La Ciccia

The best lasagna on this island (at least to me). Lasagna isn't an easy dish to make, let alone perfect. Mitch and the crew at La Ciccia consistently crank out winners each night -- especially the lasagna that is enough to feed two but comes in an individual plate, perfect for lunch the next day. Shout out to Jenn, Mitch, Amy and the entire team. We love La Ciccia!

Dining at La Ciccia is always great! Food is consistent, good size portions and always tasty.They provide excellent service and the entire team is always so accommodating. This is our go to especially when we entertain off island visitors.Kudos to Mitchell and the entire La Ciccia team

Summary: cozy place with fair prices, and hearty meals.This place is a nice place if you're looking for somewhere that isn't followed by hype. The restaurant reminds me of the locally run cafes that I used to go to all the time. There's no uncomfortable fancy vibe, and it's very welcoming to just walking in and find a seat. I never caught her name, but the waitress helping us was very nice and was a great example of what standard service should look like (she did great, I'm just griping about how bad service is nowadays...).We ordered a salad, an appetizer, and two entrees. All of them were good, homey and tasty. The free bread which, contrary to another review, did not bother us because it wasn't cut all the way through. Everything was tasty, everything was good, service was very good as well!The only criticism I have is regarding the atmosphere. The theming of the restaurant and what is served there feels a bit off. The salad, while tasty, felt a bit like a second thought. The pasta, while very good, wasn't that special. Don't get me wrong, I enjoyed the taste and the portion size (generous!), but when I pay $32 for a dish, I guess I expected something else. Perhaps maybe I'm not with the times and I should be grateful, because otherwise this place was fantastic. 4.5/5, rounding up because I saw no real issues with the place.

01/19/25Another wonderful dinner. My regular salmon alla pink... yuzu dessert and coffee. It was too busy so it was nice and quiet.

Did takeout from La Ciccia. Ordered the following: Calamari Fritti - large size squid strips, good portion size. Clams Casino - lots of clams in tasty soup. Linguine Meatball - good portion size and tasty. Comes with a roll of bread and butter. All plates very reasonably priced. Placed order and got it in around 1/2 hour. This place is 5 stars, tasty food, nice portions, great price, nice take out service. Easier if you go with two people as there are lots of restaurants in the areas and parking during dinner time can hard to find.

Wow this place is definitely a hole in the wall. I would have never been able to find it unless I saw other yelper's directions. We walked in and were asked if we have a reservation. Maybe a good idea to call in to see if they can accommodate you. We were lucky to be seated and the server was incredibly nice. The pasta is good here, but the sides are what really made it to my core memory. I would come for the sides alone!!!!The highlights were the calamari fritti and fried mozzarella. I have never had calamari fritti like this before! The calamari pieces were soft and thick so you get a nice bite to them (but not the rubbery chew). The crispiness dipped in the provided sauce was chef's kiss!!!!!!The mozzarella sticks were out of this world!!!!!!! I have been wanting to try the viral chili's mozzarella sticks since they are rectangular so I am so glad they were like that here. Of course it is probably 100x better here since it's fresh! But because of the way it's cut, you really get a better ratio between the outer fried shell and the soft cheese. Usually my husband doesn't like eating mozzarella sticks and will limit himself to half but he had no problem eating all of this!

Wow, time flies! I originally wrote a review three years ago after an amazing dining experience, and I'm thrilled to say that my recent visit was just as impressive. The restaurant remains clean, spacious, and welcoming, with plenty of room for comfort.A big shoutout to Jennifer, the same manager who made our first visit unforgettable. Her friendliness and customer focus are second to none.This time, we tried their recommended house-made Sicilian Sausage appetizer, each bite was fresh and delicious. For our main courses, we enjoyed the lamb chops (still my favorite!) and the veal saltimbocca. Every dish was bursting with flavor and cooked to perfection.We ended our meal with their classic tiramisu, which was the perfect sweet finish. What I love most about this restaurant is the consistent quality of the food, the reasonable prices, and the exceptional service.Jennifer and her team truly make this place stand out. Highly recommended, and we'll definitely be back again!

I ordered take out here and everything was delish! Ordered their chicken bacon mushroom carbonara, bone marrow, and tiramisu. We got complimentary bread and salted butter to go. Also requested for their chilli garlic sauce which goes so well with the pasta. We devoured everything! Love their complimentary bread which tasted fresh and soft!

Wow, how did I not dine here before?! So thankful that my friend chose La Ciccia to celebrate his birthday dinner or I would still be missing out on some great pasta! Located on King Street, a few doors from Kaiten Sushi Ginza Onodera, La Ciccia is an Italian fusion restaurant serving lunch and dinner. Judging by the amount of people walking in for take-out, La Ciccia is very popular and also a great place for a group celebration. With generous portions at reasonable prices and great service, it's definitely a win-win when you dine here. I love that they have all your traditional Italian favorites, but you can also opt for non-traditional like a mentaiko or natto pasta!
