My family had an absolutely magical evening at Lady Elaine! It started with delicious cocktails and reading the menu, which explained the name Lady Lane and its origin in the TV show Mr. Rogers. It brought tears to our eyes. This food was absolutely fantastic. There were so many vegetarian and vegan options. To start, we shared the cauliflower, which was cooked to perfection and came with a delicious sauce, the roasted heirloom carrots, and the ahi crudo, which was served with capers and just spot on in its delicate flavors. We then also shared lamb and chicken skewers, which everyone positively adored. Our kids, who are 10 years old loved the Keiki menu and the play structure outside! They could go play while the adults had their boring grown-up conversations. Our only feedback for the staff is the timing of the dishes was a little strange with some items, arriving far far ahead of others. But we know that you are new and still working it out, and we appreciate it how thoughtful and kind to every person was. What a fantastic new restaurant!

Last week Monday, my friend and I ate here for dinner to celebrate her birthday. Conveniently located in the Manoa Market Shopping Center, there is ample parking. When we got there, the place was quite large and spacious. The decor was very cute - elegant and classy but with a casual feel. Our server handed us a basket to put our purses in, so there was a place for it as we enjoyed our meal. She explained the menu and that dishes were meant to be shared. So, we ordered a few items that she recommended to us. We also looked at the extensive drink menu, which had so much variety of drinks (both alcoholic and non-alcoholic) that it was hard for us to make a decision. I settled on a non-alcoholic drink called the "Flying Zookey." It was delicious! Now, let's get to the food...The Food:Cauliflower - So good! The cauliflower was cooked and seasoned very well. I enjoyed the hummus on the bottom of the cauliflower. Beef cheeks - Very tender and melted in your mouth. It was a little salty but when eaten together with the creamy mashed potatoes, it was the perfect combination since the potatoes created a balance to the beef. Shrimp pasta - The pasta was okay. A couple of my shrimps were on the al dente side, and I don't particularly enjoy the texture of raw, soft shrimp. The pasta was flavorful.Ricotta fritters and coconut panna cotta - We decided to order both desserts, and I'm glad we did! These were delicious! The fritters were yummy, small fried bites of doughy goodness with lemon curd. The coconut panna cotta had some fruit and was very light. Both desserts balanced each other! Overall, we had a wonderful night of good food and excellent service! I only wish the portions were a little bigger. There are also kids' items on the menu so I may return with my twin boys!Happy Eating!

Love the concept of Lady Elaine, a nod to the Mr. Roger's Neighborhood ties in well to the character of Manoa. Delicious lamb racks, sublime eggplant risotto, and ricotta fritters were my faves. Cocktails are done well. Service is superb.

First and foremost I want to say service was excellent here. The staff was super friendly and very attentive. However, the food was mediocre to pretty bad which is why I gave them a 3-star. ***What I ordered (from best to worst) ~**Beef Cheek (10/10) ~ This was probably one of the best dishes of the night. The beef cheek was so incredibly soft and seasoned perfectly! I believe the thing sitting under it was mashed potato and it complimented the beef cheek well. **Ahi Crudo (8/10) ~ The ahi tasted fresh and loved the fruit and fried capers. Although, I wish it was a little more citrusy considering it's a crudo. **Cauliflower with hummus (7/10) ~ The hummus really made this dish. The cauliflower tasted like your ordinary cauliflower. It wasn't seasoned with anything special. If anything it was barely seasoned, but cooked nicely. **The sweets ~ (7/10) ~ I'm not entirely sure what the sweets were called, but the fried ball that looks like an andagi/hushpuppy was my favorite. Crispy outside and very soft chewy interior! As for the Panna Cotta Pudding it wasn't too bad. I loved that it was somewhat spiced. Very interesting texture though. **Heirloom Carrots (6/10) ~ This was okay, nothing crazy special. I thought the sauce was a little sweet and overpowering, but the carrots by itself was good!**Roasted Potatoes (3/10) ~ This tasted okay... personally I thought the dressing was overly acidic to me. But the potatoes were cooked perfectly. **Lamb (3/10) ~ I love a good lamb and this was surprisingly really bad. It was interesting that our server never asked us how we wanted it cooked. But 2 pieces came rare while the other piece was well done. The lamb was under seasoned and the topping that it came with, which was these bread crumbs were incredibly hard. **Fresh Catch (2/10): Fish was cooked perfectly although it was super unseasoned. The lentils surrounding it were not seasoned evenly. Some bites would be extremely bland while other bites would be overly salted. **Chicken Skewers (0/10) ~ Bland and SUPER dry. This was incredibly hard to eat and it just didn't taste good at all. Also, this came out to $10.50 per skewer, which is pretty ridiculous for a dried piece of chicken.**Bread & Butter (0/10) ~ Never really understood how you could mess up bread & butter, but today I got to witness that. The butter didn't taste like much, if anything it didn't even taste like butter. As for the bread it came to us incredibly DRY and hard. Overall,Lady Elaine is a pretty cute place to get drinks and have a nice night out. Staff is SUPER friendly, but I'm sorry the food is just not it. I don't think I'll be coming back.

