L-4-Love Wedding Planning

I've been in and to many weddings and have seen how things can feel so different based on your wedding planner. I can honestly say that the weddings that Lauren and L-4-Love has done were so smooth down to the minute detail. From way back even before I had a boyfriend, I would always tell Lauren that if I ever got married sheHAD to do my wedding. Fast forward years later, I was so blessed to have her move around her personal life schedule to be able to make my dream come true.We did the 2 month out package. From the very beginning, her organized preferred vendor list with links and explanations helped me to pick out and get all my first choice vendors. She is so knowledgeable with all her experience and had so many useful and great recommendations. When we reached the 2 month out mark, she jumped in and it was such a huge relief. There were lots of little things on my invoices that were incorrect or missing that I didn't see. She communicates to the vendors and you don't have to worry about anything. One of the best things is her down to the minute organized, constantly updated timeline and set up list. She even makes separate ones for the emcees and wedding party and communicates with them. We had lots of last minute guest drop outs/additions and she was so great at helping us keep an organized guest list by name and by table. (I am horrible with excel and making those things). She was always so on top of it with everything. She always made us feel at ease by checking in, keeping us on track, and quickly answering tons of emails and helping with all of our questions and concerns along the way. The entire wedding day was an amazing whirlwind. But it went so smoothly and we didn't have to worry about anything except enjoying every minute. Definitely the best day of our lives and without Lauren and her amazing team it wouldn't have been the same. Then she has her "name changing packet" for after which has been the biggest lifesaver. Also what makes Lauren so great is that she treats you like family and really cares about each couple (not just doing a job with clients). She's worth every penny to make your wedding day flawless, stress free and bring your visions beautifully to life!

Lauren was the key player in our wedding. Without her, we wouldn't have had the perfect wedding. Her knowledge and connections she has with many of the vendors made the planning process and coordination smooth. As someone who is extremely anxious, I appreciate Lauren's promptness at responding to emails. Most of the time, she would respond back the same day I send out an email! The relief and reassurance she provided me that we were on the right track to getting things done really calmed my nerves down, and I am forever grateful for her for that. Lauren also provided a very thorough timeline for the wedding day, which we went over multiple times to ensure that nothing was missed and everything/everyone was accounted for. Since our wedding was at two locations (one location for the ceremony and another location for the reception), a strict timeline was necessary. On the day of, she took care of EVERYTHING. I had no worries in the world, which NEVER happens. This was all thanks to her and her team. I can't recommend them enough. Thank you again for being a part of our special day!

We were one of the poor souls who had a 2020 wedding that had to be postponed 3 times. That means poor Lauren had to shift gears and basically plan 3 different weddings for us, with A LOT of uncertainty along the way. But we are SO glad we had Lauren on our team the entire way. To know what kind of planner you are looking for, you need to know what kind of bride you are first. For me, I tell myself I'm low-key and chill, have low expectations, but I'm a closet control freak and type A project planner. So I always thought that I had things under control. But no no friends, Lauren will show you the way to wedding planning. Let me break it down:COMMUNICATION: Best of the best. She is very timely and sometimes ridiculously fast at responding to e-mails. Most importantly, one of the only people who actually answers ALL of my questions within an e-mail, like, line by line. I love that! Our scheduled calls are very efficient and productive. She sends you homework to work on between the meetings so you know what to prepare for. I also really appreciated her taking over communication and coordination with the various vendors as we got closer to the date. It gets to be very frustrating and hard to keep track of various vendors/contracts/dates etc as you get closer to wedding date, and when various things are needed. But she will help to communicate with vendors for you (especially since she has a good relationship with a lot of vendors on island to start with) and can help to negotiate any snags that happen along the way. Win!ORGANIZATION: Again, extremely organized. She uses Excel sheets (which I also love) and has things sent to you in chunks according to her timeline of planning (I think this may also depend on what package you select with her. I got the 2-months out planner package). She really is "all about the details" of planning. She will go through any "what if" scenarios with you as you get closer to the date, and try to help you brainstorm alternatives or ideas if you need to. She also has her own collection of rentals to borrow from if you need for those small items like frames, votives, candles, etc, so you don't have to worry about those small things from a rental company. PROFESSIONALISM: All-star. Lauren and her team are very kind and warm people, but never slacked on the professionalism from day 1. WOW FACTOR: Planning a wedding is inevitably a stressful and very anxiety-ridden process, leading up to this one huge day where everything is supposed to come to life and unfold before your eyes. As a bride, it is hard not to think about and wonder if things will be okay on wedding day, and notice if things maybe aren't exactly what they are supposed to be. But I'll say that on my wedding day, I was completely stress free. I handed everything off to Lauren and her team the days prior to our wedding, and I felt completely at ease knowing she was in charge. Our wedding day was absolutely flawless (even though a few hiccups did happen on wedding day, but Lauren hid them from me SO WELL)! I can't say enough about her. She is AMAZING at what she does, and does it all with the kindest and most humble heart.If only I could hire her to coordinate my life....

