Cute shop with permanent jewelry available! Got an appointment quickly & had so many options to choose from

So.... Unless you've been living under a rock, you'd know the craze for "permanent" jewelry only continues to grow. While exploring Ala Moana Hawaii's Center, I stumbled across Laine. The signage openly advertised custom permanent jewelry and I couldn't pass up the opportunity to see what they had to offer.While this review is solely on the experience provided by Laine & its associate [Kelani???], it doesn't reflect the longevity of the product. First things first, while Laine specializes in clasp-less jewelry, you do have the option to have a clasp placed. These creations are available as bracelets, necklaces, and anklets. The variety of chains are strictly offered at 14k GOLD FILLED and per the associate, these do not tarnish. The process is pretty straightforward. You decide what kind of jewelry you would like [in our case, matching mommy and me bracelets]. You then choose the design of the chain. You have the option of either taking the item as is with just the plain chain or customize your product with charms. Go as subtle or as crazy as you would like- you really can't go wrong!Shout out to Kelani [I hope I spelled and got her name right] for being with us every step of the way. She answered all the questions I had and was very detailed when it came to walking us through the process and giving me honest feedback about the product. She gave great recommendations but always offered to do things my way if I wanted something different. She did not rush the process one bit and was so kind to go above and beyond to entertain my very bored toddler. She is very skilled, calm, patient, and of course- has such a steady hand to ensure an amazing product. I appreciated Kelani making a few requested adjustments and she did it with a smile- reinforcing that I am paying for this pricey product so she wanted to make sure we were happy. CUSTOMER SERVICE LEGIT COULDN'T BE ANY BETTER!!5/5 stars for the process. We didn't feel rushed one bit and I'm happy to have such a cute, memorable souvenir commemorating my daughter's 1st visit to Hawaii. We received some good and not so good feedback regarding the actual durability of these products but I'll take my chances. We paid a pretty penny so I'll pray extra hard that these beauties last.

My family stumbled across Laine while on vacation at the Ala Moana mall. It's a cute little shop with clothing, accessories, and what caught our wye was the permanent jewelry. We decided to get one done for our daughter and they had the amazing option of adding a clasp so we can remove it whenever we want. A customer bracelet you can call it. Anyways, they had super cute charms and we added one to hers for the mems (it was a seashell). The bracelet was reasonably priced and my daughter loved it! Fast forward to a few months and of course our little one misplaced it. I reached out to Laine and they were able to make us the same bracelet with the same charm and shipped it! Loved the customer service and my daughter will be so excited to open her bday gift! Thanks for having great customer service and being so prompt with your response. :) will be visiting again when we come back to Hawaii!

Shaeann did my permanent bracelet and was meticulous in making sure the charms all faced the correct way. I had made adjustments to size and she was extremely patient. Shaeann is very nice and pleasant. I'm glad I walked into Laine Honolulu and she was available to do my permanent bracelet.

Something shiny something new something just for you...You're able to do that right here at Laine, located in the Nordstrom wing in Ala Moana Center upper level right across Uniqlo this bright and colorful world of positivity and brightness they exude here is adamant...everything from the stickers, pins, cards and yes their permanent jewelry & jewelry bar.Though they do take walk ins, you can book an appointment and make it a fun besties event which I think would be a great experience and to complete the whole ensemble the have so much to add like hair clips, hats, clothing, totes and just so much more.I just love how much local flair is found in this adorable boutique, the staff here is just so helpful and friendly it's no wonder so many flock over to create that special uniqueness that's found and made here.Thank you!

Very cute store that sells permanent jewelry, jewelry with clasps, and clothes. The jewelry are all gold filled and affordable. The store is found at Ala Moana (Across from Nature Republic) with lots of free parking.

First time coming into this store a couple of weeks ago to get my daughter and I matching rings for Valentine's Day. This store is so cute, tons of stuff like jewelry, clothing, stickers, etc. Came in specifically to look at rings but did browse the other items too. We ended up getting these cute gold plated rings (see picture) and the quality seems to be very good. Prices in the store is reasonable, honestly thought things in the store would be expensive considering how nice everything looks. Lady in the store was really nice, let us browse around at our leisure but did ask us a couple of times if we had any questions. I like being acknowledged in a store without being suffocated you know what I mean? This is a lovely store with beautiful items, definitely check it out!

Chelsea was amazing! I had an appointment to get permanent jewelry somewhere and they didn't show up, but she squeezed me in immediately as a walk-in. The jewelry is beautiful and she was super helpful with the whole process. Will definitely be coming back again!

My girlfriend always comes to shop here. She's loves the items that's always displayed here. Coming back for sure.
