La Tour Cafe

Kapolei is always a trek but it's nice they have this cafe. We were super hungry and there were so many choices out in the area. However, the colorful macaroons won us over. Staff were very patient and nice explaining varying menu items suitable for kids. Sad there's no more flatbread pizza! Plenty of seating inside and outside. Food brought out by number. Wait wasn't long. Interior was clean and bright. Salad was fresh with tender juicy chicken. Turkey sandwich warm and crunchy. Mac and cheese with melty creaminess. Macaroons offered a variety of color and flavoring offerings. So good!Definitely a pleasant lunch experience and will return!

My daughter and I came here two weeks ago for the first time and tried their macarons and they were so good. My daughter loved the cotton candy macarons and asked me to order some for her birthday party. Of course I did that. I ordered the macarons three days before her party and paid for them ahead of time. Three freaking days early!!!!!!!!!!!! Well, today, the day of the party, I came and tried to pick up the cotton candy macarons and nothing was made. The employees didn't find my order. They kept looking and still my order was not available. The employee called the manager and was told they forgot to make my order. How the heck they forgot to make my order after I paid for them? My daughter didn't have other cake because all she wanted was the macarons. It was embarrassing because she was telling her friends how good they were and everyone was excited to try them. Shame on you guy! You ruined my daughter's party. How can you forget to make an order that was already paid? If I can give this business a 0 star, I will. I am so disappointed.

Sandwiches totally hit the spot! Salad dressing is pretty tart but mesh well with the flavors of the sandwiches. A must is a bowl of creamy cheesy mac n cheese!The pho bahn mi sandwich is unique and delicious.I love that I get to make my own drinks at the machine as I can get creative.Employees are friendly and helpful. Storefront is often kept clean.

This is not an inexpensive lunch, but the quality is absolutely worth the price tag. The worst part is trying to decide what to get, because there are so many options and everything sounds great. I ended up doing the Wagyu "Pho"ggie and it was SO GOOD. The meat was as tender as you would expect, and the Pho mayo packed every bit of the Pho flavor I was hoping for. The baguettes were equally the star of the show, but well balanced with the sandwich filling. We also tried a couple of macarons, which were delightful. The filling was so creamy, the cookie perfectly chewy. My son got the mac and cheese which was SO cheesy and flavorful, and my in laws got the Brisket and Braised Pork Banh Mis and they loved both!There is a great covered outdoor patio to eat on, and even on a weekend it wasn't too crowded. Plenty of parking in the surrounding lots once you make your way through the traffic of the busy shopping center.

I had no idea there was a La Tour in Kapolei, so as a big fan of the café, I had to give it a try. The food quality and atmosphere were what I've come to expect from La Tour--reliable and satisfying. But I have to admit, I was a little disappointed by the macaron selection. None of my favorite flavors were available, and honestly, that's one of the main things I look forward to when I visit La Tour! The dining area is laid-back and a modern, clean place to relax, meet up, or just enjoy your food. The service was fast and the workers were nice. The food? Maybe not life-changing, but definitely hits the mark in terms of flavor, portion sizes, and price--something that's always appreciated in Hawaii. This review is short and to the point but that's because I've only been here once, and only tried their food but not any drinks; again, still disappointed about the lack of flavors for the macarons this day! But the freezer looked small so I don't know if it could handle more. Other than the macarons, it's good to know that this La Tour is the same as the La Tour across the island on Nimitz.

La Tour in Kapolei is something I didn't expect (in a great way!). I'm familiar with La Tour on Nimitz, but I wasn't a big fan of it. However, looking at the ambiance and observing the workers, I had a better experience. The cafe had indoor and outdoor seating. Macaroons and other pasteries on display and bread/lavosh on sale next to the register. They had the special drinks posted above the bread and on the counter. I like to ask the staff what their recommendations are since they probably tasted the product. I also let them know my preference as well. I appreciate their honesty.I ordered the chicken pesto panini. The panini filling wasn't as much as I thought it would be, but it was still tasty. I also wanted to try the eggplant parmesan panini. I thought out loud with my friends and wondered if they could make half chicken pesto and half eggplant parmesan. Something to think about for the future :)

Great little cafe. We stopped here after we got in at HNL for lunch. Yummy sandwiches and nice outdoor patio. Hubby had the panini and I had the meatball banh mi. Both were very good. Service was great. Would definitely go back and recommend.

La Tour well known for their great pastries. They have some awesome sandwiches as well. We tried the Braised Pork Belly Banh Mi and the Chicken Chocogi. Both were delicious. To top it off we split an order of fries and a Lemonade. Service was good. Inside and outside dining available.

Okay i always see this place but never went until today. Holy crap I been missing out. It's such a chill place a d definitely my vibe. My only down fall is they need more workers.Let's start with the falafel banh mi. This is off the chain. The flavors were there and the taste was almost meat like seasoning or sauce they used. The veggies were fresh and they tasted good. I give this a 5/5.The pizza was Alsatian pizza minus the bacon. This was the pizza of pizza's for me. The sourdough crust made it taste that much better. The caramelize onions were super fresh and wow this was a pizza like no other. Definitely a 5/5

I recently visited La Tour Cafe at Kapolei Commons and sampled a few items from their menu. Here's how it went:I ordered the Chicken Pesto Panini, which came with a side of garlic fries. While the sandwich was crispy, it lacked the bold pesto flavor I was hoping for, and the portion size was a bit small. On the other hand, the side order of garlic fries were absolutely delicious--fresh, garlicky, and full of flavor. They were definitely a highlight of the meal.I also tried the La Tour iced coffee, but it fell short for me. It had a flavor reminiscent of an Iced Mocha Coffee from Jack in the Box, just smaller size and over priced. The real star of my visit was the Kouign Amann, specifically the Crème Brûlée Kouign Amann, which was recommended by one of the friendly staff members. It was phenomenal--flaky, airy, and light, with a creamy brûlée flavor on top. This dessert alone made the visit worthwhile!The customer service was warm and welcoming, which made the experience even more pleasant.Would I come back? Probably just for their Kouign Amann and maybe those garlic fries!
