GOOD KOREAN CHICKEN.I had always loved KyoChon in LA, and it was something I frequented when visiting California. You can only imagine my excitement when I found out that one was opening here on the island. Quality is the same, although a bit more expensive than I'm used to. Dining area is clean and small. I don't believe there is a restroom? I've ordered to eat in, take out and delivery. All times - it was a WAIT. And 90% of my take out orders - I had to wait past the time it was supposed to be ready. I don't really understand the priority of orders. For delivery, my status wasn't updating so I had to call to confirm?! They seemed like they just received my order... and I was worried it was gonna make order time.Service could be better. Staff is ok... not the friendliest, and team doesn't seem like a well-oiled machine. Other than that, the chicken is freaking delicious. Better than any other Korean chicken place I've tried. Their menu is small, but everything is great!Happy Eating!Yelp 2024 Challenge: 07/30

their fried chicken is nice in size and tasty:)) We ended up hear by chance. We were going to eat at Like Like Drive Inn, not knowing they were no longer there, LOL. This place was open and we thought ah lets try it thinking we were going to eat Korean food, hehe. Well this place sells Korean fried chicken and fried rice. We ordered the family bucket of 25 pieces ans let me tell you, this was ay more than enough for 4 of us. We actually left with left overs. We ordered 1 of each of the fried rice and all split it and again it was enough for us four adults. Cute little place, would definitely come for the chicken again if im in the area :))

***3.5 STARS***Just the other day my sister asked if I had any dinner plans, in which I originally was planning to stay home on my precious night off. She extended me an invite to join them for KFC (Korean fried chicken), in particular Kyochon, located near door to Yogur Story on Keeaumoku Street.Kyochon started in 1991 and is one of the largest KFC restaurants in South Korea with over 1200 locations in Korea and has expanded to over 70 international locations and can be located in China, Indonesia, Malaysia, Philippines, Taiwan, Thailand, United States, and United Arab Emirates. We got there shortly after 7pm and had 3 parties dining in and a few people waiting for their carryout order. Favorite nephew by default had ordered a combo of their 4 types of KFC with sides of potato wedges, garlic butter fried rice and daikon. He was quoted a 40mim wait. When I found out the combo only offered drumettes and flats, I wanted to order a whole chicken to satisfy my liking of breast meat and boney pieces. So after consulting with the family I got a whole soy garlic chicken and some daikon. I was quoted a 45min wait but I didn't mind as I read the food is made to order. After paying we secured a table and sat down. I listened to my family's stories of their trip to Korea last month, which included their experience at Kyochon. THE VERDICT:How wrong I was with hopes of eating freshly made chicken and sides. The chicken, potatoes and rice were all premade and served to us lukewarm. I was tempted to send the food back as we clearly were disappointed but let it go.The hot and Yangnyum chicken wings were clearly my favorite as the flavors shined. But then again, the chicken wings were barely warm. The soy garlic was not bad but would have preferred bolder flavors. The honey wings were a disappointment as it was bland to me. I had high hopes for the potato wedges but it was cold so one wedge was enough for me. The garlic butter fried rice was tasty but again, would have preferred it temperature hot. The best side was the daikon as it was cool and enjoyed the crunch when eating the nicely cut cubes. I appreciated the simplicity of its interior and its brightness. The staff, in particular the cashier, was a little off when she took my order. I made it clear that I wanted a whole soy garlic chicken but she got my order wrong and caught her error so I was able to fix it before finalizing my food order. Overall, mixed feelings at Kyochon where I'd be game for a return visit but I will not tolerate being served premade chicken served to me barely warm. I will make sure if my chicken will be made fresh and if it's not guaranteed, I see myself walking out and patronizing another business as the prices here are on the high side and Kyochon should be held accountable for their food quality.

The fried chicken wings here are excellent. It's the best Korean Fried Chicken wings that I've had on the island. Yes, the wait is long. They make it when it's ordered, so it's always fresh. That's what makes it so good. What I do is order ahead of time on their app. I tell them what time I'm picking up and when I get there it's ready for me. I got the Wing Series Sampler Double $23.99. It comes with six soy garlic wings, six red wings and six honey wings. My favorite was the soy garlic. It was crispy, savory and full of garlic flavor. The honey tasted exactly like the soy garlic, except on the sweeter side. They probably just add honey to the soy garlic. The red was definitely spicy. It was burning my mouth and throat. It should be fine if you eat spicy, which I don't.I also ordered the Garlic Butter Fried Rice $12.99. It was ok, but lacked flavor. Maybe I'm just used to my Chinese fried rice with all the different ingredients.

01/16/24-@4:30 pm. I finally got to order the chicken wings here! Still a 20-30 minute wait? The place was empty!! A surprise to me. The cashier tried to answer my questions about the new chicken options they had. She was nice. I asked for the sampler wing pack that comes with 6 soy garlic, 6 red, and 6 honey wings (bone in or boneless ) for $23.99 (with tax $25.07)I asked if the Red wings are hot and she answered "yes". I asked if I could substitute for a lesser spicy flavor. The answer was "no". So much for options. Lol. I'll see how the wings taste and I will update. Tables appeared clean. AC working very well. Bring a sweater, especially if it's late in the afternoon in December.Update: The honey and garlic shoyu wings are crispy and tasty. I elected not to try the Red yet.

A friend introduced me to this place claiming to be one of the best korean friend chicken you'd can possibly get. Located right next to yogurstory! Parking can be a bit difficult and very tight. My friend and I decided to get the Double 18, which contains three varieties of flavors - Soy, Red, and Honey. Our favorite was the honey and the soy, the red was a tad spicy for me. But, for all you spicy lovers that is your flavor to get! Overall, the ambience of the place is nice. It is a little small but it seems as tho you can study or work inside? So, it may be a little crowded. The wait time for the food however was VERY long, we waited almost 40 minutes for our order so it's best to order ahead of time!

Ordered the soy garlic chi-bap (6 pieces of wings with rice in a bowl), cost $14.63. The chix was extremely small with hardly any meat, like an aneroxic chicken, unlike BBQ or Vons. Also, the rice had seaweed and some weird white sauce that tasted like sour cream all over it, it tasted awful!!!

Ordered the 24 pieces on line, food was ready for pick up on time. We had half order of real fried and half of the yangnyum and pickled daikon. The regular fried or original is IMO the best, yamgnyum sauce was too sweet for my taste and didnt have enough heat.