I've been watching this place come to life for the last year and now finally I was able to try it. It's got a nice set up and decor. The staff was very friendly and helpful. It's a family style menu with small and large plates made to share. We tried the cauliflower and ahi crudo for small plates. The cauliflower was super good, highly recommend! The ahi was good as well. The eggplant risotto was delicious and cooked well. The grilled octopus was decent, though not super amazing. The beef cheek was yummy and nice, tender. I want to try the lamb next time! The risotto fritters were super delicious!! We brought our own wine and corkage fee was $20. It's waived if you order an addition bottle there or only $10 if purchased from the corner store. Overall great little find in manoa and with great service!

100% Recommend!!!! The food is amazing annnd the service is exceptional!!! Located in Mānoa shopping center, this is the sister restaurant to Little Plum (also located in Manoa shopping center and also 100% recommend). We ordered a bunch of different plates to share. We ordered garlic shrimp, blister tomato pasta, fresh local bread, and tahini chard cabbage. We also had a beef cheek dish and chicken skewers, which I forgot to take pictures of. My favorite dish was the garlic shrimp. For dessert, coconut panna cotta and ricotta fritters . Both desserts were sooo good. The Panna cotta was refreshing. The fritters were perfectly fried with a soft filling. The staff are very welcoming and they are able to go over the menu and drinks very well. The staff also will offer a basket to put your bag in while you eat so you do not need to have your purse on your lap while you eat. The one negative thing is the place gets loud because it's a big open space. Towards the middle of the meal, they turned on music which made the restaurant even more loud. But to us wouldn't stop me from going to eat there.

We stopped by for drinks after an evening meeting. We were lucky to get a table for 7. The drinks were well crafted, especially the everyone's fancy drink with egg whites. Very picturesque! The service was great and always asking if we needed anything. Such a cute restaurant in Manoa Marketplace with good parking. Make sure to check them out if you are in the area, even if it's only for a drink!

Lady Elaine is a new Mediterranean-inspired restaurant located in Manoa Marketplace. Reservations were a breeze to make using the Resy app, and parking was plentiful in the convenient marketplace lot. From the moment we arrived, the friendly and efficient service set the tone for a wonderful dining experience. The open dining room features a minimal yet elegant design. Tables are spaced thoughtfully, creating a comfortable ambiance that feels inviting, even as the noise level rises during busier hours due to the low ceiling. We started with the Bread and Butter, featuring Breadshop's fresh-baked bread paired with a delicious herb jam butter. We also tried the Crispy Potatoes based on a friend's recommendation. They were perfectly golden and seasoned with chili flakes, paprika, garlic, and cilantro. For mains, the Blistered Tomato Pasta featuring Ho Farms tomatoes, basil, and parmigiano reggiano was simple and comforting. The Harissa Seafood Stew was my favorite dish of the evening--a robust and aromatic medley of local fish, clams, shrimp, and squid swimming in a flavorful harissa broth. We also sampled the Ahi Crudo, where fresh, silky ahi was elevated by bright accents of orange, pickled shallots, and a briny olive tapenade. The bar offerings are equally impressive. I sipped on the Tale as Old as Time, a perfectly balanced cocktail featuring Rittenhouse rye, Averna, Cynar, crème de cacao, and a hint of angostura bitters. The result was bold, complex, and slightly sweet.Dessert was the perfect ending: Ricotta Fritters, dusted with powdered sugar and cinnamon, with a tangy lemon curd that added just the right amount of brightness. They were warm, fluffy, and delightful.Lady Elaine's commitment to using local ingredients shines through in every bite. I can't wait to return and try more dishes from their menu.

We had such a wonderful experience at Lady Elaine that I forgot to take pictures of all the other delicious plates we ordered, we were having that great of a time! The service is top notch here and you'll see lots of familiar faces from Dusty Grable's other projects such as Livestock Tavern and Tchin Tchin. Their team provided amazing hospitality and made awesome recommendations since it was our first visit. Our favorite dishes were the grilled octopus and lamb. The wine selection is quite extensive and it was an experience in itself trying several of the different varietals. The ambiance is so fun at the bar so definitely try to snag a seat there for your next visit!