We want to share with the whole world how amazing Lauren and her team are. There are so many things you need out of an excellent wedding planner, and she pretty much checks all the boxes.Lauren cares. We had the unfortunate situation of trying to get married in April 2020. While we did get legally married on our planned day, we did not have the reception we were planning for the few months prior. We selected the two month plan and really Lauren was still doing a lot of work for us before. She was totally in the driver's seat prior to April and before we really knew how much of an impact the pandemic had on our special day, was gunning towards holding it. Once we realized that this was much more than staying at home for a few weeks, she took the steering wheel and helped us reschedule, and reschedule, and reschedule. Each time she rescheduled our reception, she did all the legwork to confirm our vendors. We really don't think she needed to, but because she cares so much about us who are pretty much going through this somewhat traumatic time. All we wanted to do was celebrate this with our closest family and friends, but with variants, stay at home orders, and vaccine mandates, we really weren't sure if this was ever going to happen.Lauren is pushy, but in the BEST way. She is so on her game and she really worked so well with us and we're sure all other couples. She made sure we kept to our deadlines (relatively...we struggled a little to meet them, but she let us know which ones were a must and which she could give us a day or two more on). But it makes a huge difference because with all those deadlines we needed to meet, she was working in the background putting all the timelines together and handing off information to our vendors.Lauren is precise. When our day finally came, we did not have to worry about much. She literally took care of EVERYTHING. Some of our wedding party were even making fun of her, but in a good way. A lot of us work in jobs that manage projects and timelines, but we were all shocked and amazed by the level of detail she puts in her timeline, and how hard she'll work to carry it through.We know some of the hurdles we went through won't apply to most reading this (the COVID rescheduling mostly), but we thought it was critical to include it in our review because it really shows you Lauren will make sure your event is perfect. You know, she doesn't have a crystal ball, or had a manual on how to handle weddings in a worldwide pandemic, however, with her organization, precision, and her passion for her work, she dedicated herself to making sure our wedding was something we'll always remember.Lastly, we've been to our share of weddings (in all honesty, we're some of the last of our own friends to get married, so we've been to A LOT), and never have we taken the time to say, "Wow, this planner got her/his/ s*** TOGETHER!" but we had a ton of people who made similar comments to us, saying that this was the smoothest wedding they've ever attended. I think at best we've been to weddings where we've never noticed any hiccups, and at worst, helping our friends with the timeline that day. So for people to even notice the organization, that's truly awesome.The price of a planner is not cheap, but we do feel like anyone getting married should budget for one. And even better, if Lauren is available, BOOK HER NOW! You will not regret it.

Working with Lauren and the L-4-Love team was the best decision I made during the wedding planning process. Lauren is an absolute delight and an amazing person. She made the whole planning process smooth and easy. We had to postpone our wedding due to COVID and Lauren made it so easy for us to get everything rebooked. Our wedding day was everything we wanted and more. Lauren understood our vision and really brought it to life. The day went SO smoothly because I know Lauren was behind the scenes taking care of things. She thought of every little detail so my husband and I could just enjoy the day. I could not recommend Lauren more!!!

Let me start by saying that hiring Lauren was probably the best wedding related decision I made (aside from marrying my hubby of course ). From the get go, Lauren was always prompt in replying to my emails. I'm sure any bride can attest to how stressful it is having vendors who take forever to reply to emails. Not Lauren! She sometimes even replies in minutes! Not only was she quick, but no matter how many questions I had, she never failed to address every single concern. It doesn't stop here. Not only is she prompt and thorough, but she was also SO sweet and kind! Having a global pandemic strike smack dab in the middle of wedding planning was a challenge to say the least, but Lauren handled everything as if she had planned weddings during pandemics in her past life. From changing our date twice, to reaching out to our vendors to reschedule, to helping us find the most epic ceremony venue, to standing up for us when we were having unexpected fees on an invoice, we honestly couldn't have done it without her. We always felt that she truly had our best interest in mind, and stayed positive and realistic at the same time, despite the challenges. EVERY couple needs someone like Lauren and her team on their wedding day. Looking back, I felt absolutely zero stress on our wedding day, and to me, that's priceless!!

Lauren did an AMAZING job with our wedding and worked tirelessly despite the many wrenches that were thrown in our path in 2020! We decided on a 2 month package and we are so glad we had someone to hold our hand through the craziness of a pandemic year. Lauren sounded the alarm when our original venue was not looking reliable for a May 2021 wedding and was easily accessible by email for any and all of our questions. Her vendor list was very helpful and we found our amazing photographer and florist through her recommendations. Lauren's attention to detail is unsurpassed and her timeline was helpful to our wedding parties in making the day go by smoothly. Her connections with other vendors in the industry also came in clutch and we felt confident that the day would come together. Thank you so much Lauren!!

Lauren is simply the best! Her professionalism, kindness, and work ethic are amazing and she helped to make our special day what we always dreamed! Lauren is detail oriented and really takes the stress of wedding planning away so you can truly enjoy the day. I promise you will not regret hiring her!!!

L-4-Love was amazing to work with. Like many others, we had to postpone our wedding due to COVID but thankfully for Lauren and her team - we were able to re-plan, navigate and adjust. Cost: We purchased the 2 month package. Lauren is definitely on the more expensive side, but you get what you pay for. With the challenge of the pandemic, Lauren was able to negotiate costs to remain at the 2020 rates, help us navigate rules for guests, and overall get us on track to shift everything to 2021. Also as a well-respected planner, she was able to negotiate a few discounts for us as well from her list of preferred vendors. Professionalism: Lauren is incredibly detailed. The amount of details needed for a wedding timeline and for the anything outdoor is critical. We had our wedding at Nutridge Estate and had to work with several other vendors for rentals - rentals was A BEAST! She asks critical questions and does not miss a beat when it comes to confirming what is needed. Day Of: Lauren comes in with a squad of girls on the day of to make sure everything goes off without a hitch. And she was CONSTANTLY moving during the whole event - she was so attentive to all the vendor partners, guests, and obviously us.Overall: We would highly recommend Lauren for any event (wedding, proposal, baby party etc.)

From two postponements due to COVID to pulling off our dream wedding, we really could not have done it without Lauren and her team!!! Lauren is the most organized, thoughtful, caring, and detailed wedding planner. From 2 years of planning to the day of the wedding, her and her team were very professional and always catered to our needs. They truly made our wedding stress less and really made it about celebrating us as a newly married couple. She really understood our vision for the wedding and executed it perfectly!
