Laie Chop Suey

The food here is really good! My family and I really like it here. When we camp done that side we always order one night of dinner from them The service is always great, friendly, patient and family feel. Inside is small but who cares when the food is good I forgot to take pics we always order gauge cake noodle, shrimp canton, beef broccoli, roast duck (my fav!!! ) egg fuyoung and white rice. I recommend this place anytime your done La'ie side. It's the only chop sudu place down there but they are really good. They also have plates you don't have to order big lol

Overall 5 stars: Awesome food from a great local Chinese restaurant. There is something nostalgic about walking into a local Chinese restaurant and ordering takeout. When in the area you gotta try Laie Chop Suey.Food 5 stars: The food was full of flavor and hits the spot. I ordered the minute chicken with cake noodles and stuffed eggplant. This has got to be the best cake noodles on the island. First of all the portion size is large and the cake noodles hot and crispy. The stuffed eggplant with juicy and had tons of flavor. The dishes cost less than a regular plate lunch or burger meal (less than $15) at other places! Great deal!Service 5 stars: the staff was very friendly and the food came out piping hot and quick! I definitely recommend eating here when you have that urge for great comfort food.

This is exactly the kind of food I've been craving since my last trip to Hawaii. We've never stayed this far north on Oahu and we're so happy to find this gem! Order family style and try things you've never had before. We ordered fried wontons, chicken fried rice, chicken chow mien, honey walnut shrimp and minute chicken with cake noodles. Everything was excellent! We could not believe our order came to $36 for all of that food! This is where the locals eat for a reason. Nothing fancy, just really good food with lots of leftovers. Excellent and friendly service too!

I was craving Cold Ginger Chicken and thought I would check to see if they were open. They were open and had tables available! Waitress was really friendly, made suggestions but didn't push. Ended up trying different dishes as well and I must say really enjoyed everything. Of course the Cold Ginger Chicken hit the spot. Ono!

Took 40 minutes to receive some of the most bland and dried out dishes I've ever been served in my entire life. Server could care less when told about it. Shop is run down with faded pictures of entrees on the walls. Not recommended.

Always good only thing is prices went up like a mug.... Pans of food increased like 30 percent compared to last year please help us unfortunate folks afford take out again.... Ha

We ordered honey walnut shrimp, char siu fried rice, minute chicken cake noodle, gau gee, and egg fu young. Was ONO!

My favorite Chinese restaurant! Every time I'm on that side of the island this is where we're eating! The food is sooooo good and the prices can't be beat!

Eating at Laie Chop Suey is great! My husband and I just finished eating at this restaurant. You cannot beat the price and food quality. for $29 we had a 1/2 ginger chicken and a Dr Slachter special with cake noodle, order of 1 rice. WE had left over for dinner. The food portion is so big. The taste so delicious and fresh. It is a highly recommended local restaurant . Their hours are 10-2, 4-8, Mon-Sat.
