby lounge of the hotel. The prices are reasonable. I ordered a Kona hot coffee for less than $4.Will be back to try the food and the different tea selections.

Lamill is a coffee chain originating from California, and is located in the new Renaissance hotel. The cafe is small and is more of a grab and go with no seating. I ordered their ube latte, it was a little on the sweeter side and had a slight hint of ube taste (6.5/10).

If I could I would give this place no stars. Me and my friend came in to try this new cafe but once we walked in it felt weird and awkward. There was no greeting or anyone trying to say/ talk to us. The lady (karli B) she was working the register and she was kinda rude. No greeting, very slow thinker, didn't catch our orders and her tone of voice was just unsatisfying. When my friend ordered her matcha latte, she asked if there is any substitute milk like oat milk and the lady (karli) said it already comes with oat milk (in a rude tone). How would we know? It doesn't say it comes with oat milk and usually most places it comes with whole milk. We ordered vanilla latte, matcha latte, matcha lemonade, avocado toast and breakfast sandwiche.Once we got our drinks and we tried it, oh my goodness it was disgusting! My vanilla latte did not have any flavor or any taste of vanilla, the matcha latte was straight up disgusting, no sweetener just plain matcha flavor. Then the matcha lemonade was probably the worse one! It was straight up sour lemons like no matcha taste. It was so sour that we had to add honey when I go to work. Very disappointing. The workers should've told us that none of the drinks are sweeten! Then we got our food. The avocado toast was sad. The bread was all soggy and how it looks was pretty sad. The breakfast sandwich looked nice but when I took a bite of it, it was all soggy and the croissant was very sweet. Didn't match with the breakfast sandwich. And the croissant looked like it was from Costco. The vibe and feeling for this place was disappointing. Didn't enjoy coming here and wouldn't recommend other customers to try it either. For everything it was around $60! It was so not worth it! I would like my money back!

Bad service - no greeting or anything when enter. No thank you either. Two female workers basically stand there and waiting for me to order. But when a male guest walk in, the long hair female worker told him she will be right with him and the short hair worker greet him. (At that point, I was annoy, why giving different service to people? Am I not look like a guest or not dress fancy enough?) And honey sesame latte - where is the sesame flavor? Just tastes like a regular latte to me. They don't have non fat or 2% milk, only whole milk. And the short hair worker said they have soy if that helps (where is the indication I can't drink regular milk when I only ask for non fat and 2%?) I won't recommend nor come back. Bad service, mediocre drink. Plus not sure if the long hair worker wash her hand after handling cash and then prep the drink.

Lovely new cafe in Hawaii. We are not guests staying at this hotel, we just walked by in passing so we don't know how's the parking. The coconut cream ube matcha wasn't available but we hear it's a hot seller and the baristas favorite so we will have to come back for that. Our drinks and the chocolate cookie was yummy. Kyoto cold drip is really smooth not bitter at all. No seating in the cafe, but we just enjoyed this pick me up in the lobby of the hotel which was nice.

My girlfriend and I got a Vanilla latte and a Ube latte, both of which I'd highly recommend. The Ube latte, particularly, is the best one I've had on island. The strong espresso is harmonious with the ample ube flavor, and it's a drink I'd definitely recommend to any avid coffee drinker. Also, thank you for making the coffee at like 6:30AM, and being patient with my sleepy indecisiveness. The store is also very pretty and a quite charming-looking place.

A cute little coffee shop tucked away right across the street from Ala Moana Center. It is central to so many things. The vibe is chill and welcoming as it is connected to the lobby of the brand new renaissance hotel. The staff are always welcoming and friendly. The drinks are thoughtfully curated, and there are always some takeaway food options in the fridge. It would be a wonderful place to come relax after a long day of shopping with friends or on your own.
